This lip gloss gets too much love on Youtube and I really dunno why! i caved in and bought it and I HATED IT!!! I have NC35 skin and it makes me look sick and gross b/c it's soooooooo pale it washes me out. It doesn't look great over a lipstick for me or even on its own. Overall, I hate this L/G from MAC and I am disappointed at how much people raved about it.

I've used the regular Colorstay religiously for years and I've bought this on and off but I hardly use it, and for couple months I decided to use it again and I LOVE IT!!! I love the coverage even though it's a light foundation. I have it in golden beige and it matched my skin perfectly! After applying this, I look dewy and healthy, so for those with oily skin like me, I suggest finish it with a powder and you'll look very natural! I also love that my skin can breath b/c the formula is so light, unlike the regular Colorstay, however, I think that b/ c I don't have anymore bumps on my skin now, this foundation looks better, but when I did have lots of breakouts or bumps, it looked worse! So if you have clear skin and wanna wear something that will even out the skin tone, this is THE product.

I made a mistake buying this foundation a day before a friend's wedding before testing it out; the wedding was at a beach. As soon as I applied this foundation, my skin felt sticky, SUPER OILY, and I had to repeatedly trying to blot my face before and after the ceremony, even though the weather during the wedding was breezy, I was still an oil mess. I've used the Photogenic in high school and was a decent product so I expected this product to be just as good but it was just crap! If U have oily skin, stay away from this foundation b/c it will just exacerbate the problem!
I got this product b/c of the huge raves I found on YT and here, I have acne prone/oily skin and this product did nothing to me. If U have lots of acne or lots of scars then this won't work but if U have almost perfect skin then I think it suits U otherwise it's a waste of money
I hesitated when buying this foundation b/c of the mixed reviews on here, but after watching a couple YouTube vids on this foundation I'm sold!!! I'm NC35 and I got mine in Natural Medium Beige. This foundation feels sooooo light and whipped-like, when I put this on it doesn't feel like I have anything on my face but good coverage. How I apply this is picking the product with a regular foundation brush and just use my fingers to blend it out and it looks amazing!!!! I have very oily skin and even though I love my Revlon CS I feel like I still get oily throughout the day, with this foundation I stayed matte 80% more and I only blot ONCE; that's huge for my oily skin!!! Overall, I think oily skin girls should give this a try, I've never tried any Maybelline foundations b/c of the poor reviews but I"m glad I picked this up b/c it's so worth it!!!
I caved in and bought this foundation when it finally arrived at Target couple months ago. I was ecstatic to try it out b/c I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my ColorStay but this foundation is CRAP!!!! I have extremely oily skin and this foundation does not last for more than 3 hours. Although I never notice any shimmer on my face, I find that it's very dewy and that's not good for oily skin people. I wore this when I went out clubbing and my makeup was GONE after 4 hrs of dancing, unlike my Colorstay which stays on no matter what. Overall, this foundation sucks in my opinion: I love the pump bottle but that's all that's positive about this foundation. Staying power sucks and not good for oily skin people!
Moisturizers -Purpose - Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion with spf 15

I thought I loved this moisturizer because it's very light weight and "recommended by dermatologists," I broke out SOOO BAD from this!!! I usually moisturize my neck too to prevent wrinkles and even my neck got breakouts!!! As soon as I stopped using this product my breakout stops, soooo it's very sad to know that this product didn't work for me b/c I love the consistency and how light it feels, but for the price of getting huge cystic acne is not worth it!
Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20

I really dunno why people don't like this foundation! I've been wearing the Revlon color stay and while I liked that foundation, I find that the consistency is too thick/heavy for me but w/ this one it's thinner yet still gimme great coverage. I wear this for 8 hrs at work dealing w/ heat and running around and my face still looks great at the end of the day, not blotchy, no oxidation, just glowy! I got shade #70 and I'm in MAC NC35 and for the first time I gotta ds foundation that matched my skin PERFECTLY, I don't even need to blend down my neck, and that's very impressive to me!!! While many people find that the screw on cap is annoying, I find it ok if you use a sponge like SK blending sponge or the beauty blender from Sephora, then tilt the foundation upside down and get the product from there and just blend it out. Overall, I will be buying this over and over again b/c I am loving it!!!!!
Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

I had a love and hate relationship w/ this foundation! I'm NC 35 and I've been through sooooo many trials to find 1 that's not too pink and I finally found it in Warm Golden. It blends in my skin soooo well and it made me look natural!!! I don't have to blot my face so often whenever I wear this makeup, mainly cuz I used SK lose powder to set it hehe but other than that it stays on very well, through intense heat or workout. The ONLY thing that I dislike about Revlon foudation is the smell, the scent smells like old lady, but other than that, I love the coverage, and the staying power...I would buy this over and over again!!!
this was my first LUSH skincare product and I'm in love!!!!! the sales girl talked me into buying this cuz she says it helps w/ acne scars and she did a little demo on the back of my hand to feel how smooth it is after using it. It is kinda expensive, I got the one in the container for almost $13 but a little goes a long way. What I do is after I remove my makeup, I break it up into a small piece, wet it w/ some water and apply it to my face, I wait for about 30 sec til I wash it off in the shower and it leaves my skin soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unbelievably soft!!!!! I also noticed that it helps w/ my acne too, I don't get breakouts and my skin texture is smooth on the surface and whenever I apply foundation it looks great!!! I would definitely buy this when I run out
Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Studio Tools Dual-Finish Skunk Brush ] [DISCONTINUED]
itzjuzKT 10/18/2009 10:52:00 PM
I owned the MAC 187 years ago but I took it back b/c it left my foundation streaky, nowhere near "flawless" at all!!! sooo when I saw this at Target, Sonia Kashuk also has 1 like this soo I picked this up since it's only 7 bucks as opposed to 15 from SK, anyways......this brush is okay if you cannot afford the 187, I think it's nice to use for blush b/c when I tried to use for foundation, the bristles got really hard and poked my face pretty hard!! I took this back to Target too b/c I have way too many blush brushes and it's not worth the 7 dollars. For those who are into the hype of skunk brush then this is a decent brush, but it's just not for me
Brule is the ONLY shadow I use as a highlight for my brow bone, it truly is the best match for my skin tone, I'm NC-35. I've hit pan w/ this product so many times & I've continued to repurchase it over and over. this is a MUST HAVE!!!
Foundations -Bare Escentuals - bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation - Golden Medium
itzjuzKT 7/18/2009 6:04:00 PM
I used BE in the past when the whole MMU made a trend, I hated it b/c the colors they had was crap and the medium shade was too pink for me so I quit using it and that was 7 years ago. Now they extend their colors, which is great, so I tried it again and bought the golden medium, (I'm NC35). While this is a close match, it looks SO CAKEY and gross on me, no matter how little I apply it. I've tried all methods too, primers, then w/o primers, just moisturized face, U name it, and I still cannot get it to work. It made my face look like a mask and heavy looking. I wanna like BE but I find that EDM is better for my budget and my skin
When I first heard a rave about CS palette on youtube, I thought it was too good to be true so I got it and was excited to use it!! BUT............. as soon as I swiped my brush on one of the colors, it was VERY POWDERY, it was messy, didn't last long at all!!!! I honestly don't think it's worth the 20 bucks for those who are starting out w/ makeup, I have NYX single shadows and they're dirt cheap and I think they're better than this palette! Overall, don't buy into the hype about CS, they're not great at all!!!!
I had high hopes for this foundation when I read about the positive reviews on here & on sephora website, so I got a generous sample from the SA at sephora in the color Honey, I'm MAC NC35; got home and tried it on right away. I was NOT impressed at all, my skin looks gross, it made me looked "dirty'' like I had dirt or something on my face, I still looked blotchy. It didn't gimme much coverage, it looks like a TM but heavier texture. I usually love Clinique's foundation cuz it's good for sensitive acne-prone skin but this is not for me. good thing I didn't buy this foundation cuz it's a waste of money IMO
