Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Juice Stick- Chai Love You [DISCONTINUED]

I LOVE this stuff! If it had SPF, I'd wear it exclusively. I've gotten quite a few of the colors, and Chai Love You lives in my purse full time since I use it so much. Totally MLBB nude. I like the smell - kind of like pink lemonade - and the texture is fantastic - between a balm and a gloss, but not sticky. I love how sheer it goes on, but can be layered for a stronger color.
When I wipe the brush, it definitely separates and lengthens, without any volume or curl additions. The separation and lengthening are enough for me to be sold, though! It gives me a natural, my-lashes-but-better look. When the brush is used as-is from the container, it goes on dramatic and thick, giving me the lengthening and volume. Fantastic stuff! It did melt on me during the heat wave, but what does one expect in 100 degree weather?
Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Metal Eyelash Comb

Fantastic! This comb does what an eyelash comb is supposed to do, but does it superbly. I love that it folds up so it stores neatly, and that it does such a fantastic job of keeping my lashes clump free. Since I haven't found a HG, clump free mascara, I'm pleased to have found this to make my lashes lovely.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Schick Intuition razor

My HG! I love this - one step and done. My legs feel smooth and happy, I don't knick myself like I do with just about every other razor I've tried, and I don't have to fuss with lather in the shower. I always lost half down the drain before getting a good chance to shave. It cut my shaving time by a third at least. Love it!
Skincare - Face -Olay - Total Effects 7 signs Serum
j7muse 7/7/2006 4:07:00 PM
I just got this, so my opinion may change, but so far it's great. I love how smooth my skin felt after applying the serum this morning. My makeup glided on perfectly over it.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Roller Color loose powder eyeshadow
j7muse 7/6/2006 7:55:00 PM
This stuff is awful! The packaging is gimmicky, but I bought it off the clearance rack for $1.50 and figured I'd give it a try. The color is not pigmented enough so it hardly shows up on my eyes at all, and I don't wear bright colors so I wasn't asking a lot of it! I thought maybe the roller was stuck so I rolled it over paper. The color showed up streaky, but there. After rolling and rolling over my eyes, there was a sheer layer of uneven color, and when I ran my finger over it to even it out, it was even more sheer. It didn't last anytime at all. Skip this one.
Treatments -Alpha Hydrox - AHA Souffle 12 percent Glycolic AHA

I have been using this for about two weeks and have noticed that my skin feels smoother and more refined, and I love the consistency. I use it at night before moisturizing, and will continue to use it as a staple in the foreseeable future.
Mascara -Revlon - Colorstay lash tint [DISCONTINUED]

I'm surprised by all the poor ratings for this product! I've been using it and loving it. I'm not expecting mascara's volume, lengthening, thickening, etc. from it, so perhaps that's what other people want and are disappointed at not finding in this product. Instead, I wanted just a little bit of color on my lashes on days where I'm not wearing much makeup, especially color that wasn't going to melt off and make me look like a racoon. This fits the bill exactly. I use the wand from Cover Girl's Lash Exact, dip it in the tube and wipe off almost all the liquid from the wand, then apply. It comes out smooth, even, and just enough color, and I don't have to think about it. I don't go to any extra lengths to remove it, just wait for it to wear off on its own. I took off a lippie for the packaging, since the round container is a PITA to work with - you can't set it down on the counter.
This is my HG. I've been struggling to find a shampoo that would leave my hair clean and soft, and after going through quite a few more expensive options(Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Biosilk, Pantene, Dove, all not great on my hair), I've come to the conclusion that this does the job as well if not better than anything else I've tried. I usually use a bottle of something and then switch to something else, or have two or three different bottles in the shower. This is the first one that I've replaced more than once and it's now the only thing I'm using.
Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects Night Firming Cream
j7muse 7/5/2006 2:41:00 PM
I've been using this for about a month, and while I don't see a huge improvement in my skin, it does feel smoother. Fine lines haven't diminished. Like an earlier reviewer, it's not quite hydrating enough for my dry skin and I add a layer of Cetaphil over it on my forehead and cheeks or they'll itch when I'm going to sleep - I'm just super dry.
Concealers -Revlon - ColorStay Under Eye Concealer
j7muse 7/5/2006 2:01:00 AM
Yuck! I tried this today and by the end of the day, it was all caked into my fine lines, making them look more accentuated than had I avoided concealer altogether. The twist-up applicator put too much on, but I couldn't easily get the product out with another method (brush). I'm disappointed since I have hereditary dark circles and would love something to make them appear lighter, but this ain't it!!
I have this in Hipster and like the sheer color on me. It's MLBB, and not too sticky or shimmery. Nice when I want a step up from naked face.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser
j7muse 7/1/2006 1:23:00 AM
I've been using this for about three weeks now and love it. I have dry skin that gets blackheads frequently on my chin, nose, and forehead. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean, has cleared up many of the blackheads, and I haven't had any major breakouts since starting it. I can't tell if the anti-wrinkle portion is working yet, but I'm continuing to use it if only for the anti-blemish portion.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Active Light Makeup SPF 25 ] [DISCONTINUED]
j7muse 7/1/2006 1:17:00 AM
I think I've found my HG. This is just enough coverage that I don't feel bare, and lasts all day, even with sweating in the summer heat and playing with my baby, who grabs at my face constantly. I've worn this for over 12 hours a few days in a row and no break-outs, no dull patches or redness, and it still looks fine when I take it off at the end of the day. I love that it has SPF in it. I bought it at Walgreens on a 40% off sale, making it under $8.
Liquid -Almay - Almay Amazing Lasting Foundation ] [DISCONTINUED]

You can find it at www.cosmeticsandmore.com. I wore it on my wedding and it stayed put all day long, even through crying, eating, and sweating (while dancing the night away!)
