Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Matte in Smoked Peach 013

The formula of this lipstick is not good. It's not very pigmented on my medium pigmented lips (I'm an NC30). It applies VERY streaky and building up the swipes does not make a difference. It's not as matte as it claims, it's actually got quite a bit of tiny shimmers in the lipstick. Overall, if you don't have medium pigmented lips (or darker) then this may work for you, I'm not sure, but if you have medium pigmented lips, I would not recommend this. Your lip colour underneath will overpower the colour and the lipstick's pigmentation is too poor to fight it. Really disappointed because it looked like a nice colour in other peoples' swatches and pictures.

Concealers -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Concealer

I don't think this concealer. I don't agree with all the reviews that say it has a full/high coverage. At most, this is medium.I've tried covering a minor blemish/red spot (not even one of those pimples with the bumps!) and you can still see redness and the blemish behind it. I've tried building this up and that doesn't work either, so I really have no idea where people are getting "high coverage" from. What have they been trying to conceal? The pigmentation appears good at first swipe, but once you blend it in, it's just all gone. I initially bought this because of the rave reviews, I think I'll be more careful next time :/ What a waste of money considering it's not as cheap as in the US over here...

Brows -Revlon - Brow Fantasy

I got this at the pharmacy (drug store for the Americans out there) yesterday for only $5, they were in the discount basket and boy should I have bought more! Shade: Light brown Texture - the texture of the pencil, for me, I find is quite stiff and not so creamy Pigmentation - the pigmentation is average, it's not true to the outside of the pencil on first swipe but you can build it up. You have to press quite firmly if you want it the colour of the outside of the pencil because of the stiffness I was talking about earlier. I personally like this because you get more feathery strokes and a more natural colour. Packaging - The packaging's convenient having the gel and pencil together. You may not think it's a big deal, in my bathroom products are not reached so easily and when you're in a hurry to get out the door (i.e. everyday for me ha ha) it's just nice having the gel right there after the pencil. I don't think the packaging is especially lush looking, at first I even thought it was cheap looking, but it's grown on me and it's a very convenient and gadget looking. Lasting power - I haven't worn this for a whole day out yet, but I don't need to. I did a few swatches of it on my hand when I opened it, and the swatches were difficult to rub off! ;) They really stayed in place and in fading, they didn't smudge, only faded in colour. I think that's all I have to say about the product, I like the control you have over pencils and they can usually be too pigmented but this colour and the way the colour comes off is perfect. With the brow powder I have, I actually find that it's a little difficult to achieve a natural colour sometimes because of deciding how much powder on your brush is appropriate and you have to concentrate on creating natural strokes and directing the pencil in the right direction - at the same time. While with this, the colour is sorted for you and the directing is just as easy, if not easier because it's harder to make a pigmented mistake. Also with this product, I achieve a natural looking brow in the end, it can never go darker than a certain shade and it's very even looking because of the pigmentation of it. It's really easy to achieve a thin/polished brow if desired, unlike powders which I can find feather a bit and make my brows lose their shape.

Mascara -Bobbi Brown - Lash Glamour Lengthening Mascara

This is my first high end mascara, and I don't know if the others are the same but, this is amazing. Perhaps it's because it's a specifically a lengthening mascara that it lengthens so well, but I have a fiber mascara that doesn't lengthen as well as this. This has totally changed my approach to high end mascaras, I was never against them, I just never felt the need to try them because there are so many reviews out there saying drugstore mascaras at the same. But the instant I used this, I could tell that it was obviously different to my other drug store mascaras. It just glides onto your eyelashes so easily and lengthens them so well. Doesn't clump. You can really just tell that it's of a good quality. And now I can't wait to try more high end mascaras in the future! With research of course ;) I can't believe this doesn't have better reviews, because it does what it says, "lengthening", PERFECTLY. Thanks for reading Oh and I love the packaging, sleek, minimalistic, timeless, convenient, classy and just not cheap looking with plastic in ugly colours like many (but not all) drugstore mascaras, which is something I've always disliked about drugstore mascaras e.g. lash blast, falsies - haven't had any problems with smudging or flaking, this stayed put throughout a warm Australian summer's day - doesn't come out with excess out of the tube

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick - Strawberry Suede [DISCONTINUED]

This is such a wonderful lipstick! The colour is gorgeous, it makes a statement but it's not too loud/harsh and in your face. I think it's a wearable everyday red, if you were call reds everyday and wearable :) I believe it's yellow undertoned, or maybe neutral, but I think it would still be flattering on cooler fairer/beige skin tones. Instead of many lipsticks which are dark and either yellow or blue based, I feel this lipstick has quite a lot of white in it, hence it being less dark and harsh than some red lipsticks I think this would be perfect for younger girls getting into red lipstick because it looks quite youthful, but I think it could definitely suit maturer people too! In the tube it looks darker and upon swatch it looks pink, but on my lips it looks like a soft red. So it's strange like that, be aware of it in case you may feel deterred from the lipstick. The TEXTURE is amazing. I love this texture. I love creamy textures, not slippery, thin textures like rimmel moisture moisture renew and maybelline moisture extreme, those lipsticks are just strange! They are moisturing so your lips won't chap and look dry, yet they are too thin in consistency that they sink into the tiniest lines of your lips (which are lines of dryness) and make your lips look dryer and worse than their natural state! As I was saying, the texture is creamy and gives your lips a smooth textured finished. It's very matte and not shiny! And it's not drying at all! I don't know if I would call it moisturising because I never look for that in products and don't really know how I would look for it, but no one need worry about it drying out your lips! It keeps them soft and supple. It's beautiful, I hope/look forward to using it as a casual tint when I don't feel like wearing it opaque for casual going out days.

- Oxidises - Unhygenic brush - Not a large range of shades contrary to what another reviewer has said, they are all around a natural beige colour - Light - medium coverage, so not actually high, and in some peoples' opinions "good" coverage - Easy to blend This is how it is for me so far

Omg, I'm so relieved to hear that I'm not the only one that has a problem with Australis foundations leaving me with bumps on my skin at the end of the day, and eventually breaking my skin out if I wear it for a prolonged period, e.g. a few days in a row. Then again it sucks that other people are having the same problem as me! What are they putting in their foundation! The coverage is light - medium, I would say, which is fine for me, but the quality of the product is terrible so :/

Damn Australia! Just incase any Australian's didn't know already, I don't think ours come in tinted form? Anyway I have Cherry, the scent isn't delicious, it's a bit sour but I can tolerate it. It seems to be quite a thick, waxy lip balm but I would say it is moisturising. Yay for SPF! Packaging is cute, but would have liked to have a lid or something on the packaging indicating whether it was tinted or not. Price - Average. not cheap, not expensive, in line with other balms Would I repurchase? No. I'm just going to keep scouring to see if I find a HG

Good in the beginning but this is a really soft lip balm and just melts even when it's not that hot! After one exposure to heat, it's never the same again, I use to like the texture but it just seems to feel greasy on my lips now and never really drys. And when I think it has dried, the lip balm is really gone. So no staying power. However I really quite liked the pigmentation of this, it was a really pretty tint. However you had to layer it on a bit to get that nice tint. Packaging - tends to open in my bag :/

Yeah, like the other reviews have said. Dont let the hawt sleek packaging deceive you! Staying power - crap! Pigmentation - actually good.. lol But doesn't matter! because it comes off as soon as you try to curl your lashes and wand, flicky and rubbery. :/ Not as easy to control, you could do it, but felt would be so much more time saving.

Not really "black pearl" more like dark grey in my opinion :/ Pigmentation - good Brush - soft rubbery, flicky and harder to control Staying power - bad. comes off when I try to curl my lashes SOMETIMES STINGS MY EYES! :/ Really weird.

Staying power - kinda awful. I can't really curl my lashes after this Pigmentation - pretty good Brush - dislike. it's not felt, it's a soft brush which is all flicky and more difficult to control. Packaging - sleek and lovely

Comes with very little so the price isn't actually that great. I would rather just by a better quality and higher quantity (for a little more) glitter liner. e.g. Chi chi, NYX any Dries out easily so be careful with this one Packaging isn't great, doesn't stand up the best because it's got so much going on vertically

I would say this is a fairly soft pencil, great if you just want to use it as a base for eyeshaodow or want to use it for smudging. But the staying power isn't great. Pigmentation isn't amazing. Price is average, you could get cheaper and same quality at the $2 store. Great for beginners though

Pigmentation isn't bad, but it's cheap so it would be a great starter eyeshadow for someone getting into eyeshadow or just wanting to try BYS out. The pigmentation is enough to achieve some nice looks and actually wear them out. The packaging isn't my favourite, one drop and it's kind of the end of the world.
