Cleansers -St. Ives - Make-up Remover & Facial Cleanser with soothing chamomile

Not a big fan of this stuff. Picked it up at Wal-mart for $3, hoping it would remove makeup at night. The texture was rather waxy, and the cream didn't foam up. I ended up massaging it into my skin and rinsing it off. Although it rinsed clean, when I applied toner afterwards with a cotton ball, I found that quite a bit of foundation had been left on my face. Additionally, since I have oily skin, the cleanser did not leave my face completely clean. Overall, a pretty cheap cleanser with average performance, designed mainly for those who use extremely light makeup and have dry skin. UPDATE: seems to clog pores :(

Mascara -Cover Girl - Marathon Waterproof Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

I never thought I'd say this about any mascara, but how do you get this stuff off?! This is literally the only mascara I've ever tried that hasn't smudged on me. I have downward pointing lashes which always seem to smudge on my lower eyelid within a couple hours, even in ideal conditions. CG Marathon, however, hasn't even smeared after a hot shower! I'd feel safe wearing this swimming, in the rain, or out for a jog.. I wish I'd known about this sooner. For those of you who've been plagued with raccoon eyes, before turning to the expensive "Kiss Me Mascara", give this $4 (at Walmart or Kmart) mascara a try!

Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

I used this product in Chocolate Brown to dye over some light brown, orange turning highlights and a previous medium ash brown dye. I was very pleased with the result--smooth, glossy, dark brown, almost-black hair. This dye has minimal dripping and a bearable fruity/ammonia scent. The leave-in avocado conditioner is great; make sure to leave it in for MORE than the recommended 2 minutes in order to get really soft, shiny hair.

Foundations -Wet 'n' Wild - Keep it real [DISCONTINUED]

The cheapest foundation ever! I find it helps that the coverage is so light, since it blends pretty well with any skin tone. I smooth a little bit of "Honey" on my medium toned skin, and it looks fine. The only bad thing is the strange smell... it's not too strong though.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Twist-Up Blush Stick in #720 Scandalous

A nice, easy blush to apply. The twist-up stick is convenient and quick for times when I'm in a hurry. The shade of pink is a little too bright (my skin tone is medium), but would be perfect for someone with very light skin. Even so, I find myself using this quite often, and the shimmer adds a little fun :) Oh, and it's one of the cheapest blushes you could buy, too!

Hair Color -Revlon - Frost & Glow Highlighting Kit
rated 4 of 5

Having not tried any other highlighting products before, I can't compare this to anything else. I used this on my black hair, and after 50-55 minutes it lightened it to a orangish-gold color, which I didn't mind since afterwards I used a hair color in medium ash brown to cool the color down. I love the results (dark brown-caramel highlights); however, I probably wouldn't use this product alone unless I wanted garish orange highlights. Btw, the cap works great (a little painful though)~ I have long hair, and it stayed pretty much tangle-free as long as I brushed it well before using the cap.
