Shampoo -Kiehls - Olive Fruit Oil Shampoo

I came across this shampoo as Kiehls does good decent travel size products. I have dry and fizzy hair. After a week of using it, my hair becomes softer and smoother. However, lack of shine. I'm now 2 months in with the shampoo and my hair is pretty much still dry. It's a pretty average shampoo and don't see much help on dry and damaged hair.

I've been using this over a week and turns out really good. My face is more brighten and radiant. Can't tell whether it reduces any dark spots as yet. The texture is like clear runny gel. It's easily absorb to the skin. No strong fragance.

Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

I was keen on getting a cleansing brush from all the raves. It was too expensive to get a clarisonic incase it didn't work on me. So I gave Olay a try and turns out really good. I've use this every night with my Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for the last 5 months. I've found the pores around my nose area are less clogged. I had no pimples/ acne ever since I've used the brush. Previously, I get occasionally spots. So this really cleans out my skin. My skin texture is alot smoother and brighter. People are around me are complementing how good my skin and asking me the secret behind it. Highly recommend to everyone including those with sensitive skin like myself.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios Xl SPF 50+ Fluide Extreme (for face)

This sunscreen was recommended by my dermatologist so first thing in my mind is this thing must be good. I’ve been using this over the week and turn out to be a disappointment. Noticed there are tiny red spots on my cheek area during the day. As soon as I wash it off in the evening, my face looks fine. So it must be the sunscreen since I haven’t tried any other new product. The texture is white milky lotion which is similar to most Japanese sunscreen. It doesn't leave any white cast on face like other reviewers. However, it's a little oiler than my previous sunscreen, Anessa.

Toners -Vichy - Purete Thermal Hydra-Perfecting Toner

I didn't like this at all. The toner smells like artificial (perhaps I'm used to natural product in the recent years). At same time, it caused mild irritation to my skin as I see tiny red spots all over my cheek.
Didn't think this toner did anything to my skin. At the same time, I’ve found most Vicky product had let me down.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I was prescribed to this cleanser by my dermatologist as I had a serve skin allergies couple month back. It’s a very gentle cleanser which keeps my skin clean without the tighten affect i.e. not stripping the natural oil while balance your skin.
However, this cleanser cannot remove any sort of makeup. I didn’t expect it to remove any mascara or eye shadow but was hoping it can remove some loose powder.
The texture is like lotion and doesn’t foam up. I quite like the after feeling as it leaves my skin smooth and supply.

It took me a long time to decide on purchasing this product. I've heard so many good thing about it but wasn't sure if really suits my sensitive skin type. However, the blackheads on my nose are driving me crazy so I gave it a try. Phew, it works great on my skin. I've started by using it all over my face. As my skin got smoother and better, I now just use it on my t-zone to clear out blackheads and dead skins around my nose. Also, I've found stubborn blackheads are easier to extract. I've just finished my first bottle and is ready for my second one. Highly recommend to those suffered with stubborn blackheads.

I've used this over 2 weeks and is doing nothing to my skin. My pores and skin texture are exactly the same. I don't feel any dryness nor any changes.

Moisturizers -Decleor - Hydra Floral Hydrating Comfort Cream

I was using this over summer time in Australia, however I’ve found it too light. I felt tightness on my face after a couple days of use and this is coming from a combination skin type. So I was disappointed. I switched to Kiehls immediately and problem was solved. I’ve never felt tightness with so many moisturizers that I’ve used. This might be more suitable to oily skin type.

Moisturizers -Trilogy - Vital Moisturiser

I’ve started on my second jar. It’s a great moisturises throughout all seasons. Initially, I was frighten with break out as I’m used to lotion texture, however this cream works well on my combination skin. Texture is somewhere between a lotion and cream. It doesn’t cause any oiliness over summer time. My skin is more smoother and softer. Love to repurchase this again.

With rave of Genifique, I’ve decided to give it a try. I’ve used this over 2 weeks, I see improvement but there wasn’t a wow factor. Yes, I see my skin texture is smoother, more radiant. Are there more suppose to happened to my skin? The texture is very light and was easily absorb on my combination skin.

We all know GA does well in makeup products but they do just as well in skincare. It is my first skincare purchase from GA, previously I’ve used their skincare products at their shop from my makeover and found their skincare range was quite good. So I’ve decided to try this eye serum as my eyes do need extra care from aging. The eye serum does exactly as per the website, eliminate eye bags (puffiness) and improve eye contour area. So far, I have no sign of lines so I can’t really test how that goes. I often have eye bags due to lack of sleep, stress and poor blood circulation. I must say, since I’ve used this product, I haven’t seen a sign of puffiness even in those super tired days. I was amazed with the result. There was no change on my eye cream so I’m pretty sure is this serum. In terms of dark circle, I see improvement too, my panda eyes are not as dark comparing to few months ago. Highly recommend to those suffer with puffy eyes.

Moisturizers -Jurlique - Balancing Day Care Cream

I had always stay away from cream texture as always found them thick and hard to apply. Also, I have combination skin so lotion is much more prefer. Anyhow, I was trying this during the Autumn time. The cream is thick but was easily absorb to the skin. Also, it's not a rich cream so it works great on my skin. My skin stay fresh all day long including my t-zone. Prefect moisturizer for Autumn/Winter. So far, Jurlique had never let me down.

I was using this over the summer break and found this excellent on my combination skin. It calms your skin while maintain the moisture level. It's a very light texture so it makes it very easy to absorb to the skin. Usually, I get a little oily on my t-zone in the afternoon but this lotion had kept it away and leaving my skin matte all day long. I would think this is not suitable for dry Winter time as it's too light. Also, just wish the product is more affordable.

Treatments (Eye) -Neostrata - Bionic Eye Cream

I've been using Neostrata Gel Plus and loving it, so I was looking for other Neostrata product and found this Bionic Eye Cream. After 10 days usage, it turns out to the worst disaster. I was seriously allergic to this due to Vitamin K. My eyes were swollen like a size of table tennis ball. It was awful and a huge medical bills to pay. The funny thing this allergies didn't start till 10 days later as my dermatologist said, the acid/vitamin K accumulate to a point when my skin cannot tolerate and explode. It's an awful experience.
