this was $38 CDN. This should be applied with a light hand if you have pale skin like I do. Be careful you can end up looking dirty/orange if you put on too much. this gives me a lovely glow with very subtle shimmer and lasts all day. If my skin is slightly dry or not perfectly smooth, this will accentuate it and go on really blotchy. Will probably repurchase if I can't find something better

This was $17 CDN for 1.5g. It's a really glittery off white (not goldish at all imho). This looks really pretty on the inner corners of my eyes but I do find it really chalky and hard to blend. This looks realy great for going out and a little goes a long way. I prefer using my fingers instead of a brush for this. May repurchase if I run out. EDIT: this made me break out when i accidentally got some on my cheek

Bronzers -Quo - Faux Glow 2 Bronzing Powder

This was $17 for 10g. It lasts for the entire day but it turns up really orange on me. I find it a bit too glittery if i pair it with my shimmery blush. I'm also not a big fan of the packaging. Will not repurchase. EDIT: I just discovered that this has been irritating my skin and making break out!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Double Extend in Carbon Black

this was more expensive than most drugstore mascaras. i got the best results when i applied the black color first and let it dry. then the primer on the tips and the black formula on top immediately. this does give you the false eyelash look and the formula was really black. however, it has no curling power whatsoever so i have to curl my lashes before and after. there was some lengthening but no volume. applying this is very time consuming and there was some flaking and smudging esp on the lower lashes. won't repurchase.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Turbo Boost Waterproof

this was somewhere around $7 CDN. This had the potential of being the best mascara i've tried. The regular version is good, but I like the wp better. No clumps or flakes, but weighs down my lashes when i apply more than 2 coats. This is not for you if you want soft, natural lashes. it lasted approx 4-5 months. Unfortunately, i get raccoon eyes and lose my curl even when the weather is slightly humid. Will not repurchase unless i can't find something better

this cost me $48CDN. the packaging is gorgeous. i have it in neroli rose, a very pale sparkly pink. it blends very well and makes my skin look smoother. it's very natural looking. probably won't repurchase because i'll never run out and it's a bit pricey.

this is a very sheer but fake looking pink with a very strong scent. i find the colour looks more natural when i wear it over lip balm or something that makes my lips paler. the texture is pretty thick and it makes my lips super shiny and i didn't find it very sticky at all. however u don't get that much product and the twisty tube is kind of annoying and messy. it doesn't last too long either. will not repurchase.

i really wanted this to be my HG! it's a soft black with very subtle gold sparkles. the formula was very smooth and creamy and so easy to apply with my 263 brush. but it smudged like crazy on my oily lids (stays perfect on my waterline though). $18 CDN plus $20 for the brush. won't be repurchasing unless i buy a primer.plus, i've been using this everyday for over a year and still have half the product left (though it's getting dry). EDIT: i got UDPP and it helped, but this will still smudge when it's really hot out or if my eyelids are being strange. Also I prefer the more intense darkness of blacktrack

best pencil liner out there. lasted on my lower lashes for hours and is waterproof. it smudged all over my lids like all pencils do for me. $10CDN for not that much product. will not repurchase

got this in golden oasis and the colour looked very natural on me. it has a sweet smell and was very shimmery and glossy as long as i put it on real thick. it was really sticky and kept getting stuck to my hair. it also got crusty around the inside and the corners of my lips after a while.

got this in carbon. the formula was too wet and leaked on my lashes and weighed them down. I also don't like the glossy finish it gives. it flakes off if i rub my eyes or get it wet. On the plus side, this stuff stayed perfectly on my oily lids when I was working in an extremely hot and humid kitchen. the felt tip brush was very easy to use. used up the entire bottle in 3 months.

this mascara did nothing for me. did not hold curl at all and was very flaky. the tube dried up after about a month. the only good thing i can say is it didnt clump. wil never buy this again.

got this in florentine pathway and it's pretty expensive for a drugstore brand ($15). the packaging is really annoying because you have to stick your nail in the crack to open it up. the colors don't show up too well and they go on pretty blotchy. will not repurchase.

this was my first mascara. it didnt really hold curl lengthen or thicken and it made my lashes stuck together. flakes a bit and it started to dry up in the tube after only 2 months. didnt run or smudge when i cried or rubbed my eyes. it was okay, will not repurchase
