My sensitive late-40's skin LOVES this cleansing oil! The divine scent of jasmine is lovely and it takes just two pumps to get the perfect amount for cleansing. My face feels wonderful after using it and it keeps my very sensitve skin happy. I love the fact that it doesn't contain mineral oil, which I have to stay away from, and other naughty ingredients.
LUSCIOUS is my word for this lovely lip balm. I'm not fond of lip balm in pots, but this one is truly extraordinary. I love how it melts into my lips and feels soooooo smooth for an extra long time. It is truly lovely and feels so luxurious. Mmmmm!
Lotions/ Creams -Nude Skincare - Moisturising Body Cream

I have been using this product for about a week and LOVE the silky feel of my skin after use... and the feeling lasts all day. Its scent is very overpowering at first. It smells as if there is a whole flower garden in one tiny squirt! (I don't know about the "rotting" aspect someone else reported. It is definitely VERY floral!) In fact, when I put a bit on the back of my hand I didn't think I'd be able to stand it. I thought it would give me a headache! But the next day I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy I did. The scent sort of melts into my sensitive skin along with the milky lotion/cream, leaving just a delightfully light scent behind, and the scent lingers until I go to bed at night (when showering and applying in the morning). At $36 (currently 25% off regular price on nudeskincare.com) it is pricey, but I'll continue to enjoy it as long as hot weather is here.
I may as well have had neon arrows pointing at the wrinkles around my eyes when I wore Bare Minerals yesterday. It looked great when I tried a bit of it at Sephora, but I was thoroughly embarrassed yesterday. To make matters worse, I woke up this morning with a sandpapery texture on my face. I believe I can thank Bare Minerals for that as well since I hadn't changed any other part of my routine. (And yes, I did remove it before retiring!) What a disappointment.
I have to admit that **blush** I'm a Caldrea junkie. I haven't used Dawn or Palmolive dishwashing liquids since I discovered Caldrea products about 8 years ago. I was first drawn to the brand because it's environmentally friendly and not tested on animals. I took a sniff and was WOWed over by the amazing scents. That was all I needed to purchase my first bottle, although I wondered if it would actually work on dirty dishes. Soap bark? I was skeptical. When I tried it in my sink, it was amazing! I hardly needed to use any and there were amazing suds, and it even cut through grease! Best of all, it smelled divine. Since that first bottle, I've bought many of their scents, including their special holiday time ones. Caldrea also makes the signature scented products for Williams-Sonoma, by the way. I have at least two dishwashing liquid scents on hand at all times and they are always a joy to use! Oooooh, who would think doing dishes could be so relaxing and joyful? I highly recommend all Caldrea's products! (Their all-purpose cleaner is wonderful on floors & walls!) My current fav scent is Sandalwood Riceflower but I love them all.
My *aging* and sensitive skin rejects almost all foundations, and I've tried so many. This one is light and comfortable, does not make my skin itch or tingle. Actually, I can't even tell I have it on. It blends effortlessly and looks just lovely. It makes me look like me but better! And I love the fact that it has SPF 20. The ingredients are wonderful, with no nasty things I avoid. I highly recommend this! LOVE it! :)
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Skin By Ann Webb Pepermint Body Milk Cleanser

I first picked Ann Webb's peppermint milk hydrating cleanser at Whole Foods. I always look for products with natural (and, better yet, organic) ingredients and this product caught my eye. When I first tried it, I was a bit disappointed because I could not really detect peppermint fragrance or "tingle," however I really loved the way my face felt after using it. My skin was so soft and lovely, not at all tight or uncomfortable. After almost using up my small bottle, I decided to go all out and purchase more products from Ann Webb online (www.skinorganicsaw.com). Ann has changed her brand name to Skin Organics, by the way. It was super easy to find just what I needed for my, a-hem, aging and sensitive skin. I purchased two big bottles of the Peppermint Milk hydrating cleanser, and small bottles of Lavender Silk face and body scrub, Cucumber Sage calming mist, Pomegranate Protection shade boosting moisurizer, and Vanilla Acai youth preserver. I wanted to make sure that the rest of the line worked as well with my sensitive skin as the cleanser does before investing in larger bottles of each. I LOVE all the products and my face is glowing and the softest it's been since I was about 2 years old. It is amazing! This has happened in less than a week. The Lavender Silk is a dry powder that you add to your cleanser. It makes the cleanser sort of lather up and become nice and creamy. When you then cleanse your face, all these tiny powdery particles made from spinach powder, cinnamon powder, etc. just ever so gently exfoliate. You can also add this product to your shower gel to exfoliate your body. The Cucumber Sage calming mist is super refreshing and also so gentle. It feels very nice any time of the day. The Pomegranate Protection shade boosting moisturizer smells divine and seems nicely moisturizing without leaving any greasy residue behind. I am even using it under my eyes, which is something I normally can touch only with specialized under-eye products. This product is to be used in the mornings. The Vanilla Acai youth preserver also smells just incredible. It is supposed to help repair damage, soften fine lines, and firm skin. So far I've seen quite a huge difference in what my skin looks like and I love this product! Like the pomegranate moisturizer, this one is very gentle and I can use it under my eyes. It also melts into the skin and leaves no residue behind. All in all, these are heavenly products for anyone with sensitive, aging skin.
I have been using Korres Mint Tea shower gel for about two years now and still love it. It does not dry out or irritate my sensitve skin, and the scent is wonderful year-round.
Mmmmmmmmm! I love this product! My only complaint is the HUGE bottle which barely fits in my shower, but that is how all Philosophy's shower gels are packaged. On the other hand, it's a pretty good value in my opinion. This scent is amazing. It is sweet and energizing at the same time. What a way to wake up in the morning!! :)
Oh, how I love this scent! It is similar to Fresh's Sugar spray, but sweeter and lovlier. I love to spray this on after showering with the Sweet Sugar shower gel and then slathering on the Sweet Sugar body cream. It's almost sinful! I get a lot of compliments on this, too. :)
This hand cream does not sink in for a long time, possibly an hour or so after I apply it, but in the morning my hands are heavenly soft. It softens my cuticles and hands very nicely. I do not keep it at the sink or in my purse... I use it only at night, last thing before I go to sleep. You would not want to use this and then read, for example, unless you want fingerprints all over your book! As far as the scent goes, I have never been bothered by the fragrance. Mine smells faintly floral. It must depend on the batch of hand cream, which is a bit odd. :)
Treatments (Eye) -Korres - Eye Bright Firming Eye Cream
jackieks 5/12/2005 1:15:00 PM
The Eye Bright Firming Eye Cream is a wonderful, basic eye cream. It is easily absorbed and makeup can applied over it without any problems. The price seemed a little steep at first, but the tube is really good-sized and this will last a long time.
Am I the only person who thinks this has the most overpowering, horrific "scent"? It does not smell like roses, but can't quite put my finger on what it does smell like. I'm not overly sensitive to scents, but this one really stinks. :) After application it takes about ten minutes for the scent to fade. After that, I like this a lot. The texture is terrific and it does a great job of moisturizing.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo & Shower Gel
jackieks 3/7/2005 4:06:00 PM
I just love this product. Like others have said, the scent lingers and lingers. I notice at the end of the day when I change out of my clothing, it smells lightly of Amazing Grace. The lasting quality amazes me! And the smell is just heavenly. I am not too impressed with it as a shampoo, but it works in a pinch. It's handy if you're overnighting it and don't want to take a bunch of products with you. I will buy this again. agian!
Lotions/ Creams -Fresh - Sugar Blossom Hand Treatment
jackieks 2/23/2005 1:20:00 PM
If you love the fresh scent of Sugar perfume, you'll also love the sweet scent of this hand cream. This melts right into the skin and does not leave any greasy residue. I do have a problem with this product: The PRICE! Give me a break! I can't justify spending this much for hand cream, no matter how sweet the smell.
