Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I tried this foundation a couple months ago and it looked terrible. I had tried it with moisturizer (jojoba oil), or primer, or both, with fingers, sponges, and a brush, and it sat on my skin in the oddest manner and made my pores into little white spots. I have been using it again for the past week, and I love it! I think this is due to two reasons. The first being that my skin has improved, and it is not as dry, flaky, and spots are fewer and smaller. The other reason being that I am using a moisturizer by L'Oreal that is very hydrating and sinks into my skin beautifully. It's called L'Oreal Nutrissime Reactivating Dry Skin Moisturizer for Dry and Sensitive skin. I apply a thin layer of the foundation with my fingers when my moisturizer is almost finished setting in (about 5-7 min after I apply it), and it gives nice medium coverage! It is very blendable. The neutral colours look rather natural, at least the lighter ones. There is a slight shimmer, but it just makes your face look pretty. I use L'Oreal True Match concealer in certain areas (not the best concealer, as the coverage is medium, and it isn't hardcore at lasting, but it looks very good on skin texture-wise and wears relatively well), and I put a light layer of setting powder on top. My t-zone gets pretty oily, but if I apply my makeup this way, it doesn't get oily until about 8 hours later, just dewy, when I am not rushing around, and about 4-5 hours when I am, at which point I will apply some pressed powder. Overall a very good makeup for natural-looking, light-medium coverage, if you're not looking for an intense long-lasting one! I may buy this product again, but seeing as it's summer, I am trying to see if I can get one that is good in really warm weather! I may buy this product again in the fall.

Mascara -NYX - Doll Eye Mascara - Volume

WTF. This mascara is very wet, and it did not separate my lashes or add volume to them. It made them long, but stuck together in odd groupings, like in the picture. I can't even believe how bad this mascara is.

Moisturizers -L'Oreal - Dermo-Expertise Nutrissime Reactivating Dry Skin Cream

Oh hello, absolutely amazing cream that only cost 16 dollars CAD, and turned the awful dry skin on my face of three years, into a smooth, hardly a flake canvas for foundation application, whereareas foundation on my face used to look awful despite the various moisturizers I have put on said face (jojoba oil was the most successful of the lot). And for all you sensitive-skinned lovelies who may have eczema or acne, well this cream did not irritate any of these skin problems either. Nope, it just made my skin lovely, and I hope the same for you!

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer

I really like this concealer. My skin is very pale, with yellow undertones (but my face has a lot of pink from acne and acne marks), and n 1-2-3 is perfect! It does slip a little under my eyes after a few hours, but I can fix it with a little blending very easily. It works great on my spots after foundation (Almay TLC in Buff, which is a little dark, or Emani Pressed Mineral in 290-Natural Sand, which is a little too pink) AND with some setting powder on top (Marcelle's loose powder in translucent). It lasts all day, and it doesn't come off unless I rub my face, which applies to all concealers, and even then, there's still some coverage. Even if I need to apply more, I can, as I find this concealer very buildable. I am not sure I have any problems with this concealer as of yet. EDIT: I am taking the packaging quality down to 2 stars, because PRODUCT SQUISHES OUT when you close the lid!

Concealers -Almay - Nearly Naked Cover Up Stick

It's okay. The colour (the lightest-100) was pretty good on my fair, yellow-toned skin. But it looks pretty obvious when you have it on, especially on uneven areas/ pores. Also, if you touch it when it's on your face, it will come off. So if you're willing to reapply throughout the day, and don't mind cakiness, go for it. It does seem to be a decent eyeshadow base though, but haven't tried that yet.

Excellent product! I always have a sweating problem, but this is the first product that completely worked for me! I wore this on a sports tournament; it was a mild but breezy day, however, I was kept completely dry! Not even at the end of the day was I perspiring in the least. I hope everyone will find success with this wonder.

Sunscreen -Aveeno - Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55

At first, I really liked this sunscreen. I thought it would be my HG. My face felt like I applied primer to it when I first put this sunscreen on. But the next day, I got a rash wherever the sunscreen was applied. I have used chemical sunscreens before and have never had this problem. I suggest to anyone with sensitive skin to first do a patch test, but the sunscreen will move with sweat anyways.
