This is an awful product. It made my nails peel, something which I have never experienced before! It didn't make my manicure last any longer than normal and additionally... it caused bubbles! I hate bubbles! It also was somewhat pricey. I really dislike this product, I do not think I will use it ever again. Even the cheap as chips BYS base coat works better.
I have this in sunshower, a peachy/orangey colour. I really like the texture of this product, it feels so smooth and moist and it applies so smoothly. I use my fingers to apply it, it is a great product to use when you are feeling lazy and don't want to get out the brushes and palettes. A light wash of this across the lids with nothing else looks fine. It lasts on me all day, however, it does tend to crease slightly but even then it doesn't look as creasing normally does. It is also easily fixed with a semi-decent eye primer. It is quite shimmery, but not gritty and has decent pigmentation. I find myself reaching for this product quite often and am really fond of it. I am not sure if I would repurchase it though, as I have a feeling that there may be better cream shadows out there. I guess we will wait and see. I do think it costs more than it is worth though, at least where I live.
Blush -Unlisted Brand - Majolica Majorca - Crème de Cheek

I absolutely love this blush! First of all, the little bottle it comes in looks so elegant and adorable! I have this in the colour custard cream, which is a peachy orange colour. It is the colour I have been looking for, for ages in a cream/liquid blush. Although, despite being called a cream blush, it actually has a liquid texture. It is very pigmented and depending on what you want, can be easily blended out to be more sheer as well as can be built up to create a strong colour. It dries down to a satin/skin like finish and does not look like blush sitting on top of your skin and you can touch it and it won't feel greasy or sticky. It also lasted on me for pretty much the whole day, fading only slightly, which surprised me. For me, it creates a beautiful and natural glow. The finish is very clean and it looks less 'harsh' compared to other powder blushers I have tried, if that makes any sense at all. I really love this. The only thing is that even though it is pigmented, I don't know if it would show up well on dark skin tones.
I normally dislike nude lipsticks but Nude Delight is gorgeous! It doesn't make you look dead and has a slight apricot/peachy tone to it. Saying that, it is still a nude! It isn't overly moisturising but it isn't drying either. Saying that, I wouldn't see that as a con, because it is very rare to find a lipstick that actually 'hydrates'. It will highlight dryness but nudes will do that anyway, regardless of the shade. It has a slight floral scent which I don't mind too much but what really bugs me is the chemical taste! It is quite nasty. It is such a shame because I do really like this shade. As someone said below, it does transfer quite easily and I find wear time to not be that great. Although, drugstore lips in general don't tend to wear too well. The price is good though so I don't mind reapplying this. I will buy this again because I really love the colour however I am on the lookout to find a better product. This product has made me realise nudes are not all evil and I would love to find a product in a similar shade, with a better formula that doesn't taste so awful and is hopefully more pigmented, smoother and longer wearing. I would recommend it though. Using a lip liner over the lips also helps to prevent the formula from getting into your mouth!
Lipstick -NYX - Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie #630

Unforutunately, I was very disappointed with this product. First, the colour was not what I thought it would be. It looks orangey in the tube but applies more pinky beige on my lips. The colour does not suit me at all. It isn't very pigmented either, it requires a few layers to get decent colour payoff. The formula is very creamy and moisturising when you apply it, although shortly after it begins to sink badly into lip lines and highlights any dryness. It does not last long at all either. The taste, is also pretty horrid. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than a lipstick you can taste. This one, really does taste of soap! I wasn't expecting anything too amazing for the price, but I was really hopeful that it would be a nice cheap product, judging from the reviews. I honestly don't think I could recommend this product. However, it seems like others really like NYX round lipticks and this particular shade. I don't think you have anything to lose by trying it given that it is so cheap.
This is definitely the best lipstick formula I have experienced. Yes, it is expensive and yes, it can be hard to locate. It is worth it though. I find that after using this lipstick, I find it hard to use cheaper brands afterwards. This lipstick applies so smoothly, it is like it melts into water on your lips. However, it isn't so creamy that it becomes messy. It actually feels weightless on the lips, and it is only after using this one that I realise how much other lippies actually tug on my lips during application. It is also scentless and tasteless. It is also probably the most pigmented lipstick I own, although I wouldn't say full coverage, more medium-full. It is not shimmery, but gives your lips a slightly shiny, plump and healthy look. I think it is a given that you don't apply lipstick when your lips aren't in prime condition, although I use this even when my lips are not perfect (given they aren't obviously flaky) and it smoothes over any dryness and you cannot even tell my lips are dry! My lips are naturally dry so it is nice to have a lipstick that I can apply whenever without having to go through exfoliating hassles. It glides over lip lines and flakes, disguising them! I hate when colour settles into the lines! Of course, it is not a lip balm but I would say this is the most hydrating lipstick I own, as far as lipsticks go. What else... this is also the longest wearing lipstick I own. Saying that, it isn't terribly long lasting it is just that most lipsticks do tend to disappear very quickly and as soon as you have a drink but thankfully this one can survive a drink and lasts a few hours and leaves a stain, given you haven't had a meal. I have it in Urumishu which I believe is one of the lighter colours, so a darker shade may leave more of a stain. I'm not saying this is the only good lipstick out there, but if you want to treat yourself to something special.. go for it! The main con is that there aren't many 'fun' colours, but that is to be expected from a brand that targets more mature women.
Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme

I'm a bit surprised at all the negativity towards this product! I personally love it! It smells amazing! It's a natural scent so it's usable for those with sensitive skin like me, it doesn't irritate at all. It is quite a rich, heavy and moisturising hand cream and I'd only really recommend it for people with dry skin. For my hands, which get easily dry and cracked.. This is a godsend! You also only need the 'tiniest' bit. I think people may be using too much. When using this amount, I find that it absorbs pretty quickly and with only the slightest greasy feeling. To be honest, any hand cream this moisturising is going to have some greasy feel to it. I find it really difficult to find a hand cream that moisturises my hands sufficiently, even though most suit others fine. I think the price is good value too for a product that has natural ingredients and the product should last a really long time, I just hope it doesn't go off too quick. I'm taking off one lippy because I wish it would be a little easier to spread, but I guess that is due to it's texture. I usually rub it in together with a cheap, less moisturising hand cream to help it spread easier. That step may bother others but I really don't mind.
Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Maquillage - Essence Glamorous Rouge

This is a liquid lipstick that comes in very pretty packaging! The applicator is very easy to use as well. If you are looking for a lipstick that is highly pigmented look elsewhere. The colours in this line are fairly natural. The finish leaves the lips looking beautiful, shiny and plump. The shine isn't overkill either, usually I can't stand lip glosses for their shine. This is nice though. I have this product in tint coral, which I think may be the sheerest colour. It is a pale slightly pinkish orange. The finish is slightly sticky, but nothing too bad and to be expected. It isn't an extremely moisturising product however it does not dry them out at all, is comfortable and fades evenly. What I love about this product, is that it makes my thin lips looks very juicy and full! It doesn't have a tingy plumping effect but there is something in its 'silicon gel' formula that makes the lips look fuller. It also does help reduce the appearance of vertical lines. The product still remains very natural. Not for dramatic looks. I won't repurchase, as I would rather spend my $$ on more pigmented and longer lasting lippies. This is still a lovely product though.
I'm not the biggest fan of Lush, however I really like this product. It's a bit hard to spread but what I do is scrape some out into a bowl and mix in the tiniest bit of boiling water to soften it up. This makes it so much more easier to spread! This is amazing during the summer! After a sticky, sweat day this really makes your face feel clean. I love the mint choc chip ice cream smell! I'm not actually a mint fan but this is refreshing and cooling without stinging. One thing to keep in mind for those with dry skin is that once it dries it feels quite tight and a bit uncomfortable. You don't have it on your face too long though so it is bearable. This doesn't really make pimples disappear or do anything magical, but I feel like it helps clear up my pores a bit and provides a deep clean and exfoliation. Because my skin is sensitive I cleanse my face with very gentle products and this mask sort of renews my face and gives that deep clean. I only use it once every 1-2 weeks. I know there is an expiry date but I usually keep it longer than that anyway... and it's usually fine. Will repurchase.
I have this in shiny apricot. First of all, these lipsticks are not that pigmented and do not last very long. However, if you read the product description, you can figure out pretty soon that that they aren't meant to anyway. Lipsticks often claim to be moisturising but they usually aren't anywhere near as moisturising as claimed. You don't need to apply a lip balm before these, and you do not need an mirror to apply either. It goes on smoothly without any tugging and while the colour is sheer, it is also buildable. I love how they feel and they have a nice shiny look without looking like lipgloss, which I hate. I don't keep track of how long it lasts on the lips, although I know it isn't too long and you will need to reapply after eating or drinking but this is expected due to it's formula. They are also fairly shimmery, but not frosty and there is no chunky glitter. The shimmer is pretty and not over the top. The shade shiny apricot is quite pretty, swatches on the hand as a pretty apricot and appears a bit more red on the lips. Initially I was a bit disappointed at how red it appeared on the lips, but have now come to really love it! It isn't as red as I first thought, it looks like a subtle reddish, apricot orange, which isn't too extreme and wearable for every day in my opinion. Overall, I really like this! and would love to try it in other colours, sheer papaya, sandalwood beige and pretty peach! If you like matte, pigmented and lasting colors, stay away. While I would like to buy these again, the price (in Australia) is ridiculous.. and I would only buy if on sale or if the boyfriend is willing to buy me a little gift :)
Toners -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid
izumilove 1/22/2013 8:24:00 PM
First of all, I just want to say that this isn't a bad product. I just dont find it to be that amazing either. It does it's job as a basic lotion and preps the skin for serum, cream etc. and has moisturising properties. I won't be buying it again as you can get nicer lotions that are even more moisturising and appropriate for my dry skin and are more economical. I do like the packaging and how it dispenses liquid and I like the consistensy. It is easy to apply and spread too. Hyaluronic acid products do work best in humid environments and I do live in a dry environment.. So it may work better depending on your location. I recommend it if you are just stepping into the world of Japanese lotions or want something basic.
I found the product to be way too hard! I really had to press it to get it to come off onto my brows and it pulled off my eyebrow hairs! Once on, it lasts quite long and looks good enough but is just too much effort to apply! I prefer the Majolica Majorca one, which has a longer stick, is easier to use and more soft.
A really nice colour! Most lipgloss are way too sheer! But I love how this actually gives my lips a beautiful, feminine, pink colour! It lasts decent enough for a lipgloss. It is also really cheap! The smell is a bit unpleasant but it won't last after applying! Slightly sticky but not that bad as far as lipgloss goes! Definitely buy again.
This is probably my most favourite shade ever! It's a flattering, neutral brown with gold shimmer that just looks extraordinarily pretty! Maybe not the colour you could wear on a night out, not bold enough, but a shade I can wear daily. It is a pretty shimmer, not chunky and nauseating and I get compliments when wearing it. With a good eye primer it wears well. Yes the packaging is annoying, but it is so cheap! Love it.
BB Cream -BRTC - Jasmine Water BB Cream SPF 30 PA++
izumilove 11/16/2012 4:37:00 AM
This product is advertised as providing both moisture replenishment and oil control.. I need moisture, not oil control, but I didn't find this very moisturising at all. It highlighted dry patches pretty bad and made my skin look flaky and dry. This does have a nice whitening/brightening effect if you are into that, but it almost looked a little pasty on me. The smell is really nice, I love jasmine tea! The finish is slightly sticky, but a lot of BB creams and foundations are like that. It is easier to blend then some other BB creams, such as the BRTC gold caviar. Lasting power was decent, not amazing. I can't speak for oil control at all as I have really dry skin. I didn't really like the product but I didn't hate it either, it isn't bad. It might work better on someone else who has less dry skin. I ended up giving it to my sister however she found it quite drying too. If you have dry skin I recommend the gold caviar one instead.
