Mascara -L'Oreal - Full Definition Voluminous

L'Oreal has the best mascaras! My HG was Lashout, until yesterday! I decided to try Full Definition Voluminous because my last Lashout tube was flaking more than usual and I wanted to try something new. I LOVE the fat brush! It makes it easier and quicker to get a lot of product on the lashes. I have to admit that I really like to "glob it on" as Tammy Faye said. I have thick lashes and dark eyes- so I need a lot of mascara to make a difference in how my eyes naturally look. This makes me look like I'm wearing falsies- which is the look I'm after. Also, I wore this through 30 minutes of yoga AND 60 minutes of a super sweaty kick-boxing class without a smudge, flake, or smear. As of right now, I will purchase again and again!

I really like this product, but its definitely weird. It comes out of the can oddly, not exactly a spray, not exactly a mousse. I can't believe they pretend it could take the place of a flat iron, but used in conjuction with a flat iron, its great. I love the green apple-y smell. It makes my hair kind of stiffly straight, but that's not necessarily a bad thing either- like I said its weird, but I like it.

Conditioner -Terax - Crema

My HG conditioner for sure!! I have been using this for years. I LOVE the smell, the quirky packaging, and everything about it. I only need to use a tiny blob and it easily spreads through my thick hair. One tube lasts for months- so the price is totally justified. I color my hair regularly and heat style it almost everyday. Terax Crema keeps it feeling totally healthy! I don't think I will ever switch brands.

Shampoo -Suave - Daily Clarifying Shampoo

I workout a lot so I have to wash my fine, but thick and wavy hair everyday. I use Dove Intense Moisture most days and then I use the Sauve once a week or so when I feel like I really need to clean my hair. It gets your hair squeaky-clean, which isn't a good thing daily, but sometimes I just feel like I need to get REALLY clean. And, since its only 99 cents, I can justify spending 20 Bucks on my HG conditioner- Terax Crema!

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

I am SO glad to see that there are hundreds of other gals out there that don't get the hype of this horrid stuff. It is THE worst mascara- and I have tried them all! Even Wet 'n Wild, 99 cent mascara is a thousand times better. Great Lash doesn't build (even if you apply, like, 12 coats), totally clumps, and smudges like crazy. Anyone, especially all these magazine beauty editors and makeup artists that think this stuff is "great" must be detached from reality or getting a spiff from Maybelline.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Breathless

I'm not a huge fan of perfumes- I generally prefer essential oils- but I LOVE this scent. I like to wear it layered with Fresh Vanilla from BBW. My only qualm is that is doesn't have a lot of staying power. I hope VS never discontinues this scent. I once read an interview with the president of their cosmetics line and she said Breathless was her favorite VS fragrance- so maybe that will keep it around...

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Out

I have been using Lash Out for years. I keep trying other more expensive brands because I'm a sucker for a pretty package- but I NEVER find anything that works better. It never smudges, does a good job of lengthening and thickening, removes easily with my regular face wash... I need to quit wasting money on higher end brands and stay true to Lash Out!!
