Concealers -Revlon - ColorStay Under Eye Concealer

I generally have bad luck with concealers, and this one isn't perfect, either. It has been the best I've found so far, though. It covers my undereye circles and can hide any redness/blemishes on my face. Lasts for a long time, and I like that it's a click pen and not just an open pot or jar - not only is it more sanitary, but it's also less likely to spill and cause a mess. I've tried other concealers, but I always seem to go back to this.
I really do like these lipsticks. Great color range, creamy, decent wear for a lipstick, and really pretty packaging. However, they tug a little bit when first applying, like the consistency is possibly a little too thick? It looks wonderful on the lip in spite of that, though. The smell is kind of off-putting - maybe some sort of floral, makeup-y scent? Doesn't ruin it, though, and goes away pretty quickly. I'm leaving this lipstick behind though because the new line of lipsticks that Cover Girl put out - Lip Perfection - pretty much blows this out the water. For about the same price and as good a color selection, I'd rather buy that over the Maybelline.
HG status - My absolute favorite new line of lipsticks. Color payoff was really great - I was amazed at how pigmented it was when I first swiped it on my lips. Feels very creamy and smooth; it lasts a long time, and when it wears away, it leaves a really lovely stain on your lips. I love how sleek the packaging is - I'm very impressed that it's not your usual black casing yet still isn't embarrassing to pull out your purse. I definitely didn't expect this from a Cover Girl lipstick. I have four colors (I chose loud colors - Hot, Spellbound, Flame, and Divine) and am already planning to buy some of the more subdued colors for everyday wear. Amazing lipstick, especially for the price.
I really wanted to like this - I loved how cheeky the packaging is. I love the flat tube, which is great for slipping in the pocket of my jeans, and I like the clear wand with the brush on the end. I got it in David, which is a purple-mauve-fuschia hybrid and also a man in a suit who switches to tighty whiteys. It's creamy with a little slip, but not so slick that it just slides off your lips. The color is sheer but does show up, and it's pretty flattering to my skintone (not sure what it is NCxx, but I'm a light-to-medium Asian chick). The only reason why I don't like this is its smell. Creme brulee can't be too bad, right? Wrong. It's godawful, and the smell lingers. I usually forget about a lip product's scent as soon as I put it on, but it was constantly there, a chemical-laden, generally sweetish smell. I had my boyfriend take a whiff of the tube, and he also agreed that it was a pretty rank sweet smell.
I would love it a lot more if it weren't so expensive. I like the big full brush and how much volume it gives to my lashes - I want the look of false eyelashes without actually using them, and I think this does it pretty well. However, it's hard to wash off with just regular face soap and water, which is a downside to me.
The brush has way too much of a learning curve to master - I mean, it's mascara. It shouldn't take too much effort to learn, you know? It's like a weird paddle that will cause (depending on how you turn it) either spidery, clumpy lashes or wimpy volume. It also flaked really badly. Just stick with Colossal in the yellow tube; that one does a pretty bang-up job for a DS volume mascara.
This isn't my favorite mascara (that would be Diorshow) but this is my favorite mascara that I can actually afford. Gives me lots of volume, as long as it hasn't dried out. I've tried so many mascaras - both high and low-end, and I won't even buy it if it doesn't promise volume - and this is the best volumizing DS mascara that I've ever used. Washes off easily with soap and water, doesn't flake or leave weird smudges, the black's an actual black, and doesn't make my lashes feel crunchy. The packaging is so tacky though. I think I'd make it a full five stars if it didn't scream "Hello, I'm a cheap-o mascara!" Not the biggest deal, though.
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Anti-Redness Primer

Garbage. It's so runny that if you press the pump down even the tiniest bit, way too much will come out. On its own, it didn't correct redness near my nostrils or on red spots on my face. Combined with my regular concealer, it made me look like I had strange ashen gray patches on my face. Better to use your concealer alone than use this. Way too expensive for how ineffective the product is, too.
Blush -Victoria's Secret - Mosaic Blushing Powder in Afterglow

I got this as part of a Christmas set a while back. I always end up reaching for it, even though I'm not particularly enamored of Victoria's Secret in general. I'm medium-to-pale with Asian coloring, and it looks like a really natural flush of color on me.
I bought this in Fire. It's a very pigmented red gloss, more like a liquid lipstick. Use a little bit for a sheer but noticeable wash of color or wear it heavier for a full-on red lips look. Wears for a while, so it doesn't just slip off the lips. I also had it Papaya, but hated the almost grainy texture the shimmer gave to it. Used it only once before giving it away. Very beautiful packaging, but the formula isn't so special that I'd buy Fire again if I ever ran out of it.
Beautiful color on my skin, but I hated the texture. It's pretty long-lasting for a gloss but has an almost granular texture in it from the shimmer. I gave it away almost immediately. I really loved the packaging, however, and ended up buying one in another color that didn't have as much shimmer in it, and its texture is much better.
