Pressed Powders -Fresh - Face Luster

This is such a beautiful powder. It has a very soft and light feel on the skin but has a good amount of coverage. My only complaints would be the price and the packaging. I hate that it's a screw top (like everyone else) and would also prefer and probably be more willing to buy it again if it came in refills. I would buy it again, providing I could afford it. It's worth the price but would be much more appealing if it came in refills and flipped out like regular powder/compacts! But overalls its a great product, the price doesn't disappoint. It gives my skin a soft look, and doesn't change colour or cake.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

Very happy with my purchase. It goes on sheer at first, but builds up nicely. I love how natural it looks, almost like I'm not wearing blush, like my face just has natural warmth to it. I can see why so many people love this =)

Concealers -Fresh - Concealer

This is by far, the best concealer I've tried. From now on I will be purchasing this, and no others. It provides just enough coverage for me. Blends softly into my skin and smooths out the eye area. It makes me look more "awake". I notice the consistency is similar to Lancome Effacernes, but I find this provides better coverage and has much better staying power. The packaging, is very sanitary, which is a plus. I almost didn't buy this because of the size and wasn't sure if it was worth the price, but the product I just love and concealer is such an important part of my make-up regime, I will buy it again as soon as I run out!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Prrr

This is my favourite lip gloss! I am fair skinned (NC15) with black hair and love how versatile this is. I can wear it with my dark eye makeup (which I mostly wear) but also with my sheer makeup look. I wear it with MAC's Gingerly blush, powder bronzer in Golden or Hyper Real Bronze FX.

Masks -Aveda - Deep Cleansing Herbal Masque

I'm hesitant to use new things on my face but after loving all the Aveda products for hair I've used as well as the body scrub, I finally decided to try something from their skincare. This doesn't sting at all to me, and for those people who have had that reaction you are probably allergic to it or sensitive to the ingredients and I would not suggest you continue using it! Anyway, as always, with Aveda products I love the smell. It leaves my skin super soft and feeling and looking clean. I'm not sure how often it should be used so I do it once a week. A little goes a long way with this, use it sparingly and it will last a long time. You don't need to squeeze out much to cover your face. I notice when my skin is having problems (reddness, breakouts), this calms it down. I've finally found a face mask I'm completely satisfied with!

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler

I didn't want to spend this much on an eyelash curler since I'm used to buying ones from the drugstore for under $10. But this really does live up to all the hype. It's easier to pump up your lashes without having them look bent, which is what was happening to me when I was using cheap brands. It's worth the cost though, and I'll definetly buy it again. Only complain: I wish they sold the replacement pads separetly!

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I hated this at first, it felt like I was washing my face with moisturizer. But I realized it's a good thing because it is so incredibly gentle and before I was using cleansers that were too abrasive or further irritating my sensitive skin. I clean up my face after with a toner (Paula's Choice) or Witch Hazel.

Bronzers -MAC - Bronzer in Golden

This looks great overtop the Hyper Real Bronze FX which I apply on my cheekbones lightly with the palm of my hand. I put this overtop on the cheekbones as well, then put my blush on the apples of my cheeks. I use it as a contour, and do not apply it on the rest of my face because it looks really unnatural on me, since I don't tan. Gives a nice healthy 'glow'.

Eyeliner -Chanel - LE CRAYON KHOL

I bought this eyeliner after my friend bought it and I absolutely loved the way it looked on her. The colour was so dark and vivid and really seemed to stay put. So I got it too and I don't think I can ever go back to using MAC's eye kohl which is what I used to use. It barely creases or smudges and is perfect for a smoky eye look which is what I wear most days. It has great staying power too, I can go without touching up. I normally wouldn't spend this much on an eyeliner but since I've had this, I definetly will now. Will buy again and again and again until I grow out of my smoky eye, dark black eyeliner look.. =)

Pressed Powders -Lancome - Photogenic Compact [DISCONTINUED]

I initially like this powder when I first put it on, it makes my skin looks flawless like I have no pores! But unfortunetly I don't like the staying power. It tends to dry out my skin (which is combo but mostly oily) and my face eventually looks dull halfway through wearing it.

Conditioner -Aveda - Sap Moss Conditioning Detangler [DISCONTINUED]

This is the only conditioner I use, I love it so much! In the winter I tend to use it paired with the Sap Moss shampoo but in warmer months I switch to the Shampure shampoo. It keeps my hair shiny, smells great! but not overpowering, doesn't weigh down my hair or make it look oily and moisturizes like a dream.

Toners -Neostrata - Toning Solution (8%)

I love this. My best friend's dermatologist recommended it to her and then she told me about it. It helps keep my skin clear and doesn't irritate. My skin is my much even toned and smooth now and my marks from past breakouts have faded. I use this as my main product to tone & exfoliate, but also like to use Paula's Choice BHA 2% Liquid (check my reviews).

I've been using this product for a couple week now and have seen a significant difference in my skin. My pores are smaller, & my skin is smoother. The solution does have a greasy feel so I wouldn't use it under make-up or in the morning, but if you can get past that, it's definetly worth a try. I apply it at night with a cotton ball on my T-zone only, and use an AHA on the rest of my face. My only complaint is I wish it were sold in larger quantities, which is why I gave it a 3 in packaging. Next time I order I'll purchase more than one to save on shipping costs!
