Liquid -Clinique - Even Better Makeup SPF 15

Those of you who loved Clinique's Superfit (which is now discontinued) are going to love this one. I used Superfit religiously for years and years. It was devastating to learn that they discontinued it. Ever since, I have purchased wayyy too many foundations, from lancome, to estee lauder, to chanel, to giorgio armani and so on, hoping they would be as perfect as superfit was... but I HAD to compare every foundation I tried to my beloved superfit, and I always came to the conclusion that I needed to continue my search. I even tried clinique's superbalanced and anti-blemish solution which made me give up on clinique foundations all in all. Honestly, I cannot believe I waited until very recently to try EB. I wish I had tried it before. EB is officially my new HG foundation. I have occasional acne, and dark spots that are so stubborn. This foundation gives the perfect perfect coverage and is dewy the way I like a foundation to be. It makes my face glow, just like superfit did (well, almost) and I'm super happy to have found a foundation that makes me happy again. No more applying foundation in the morning and asking myself "what the hell is wrong with my skin?!"

Eyeliner -MAC - Superslick Liquid Liner

I hate this stuff. The texture is very thick and runny, and when the eyeliner dries it becomes flaky. The brush isn't the best either. When I use make up remover I need to scrub my eyes to remove the chunks and clumps of dry eyeliner. I really don't recommend this product. I regret having bought it, teaches me to stick to my good old l'Oreal super liner.

very ambery, smells like summer night strolls through daffodil gardens. but this fragrance, like most tom ford fragrances, doesn't last at all. too bad!

Best thing ever!!!! I now keep my foundation for special occasions, and use this for everyday purposes, I think it gives a very natural, dewy look and this is exactly what I my skin to look like in daylight. i put it on and top it up with loose powder and a little bit of blush. the results are amazing. this bb creme gives just the right coverage for a polished, everyday look ! EDIT: MAJORRRRR EDIT. Unfortunately, it does oxidise alooooot and makes my skin break out terribly. I cannot keep on using it. I've notice my skin becoming terrible and I'm hating that fact, espcially that I've spent months religiously maintaining my skin in order to make dark spots and scarce acne spots completely disappear.

Fragrances -Guerlain - La Petite Robe Noire

I'm in love with this perfume. It is the mature kind of sweet/fruity/amber-y, so it remains sophisticated. For the record, I am usually never into the nauseating sugary, fruity, synthetic smelling fragrances. This one is an unusual scent, it really smells frisky and sweet but in a refined, mature way. My long, exhausting hunt for my next signature perfume stops here.

Mascara -Bourjois - Effet Liner Mascara

Not bad for everyday use. Nothing spectacular. It only separates and lengthens the lashes. Easy and pleasant to apply. Doesn't clump or smudge. It also holds the curl quite well. Guess it's an okay mascara but I will not be using it often.

Mascara -Clarins - Wonder Perfect mascara

Didn't like it. I decided to give up on it after having used it several times. It is very difficult to apply (the wand isn't practical and i'm not the type to spend so much time on applying my mascara), the result is just blah. If I apply more than one coat, it becomes a disaster: I only end up having extremely clumpy, spidery lashes. It does give a little bit of volume but no length whatsoever. There are much better mascaras out there, that's for sure.

A beautiful vibrant red that brightens up the face and gives an edge to any outfit. Perfect with foundation, liquid liner and mascara. This lipstick will do the rest of the job. love it! I also love its texture and staying power. No need to touch up often with this one.

Amazing product. Brightens and lightens the skin, helps fade acne scars and eases down redness. A face mask that has become a staple item in my skincare closet.

Treatments -Shiseido - Pureness Blemish Clearing Gel

I love this, it is make up friendly, and the skin absorbs it really quickly, so I can apply as many touch ups throughout the day over my make up. It is not too harsh yet it does the trick. it dries out my acne quicker than many other thick, harsh pharmacy products. Cannot go without it. Edit: I am on my third tube. It really works like a dream.

Concealers -Tom Ford - Illuminating Highlight Pen

I don't know about the rest of the shades they have, but the one I got is in 01 Citrine, and it works great with a tan during the summer for an additional glow. I apply this in very small amounts on top of my foundation, on my cheeks, around my brows and lip areas. Has a lovely illuminating effect. I prefer it over YSL touche éclat by far, because this one is sheer and lighter over your make up.

I've been on a hunt for a "signature" perfume ever since i stopped using Lalique's Amethyst years ago (it was wonderful but I decided it was time to outgrow it as my taste in perfume evolved to a whole new level). So, I was lured by this perfume's bottle. It looks unique and pretty. It usually takes much more than a few whiffs for me to decide on which perfume to buy and stick to, but I just got this perfume on an impulse. I wish I had known what I know now. The scent turns out to be extremely generic on me, very "mehh", super ordinary, and candy-ish. Only pro is that this fragrance does get close to the skin and you can smell whiffs of it throughout the day. But it isn't for me, it made me nauseous. I usually like heavy, earthy, and complex fragrances.

I used to be one of those who would much rather prefer tying their hair in a knot to spare themselves from the trouble. This product is literally fantastic. It is very cheap for a serum, so I honestly did not expect much from it. But It has miraculously rescued my fine hair that I have been trying to healthily grow for ages. My ends are now way shinier and healthier after blow-dry and straightening. I feel much more confident about letting my hair down now. Amazing!

Moisturizers -Sisley - Ecological Compound

I have always been very reluctant about moisturisers although I know how important they are. Before discovering ecological compound, I almost gave up on moisturisers altogether because they all made me break out heavily and kept my face horribly oily. This product is really good, it even helps diminishing breakouts. EDIT: realised that it is crucial for a moisturiser to contain SPF. This one doesn't and as a result, I accumulated acne scarring and dark spots on my face.

Masks -Sisley - Radiant Glow Express Mask

I love it. It is my go-to mask whenever my face looks tired and feels dull. It truly gives an instant radiant glow. I usually use it before bed to wake up with awesome skin, or I sometimes use it right before applying my make up for that fresh glow. Fantastic stuff.
