I got this eyeliner from I believe the Birchbox. Honestly, I was a little excited since it said smudgeproof. I was disappointed it wasn't waterproof but it didn't bother me too much. The first time I used it, I used it for my top lids. Later after a few hours into the day, I noticed it smudge off. I was very disappointed that it said "smudgeproof" when in fact, it was not. I don't know if it's because I didn't make thick lines but regardless, it should be smudgeproof. I will probably update this review later in the future to note any changes.
I got this lip gloss in a glambag. I tried it the first time I got it & I thought I was having an allergic reaction to it since my lips felt all tingly & stuff. My friend later told me that's what the lip gloss is supposed to do so then I applied it one day & I loved how my lips looked. It made my lips look nice & full & since I'm not crazy about bright colors or too dark colors, this one was perfect for me. I ended up going out to Sephora to buy a larger sized version.
I got this product in a glambag a while ago. I never bothered using moisturizers since my face was never really dry. I decided to try it out one day when I had used hot water to wash my face. At first, I didn't like the texture but then after a while, my face felt super smooth. I liked it a lot. It didn't make my face feel sticky or anything & it smelled really nice too. I'm waiting to settle down into my new room before ordering a jar of this stuff.
Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray

I love love love this heat tamer spray. Not only does it smell AMAZING, it works pretty well too. I spray it in my hair before I blow dry it if it's taking too long to air dry. At first, I had a bit of difficulty trying to get it to spray cause there's a little lock thing right by the handle & you have to turn it either to the right of the left to unlock it. I think it's a good idea but they should've warned you about it before you try spraying it. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.
Styling Products -TRESemme - Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray

I saw the reviews for this & I decided to go out & try it. I tried it out a few days ago & I'm very satisfied with this purchase. At first when I sprayed it, it came out pretty strong & I was surprised. It took a few sprays to get my bangs to stay in it's position or at least try to stay. I had it on the whole day & there was no flaking. My hair stayed where I wanted it to be & I was still able to run my fingers through it. I even used it this morning but I wasn't happy about how my bangs ended up looking so I took my brush & ran it through some water before running it through my bangs. Even though I got most of the hair spray out of my bangs, they still managed to stay in somewhat of the position that I had it in when I sprayed it with the hair spray. This is the best hairspray I've ever tried & I freaking love it.My hair was a bit crunchy but it wasn't bad, not like when you use Garnier hair spray.& it doesn't smell bad either.
I needed a concealer for my dark "circles" (they're more like streaks) under my eyes & so I heard that this has some good reviews so I thought I'd try it. I bought two, one in Ivory & the other in Nude Chair. Nude chair was waaaaaay too light. It showed my dark "circles" more than it had covered it & the Ivory wasn't as bad but it was still very noticeable. I was very disappointed in how much it stood out. Maybe I just need to get a darker color but seeing how many people get a shade lighter, I thought that was what I was supposed to do. Maybe not. Maybe I'll get a shade darker & my review will change. The packaging sucks though. It took me almost like 30 clicks for the first one to get anything out. I noticed though in the second one I tried, there was a gap where I can see inside the tube & there was like NO product there. I kept twisting it until the product covered up the clearing but I really don't like that I had to click it what seemed like a bajillion times before anything even came out.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STUFF! I use it almost every night before I go to sleep. I usually use hot water with the detox scrub & cold water with the 4--in-1 foaming cleanser. Afterwards, my face feels so clean & smooth. I go to sleep knowing my face isn't oily & it makes me happy. I'm upset Rite Aid stopped carrying it. I haven't been able to find it in a long long time.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEE this stuff! I went to the city with my best friend because she's really into bath stuff & I decided to tag along with her. At first, I wasn't really too crazy about anything in the store but then I noticed some of the lip scrubs & lip gloss stuff at the front counter. One of the associates let me sample the scrub & I stupidly chose Chocolate(which wasn't that great). My lips felt super soft. I was amazed. I kept debating on whether or not I should buy it but then which one would I choose. The mint smelled really bad & the chocolate wasn't that great, & the bubblegum one smelled really strong. I ended up getting the bubblegum one & I do not regret buying it. You only need a small pinch of the scrub to rub on your lips & your lips will be smooth. The taste of the bubblegum scrub isn't that bad either. The tiny jar should last me a looong time considering the small amount one would need to exfoliate your lips.
A friend of mine had told me that Sephora wasn't going to be selling anymore Tokidoki products so I jumped on their website the moment she told me & I found this mascara. I love my Maybelline Full n' Soft mascara but I was willing to try this one out since it was on sale for a great price & it didn't seem to look that bad. I tried it out one day & it wasn't all that bad. It didn't flake, no clumps, & it lengthened my eyelashes. Didn't really notice the volume the times I've used it but I like it a lot. I switch in between my Tokidoki one & the Maybelline. The packaging isn't all that bad either. It's pretty cute. A bit strange since I don't really notice any square shaped mascara bottles. I don't regret this purchase :D
Eyeliner -Stila - Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

A friend of mine let me try this eyeliner, commenting on how she wasn't too crazy about it. I liked it at first but then after purchasing my own, a few hours after application, the eyeliner would crack and fade off. I had to fix my eyeliner every few hours. At first after application, it's really liquid-y but after a few minutes, it dries off and looks nice. After a few hours, it doesn't look too great. I still use it. I think I'm going to have to try some primer on the next time I use it, hopefully it'll make it stay on better or something.
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

I love this little bottle of primer. It blends in very well with my skin tone & holds my eyeshadow on for the whole day. It goes on smoothly. I barely use a drop of it for each eyelid & I feel it can last me for a loooooong time. Not too expensive & it isn't really all that difficult to get the product out of the packaging. My eyeshadow doesn't crease throughout the day & I like that!
Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'n' Soft waterproof mascara (vitamin E)

I was looking for a mascara that wouldn't flake on me & wouldn't separate my eyelashes into sections. I asked people which brand they would recommend & looked up the most top rated mascara on MUA. This one fit the description. I tried it & I really liked it a lot. It doesn't harden my eyelashes & doesn't really flake too much. The brush doesn't clump at all & it has soft bristles.
A friend of mine had recommended this eyeliner for me when I told her I was looking for a liquid eyeliner. At first, I loved this eyeliner. I used this for the longest time until another friend recommended me Kat Von D Tattoo eyeliner. This eyeliner wipes off pretty easily & quickly too. It's an okay eyeliner if you're looking for a inexpensive everyday eyeliner.
I've been looking for a liquid eyeliner that wouldn't smudge for the longest time. I asked my friend what eyeliner she used since her's never smudged or anything. She told me this was the one & the moment I used it, I loved it. I tend to try not to make my lines thick but by the end of the day if I make it thin, it'll be half gone. It's kind of upsetting but I still love the eyeliner. A bit pricey for eyeliner in my opinion but I think it's worth it. I bought it in Trooper which is pretty much a jet black color & I LOVE it.
Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
ixchopsticks 1/29/2012 12:57:00 AM
I was in desperate need of a new eye make up remover since the one I bought wasn't taking off my Maybelline full n' soft. I was looking around in Target for a makeup remover that would work with me but I was pretty skeptical about this one after reading the most helpful reviews. I still ended up buying it since it had a pretty high rating. The one thing that I hate is that it wasn't "oil free" like it said. You can OBVIOUSLY see the oil above the water. Anyways, after using it for the first time, my eye sight got a little blurred but it wasn't too bad. It was a good thing I took my contacts off beforehand though. Anyways, after washing off the remover solution, my eyelids were pretty soft and it took about two washes with just water and my face towel. I thought it didn't work too well at first since I kept wiping my eyelashes to get the mascara off and nothing was getting on the cottonball. After a few more wipes, it started to come off. I didn't use too much solution though since I didn't want to get it in my eye(even though I did anyways). Overall, it's an okay makeup remover. Just be careful and try not to get it in your eyes!
