this mascara is awful, imo. clumped horribly and smudged like crazy. i am going to stay away from maybelline mascara. Terrible!

Shampoo -Dove - Intense Moisture Shampoo

Excellent shampoo from the drugstore. I would say its the best drugstore shampoo that I have tried. I find that most of them dry the heck out of my hair. This is almost as nice as my Redken All soft, which I find is too heavy for the winter/spring. Nice scent, not overpowering. Would buy again for sure!

Conditioner -Aussie - Moist Conditioner

This is a great everyday conditioner that I would definately repurchase again. It has a great smell and conditions well for everyday. The only time I would not use this product is in the summer when I have lighter hair that I find requires a salon brand with protein and moisture. Worth a try for sure!

Lotions/ Creams -Nature's Gate - Herbal Unscented Body Lotion

What a great find! I have been looking for a nice, mid-range body lotion and I think I found it! This lotion leaves my skin feeling very moisturized and the softness lasts until I shower or bathe the next day. It is not greasy at all and absorbs/dries quickly. Makes a nice hand lotion too! Would definately recommend it!

Lip Liners -Clinique - Quickliner for lips in Bamboo No. 33

This is a fantastic, very versatile lip liner! The colour is a toned down pink that looks great with so many glosses. Long lasting, and I like the fact that you dont have to sharpen it. Would definately repurchase!

Cleansers -Lancome - Mousse Confort- Foaming Cream Cleanser

This is a great cleaner for combo skin that tends to dry a bit in the winter months. It lasts forever, as you only need just a bit of it. Makes a nice lather and doesnt strip the skin. My only gripe is that you need to use a separate eye makeup remover, imo. If you can get this in a gwp, all the better as the size is perfect for only using it part of the year, unless you have dry skin all the time.

Ok, so I made a decision that since I pay for a ppid card that I would resist any more drugstore foundation purchases (aside from my fav, colorstay natural) I got a sample of this on an Olay daily facials refill and I am really really impressed with this foundation! The coverage is wonderful and my pores are erradicated! I have combo skin that breaks out if I don't use an Olay daily facial to remove foundation and I have not had any problems with this at all. Will definately repurchase and would consider using it in my kit if I could disguise the 'Covergirl' packaging from clients:)

Mascara -Annabelle - magnifeye

I find this to be a great mascara. I have used up most of the tube and feel that I would repurchase it again. I normally use Loreal Lash Out for everyday. Magnifeye is definately more volumizing than it is lengthening. The price is great too. I didnt find any problems with smudging either.

(Ack! please ignore spelling mistake in product name:) This is a great, inexpensive alternative to the Body Shop's body butters. However, it is not as moisturizing as a body butter, but almost. I really enjoy this scent, smells very 'beachy'. It has a creamy consistency that is not greasy or hard to apply. I think its a good buy for the price $10 CDN, and they are often on sale.

I have tried a million straightening products and the Balm is the absolute best thing i have ever tried!!!! I have fine, frizz prone hair that has a lot of natural wave. This makes is beautifully smooth and straight. I will never buy another product again, I dont care how much this stuff costs! It is a miracle for my hair!

A nice silvery lavender with glitter. I really like the texture of the lustres. Very nice used as a wash. I was hoping for it to come out a little more purply, but it will do. I can't say it knocked my socks off, but nice addition to the collection none the less.

Lip Treatments -Labello - Lip Balm

I guess I am in the minority when it comes to Labello lip balm. This product dried the crap out of my lips. Very badly, not just a little. I guess due to the fact that it is so cheap, give it a whirl, but have a backup in case you get the same results.

Self Tanners -Lancome - Flash Bronzer Instant Dry self-tanning Spritz

I have tried quite a few self tanners and I have to say that this one really disappointed me. Because of the Instant dry factor, I think it contains a high level of alcohol. You can smell it when you spray and it makes the skin look dry and crepey which is a big no in self tanning. I also don't care for the orangey look it gives to feet in particular. The high cost is a definate deterrant for any repurchasing as well. I will stick to my coppertone endless summer!

Moisturizers -Olay - Replenishing Night Creme

I am a sucker for nostalgia, and this totally reminds me of my grandma! I was looking for a drugstore night cream (my fave, lancome is too darn expensive!!!) anywhoo I saw this and decided to give it a whirl. Glad I did. Its a nice moisturizer for night, didnt break me out (combo skin) and is a great price!

Eye Shadow -Jane - Eye Zings - Hip Bone

This is a great sheer white for hightlighting the browbone and lid. I like that it is matte and can also be applied lightly over another shadow to tone it down. It can be sheer or more opaque depending on application. A great price for a shadow colour that is nice to have but is used less often.
