I absolutely love this color. I wanted a tint of natural red but a bit of coral as well. To be honest, I am absolutely impressed with this color. I think it is amazing. It is moisturizing and it has a hint of shimmer, which is really nice. It doesn't dry out my lips at all. Plus, the price for this lipstick is probably the cheapest you can get for department stores.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Minerals Loose Blush - 165 Barely Peach

I found this product at the flea market. It came new so I thought, why not try it out? Plus, it only costs me ONE DOLLAR! I was in love. I was a bit worried at first because it was loose minerals. I tried Bare Essentials before and I realized that I'm not very fond of loose minerals. However, for this product, you will definitely get a nice, sweet, and innocent flush! I definitely will try to go to the flea market again some time soon to buy a different color. :)

Makeup Brushes -Essence of Beauty - Foundation Brush
rated 4 of 5
itstihu 5/12/2010 5:49:00 PM

I bought this foundation brush because it came in the three duo-sets. I actually loved using it. The bristles are nice and soft and it doesn't streak my foundation, which I really enjoy. I started using the brush every since I realized that applying foundation with a brush was a huge mistake (it absorbed all my expensive foundation!!). Anyway, so when I got this, I was excited to use it. It hasn't shed at all. Well, I only washed it once a week, even though it's recommended to be washed daily or whenever it's being used. I'm actually trying to buy another one. I really love this foundation brush.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Total Face Brush
rated 2 of 5

I got it for $1... I'm a huge E.L.F. fan because it's affordable. It allows you to try things without spending a lot money. But this brush is a huge disappointment. The bristles aren't amazingly soft like the eyeshadow brush. So when I use it, it's kinda stiff. I don't have sensitive skin but I do prefer to have something soft. I basically use it after I wear on everything to sweep off some of my makeup so that it doesn't look cakey.

Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
rated 4 of 5
itstihu 5/2/2010 3:31:00 AM

I love the bronzer and the blush. I've tried it on and it gives a very nice color. There is a bit glitter in the blush and bronzer which is fairly decent. I guess when you apply it, before and not put too much, or else you will look tan and pink haha. It's only $3. I gave it four out of five for packaging because it has a huge mirror. I didn't really like how the case it comes in looks but it's not a big issue. it's a rather nice product. :)

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush

Would I buy this product again? As a matter of fact, I already own two :] It's a good blending tool especially for the price. You cannot find an eyeshadow brush that is actually good for that low of a price. It's only a buck---what do you have to lose?

Well, I didn't actually buy this in the first place. My roommate had one and i tried/used it... It did not impress me at all---sorry..... I prefer the E.L.F. over this one.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Mini Eyelash Curler

Yeah, I'm sorry, this product was a pure disappointment.... I was so excited when i bought this too! I thought it would be able to grab those stubborn eyelashes near the tear duct but I was wrong! I tried it, and it didn't work. Thank goodness Sephora had a nice policy exchange. I returned it the day after I bought it, that was how much I knew I wouldn't like it!

Skincare - Face -Shiseido - Facial Cotton
rated 5 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 11:05:00 PM

My roommate showed me this. I was a little skeptical but I took her word for it. And i got to say, it was......wonderful. It feels like soft clouds on your skin when you're removing the makeup. Very soft!!!! It's not abrasive and it does not hurt your skin. It's good for cleaning your eye makeup too, if anyone is concerned. It's THAT soft. Anyway, it's about...$9 at sephora I think... I got it for 7.50 cause sephora has a 15% off sale! I love itttt, I use it for everything. And I've been using it sooo often (i find any reason to use it) and i haven't even used up one block of it yet. :) Buy again, forsure!

Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector
rated 4 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 11:00:00 PM

I guess for me, the only issue is the price tag. It's like $17 for a tiny skinny tube. I know that you don't necessarily need a large amount to prime, but how long does this product even last you if you use less than a pea size everyday??? So when I did try it, I loved it. I noticed instantly how softer my skin felt--and that is a great feeling. It made my foundation a little easier to blend, but that could be just because my foundation was easy to blend in the first place. It does keep me oil free and I did notice my makeup did not rub off as easily as before. It did a good job on keeping my makeup stay on my face for a long time.

Powder -Sephora - Matifying Powder Foundation
rated 4 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 10:57:00 PM

I was eager to buy this because it was only $7 and it seemed to have good ratings. When I did try it, the coverage was not that great. The lady at Sephora did warn me that this is only sheer coverage. That it is meant to apply after the makeup is put on (foundation etc.) and used to keep the makeup in place. And I thought that sounded like a good idea, so I bought it. I don't know about how it covers up blemishes and such....because I really think my foundation took care of that. I suppose it does cover whatever my foundation missed when I applied it on. Anyway, it was not a bad buy, since it was $7. And I can understand everyone's concern about the packaging, but since it's so sheer, is it that important to have a mirror? Plus, when I put on makeup, there is usually a huge mirror nearby. Buy again? Yes, only if it's $7...if not, maybe no...

Blush -Chanel - Joues Contraste in Fresque
rated 5 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 10:53:00 PM

The price can be off-putting at first, but if you can afford a forty something dollars blush, then why not. I really love this blush! I have fair to medium skin, so any dark blush will make me look like a clown. For this one, it's very light (but can be darker if you choose to layer it) so it gives a nice and beautiful natural look. It's like you have that radiant glow to you. It does not look fake at all. If I ever run out of it, I will be coming back again, It is simply lovely. I can't explain how much I love this product!

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler
rated 5 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 10:49:00 PM

So, because of everyone's recommendations and high reviews, I decided to go out and purchase one. I went a long way to get it too. Anyway, when I got home, I was so eager to try it out---and everyone was right! I wasn't disappointed. The grip (initially, I thought it was hideous looking haha) is rather comfortable, despite what I originally thought of it. When it grabs my eyelashes, it does make a very nice curl. You know how sometimes you curl your eyelash and it doesn't have a gradual curl? Well, this E.L.F. gives a nice and natural curl. I never realized my eyelashes were this long before! I own a Shishedo (?) eyelash curler for several years now, and I can say with confidence that it is definitely comparable to it. And E.L.F. eyelash curler for one buck? Heck yes, go try it!

Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation
rated 5 of 5
itstihu 4/29/2010 10:44:00 PM

This is my FIRST review ever and I have chosen my first to be about the Chanel's Teint Innocence. I have fair to medium tone skin, so I bought the Cameo color of this foundation. I am very much unfamiliar with the makeup world so this was the first foundation I was exposed to and I'm glad it is, I really am. I have always been frightful of looking "cakey" or "fake", but this line that Chanel has is wonderful. The coverage is fairly nice, especially since I have huge dark circles underneath my eyes. The smell is lovely also (I'm scared of weird smelling makeup stuff). It blends really well, and the fact that i'm still new at this makes my life a whole lot easier! Hehe. I got adventurous and I bought the Bare Minerals to compare. When I did get a chance to compare, I realized how much I really LOVED my Chanel foundation compared to the Bare Minerals. So all in all, when I run out, I will definitely go get it again! The only reason that would make me hesitant is the price tag... it's a whopping $56!!! (ps. the packaging is sooooo cute, very professional looking)
