Treatments -MD Skincare by Dr. Dennis Gross - Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel

I really like this product for radiance, I feel that my products absorb better after I've used it, and it helps to combat and dry out acne. It gives a nice radiance the next day if I use it at night, and you get a good amount of applications for $30 CDN. I definitely recommend this alternated with a face mask (Boscia Luminizing Black Mask is a fave) and all your dull dead skin will be gone!
I like the TiGi Rockaholic dry shampoo better than this one, however, this one does its job too. Doesn't leave a white residue, and absorbs oil. I find I go through one can fairly quickly, another reason I like the TiGi one (bigger can.) But overall it is one of the best on the market.
I love this dry shampoo, better than Oscar Blandi and Klorane. You get a big bottle, and you can spray it directly on the hair and it blends nicely. You may need more blending for brunette hair, but this has become a staple in my haircare routine. It definitely does its job, and I get sad when it gets low. Recommend!
This product is marketed as a deep conditioner, but I use it as an everyday conditioner. Sometimes I feel it is almost too rich that it doesn't even penetrate my hair and makes detangling more difficult, but for 6 dollars I can't complain. Doesn't compare to Kerastase and Bumble and bumble products, but one of the best drugstore conditioners I've used.
I have the shower gel of this, and I bought it at Winners for about 10 bucks. It has a nice evening musky scent, and it was nice for in the shower. I would not pay full price for it as its not a to-die-for scent, but the shower gel was nice and I looked forward to using it. The scent also lasted awhile on my skin even after getting out of the shower.
Cleansers -Ole Henriksen - African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser

This cleanser smells wonderful, kind of sweet. However, the foam was too thin for me to use it with my Clarisonic. It cleanses nicely, and I think it would be ideal for sensitive skin that doesn't usually get oily or break out. It didn't overdry my skin which was nice, and I would recommend it for normal skin types
I do not have a problem with dark spots/radiance overall, just a few acne scars on my skin that are not very obvious. However, I did notice that this gave a nice glow to my skin after 2-3 weeks of use. If you're looking for a serum for the sake of using one and don't have any major skin concerns I would recommend this product. If you're looking for something more targeted I don't think this will do the trick, but a nice product overall.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher

This serum mattified nicely under my moisturizer, but I didnt like the awkward square shaped bottle, makes it hard to get it all out. I got the sample sized one that lasted me about a week, so I didn't notice any longterm benefits or changes in my skin, but it gave a nice overall matte smooth finish on my skin. Probably wouldn't buy the whole product, but it may be worth giving a try.
Cleansers -Christian Dior - Purifying Foaming Cleanser with Crystal Iris Extract

I loved this cleanser and it did its job well, it was creamy enough to use with my Clarisonic brush, yet not so rich that it didn't lather. However, the scent is so strong that when it got near or in my eyes it burned really badly. I would recommend Lancome's Creme Radiance cream cleanser, its cheaper and doesn't have the strong scent and does EXACTLY what this one does.
This is a nice lightweight lip balm that can be used under lipsticks. However, the moisturizer doesn't last very long and I find I have to apply a lot and reapply often to get enough moisture for my lips. It comes in a beautiful black and gold lacquered lipstick tube, typical of Chanel. However, for its price at $35 CND I would not repurchase. I would recommend Dior Lip Glow instead, as you get more moisture and gloss for the price.
Moisturizers -Caudalie - Vinosource Quenching Sorbet Creme

This is an amazing lightweight cream that still gives adequate moisture without being heavy and rich. It doesn't clog pores and is very nice under makeup. I don't like the packaging and only give 5/5 stars if its a vacuum pump, but with this one I just cut the top off and use the last bit. Overall, great product.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Total Repair Replenishing Mask

This is marketed as a deep conditioner, but I use it on my fine hair as a conditioner everytime I wash my hair because its rich but doesn't weigh hair down. It detangles nicely and smells good. Of course it cannot compare to Kerastase or Bumble and bumble, but for its price range its the best one.
Treatments (Eye) -Peter Thomas Roth - Lashes To Die For

I received the two week supply with the Lash Stash set from Sephora, so I'm assuming I didn't see results because it didn't last long enough for me to use it and see results. I don't like the packaging because even when you've used it all and can't get any more out, the packaging doesn't allow the wand to reach and get it all out. Spend a little more on mascara and invest in a good one, you'll see instant better results.
Eye Makeup Remover -Chanel - Precision Eye Makeup Remover
jacoba 11/18/2011 11:34:00 PM
I do love this eye makeup remover, although I do dissolve my eye makeup remover with cetaphil first to get the bulk of it off as I don't like tugging at the delicate eye area with any eye makeup remover. But this one leaves NO grimy, oily residue, one of the few removers that lives up to that promise. I can use it in the morning to remove anything I didn't get at night and then put foundation or concealer right on top and it wouldn't make a difference in how my foundation went on. I would say this one and Lancome Bi Facil rival for the top spot in makeup removers, so if you're on the market for a good one, this is worth the splurge.
This is a really cheap heat protectant spray, and I'm not even sure if it does its job, there is no evidence from what I can see. The spray doesn't go on very finely, so even when you spray it on dry hair before flat ironing (as instructed) it makes your hair wet, making it even more prone to damage. From a vanity point of view, its an ugly, childish looking bottle. Its not terrible enough that I'm throwing it away, but I'm almost out and once I'm done with it I won't be repurchasing.
