Got a sample from Sephora. Yuck. Smells cheap. Specifically, it smells like a cheap drugstore perfume from the 80's, something by Coty maybe, can't quite put my finger on it.

Excellent product. This is the second time I've purchased it and I was pleased to see that they revamped the packaging--tossing the two tiny, worthless brushes and making the compact significantly smaller. This is perfect for me as I keep this in my purse. The coverage is great and and the texture is light and blends easily. I find no problem with dryness or cakiness, but my skin is normal to oily and I live in a hot, humid climate. The colors are very good though with my medium skin tone I seldom use the lightest. I like this better than my old Benefit concealer palette. The setting powder works well to cut mid-day shine on nose and forehead when applied with a small powder brush and has allowed me to cut my travel powder compact from my purse as well!

As far as effectiveness goes I have to admit I can't say for certain as I cannot get over the smell. It's not that it smells bad, exactly, but the scent completely overpowering. Putting that much fragrance on your face can't possible be a good thing. I will say that it feels nice: rich and creamy yet absorbs quickly. It was kinda pricey and I can't bear to toss it so I have been using it on my hands and chest where I have been seeing the beginnings of my punishment for decades of outdoor activities with improper sun protection. I may be a tad optimistic, but I think that the backs of my hands may be starting to look a little better.
Foundations -Hard Candy - Just Face It - One Step Foundation

I am surprised at how well this foundation works for me. The coverage is excellent and the texture is relatively light. It dries down (quickly, you must work fast!) to a matte finish and has very good staying power. The coverage is buildable and a little extra patted around the eyes and nose pretty much eliminated the need for concealer for daytime use. The color range is very limited but the medium tan works well on my lightly tanned golden olive skin tone.

Very nice product for the price. Not too glittery. Almost as good as my fave highlighter Highbeam by Benefit but not as light and a bit more sparkly, but the color is very close. A little goes a long way and though I say I would repurchase, with the size of this bottle I may never have to :)
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Strike-A-Pose-Rose #346

Nice! Good color with subtle shimmer. Definitely worth the price.
Beautiful! I love it. I don't usually go for sweet florals but this is irresistible. Clean, sweet, slightly tart and delicate. Feminine without being in the least bit precious or overtly girly. My only complaint and the one thing that would keep me from repurchasing this is the staying power, or lack thereof. I've heard it compared to D&G Light Blue but I feel that this is softer, not as citrusy and LB definitely sticks around whereas this disappears in a few hours. I do really love it though, so I'm considering getting the lotion to see if some layering might help.
Concealers -Hard Candy - Nobody's Perfect concealer palette

Major suckage. I've tried wet n wild concealers that work better than this junk. It's like play makeup. Too sheer, not buildable, greasy and then cakey. Yuck. Too bad though, it looks like such a nice palette. I've tried and liked hard candy products in the past and was psyched to see this line in WalMart. I assume that they have changed the formulation radically for the low end retail market. Lame.
I have this in Citrus Glow, Wine, and Chestnut Glow. All the same pros and cons as most long wearing lipstick (i.e., it lasts forever then flakes off unevenly, tends to be somewhat drying) however what sets this apart it the sheer formula, which I love and the super glossy topcoat. I am pretty tan and these colors look good on me, even the wine which is quite dark in the tube can be worn during the day if applied with a light hand. I have pale lips and have generally avoided gloss since I am left with naked lips after about ten minutes. With this product the gloss topcoat does need to be reapplied of course, but when it does wear off at least you are still left with the color, which makes this a keeper for me.

Fantastic. My new HG, the color is great, the texture is perfect, very smooth and not thick at all--in fact it's so light I cannot believe the amount of coverage I get. The highlighter is very nice too, not too glittery just a touch of shimmer. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I got this on a BOGO and I liked it so much that I immediately went out and bought two more.

This kit is unarguably cute and I love Benefit's snappy little names, but in truth the products are mostly just so-so and the price tag is far from cute. I thought it would be great to carry in my purse but it is a little clunky. lemon-aid: very light, pretty dry and pasty, ok when mixed with boi-ing but it does crease boi-ing: pretty good, a little above average concealer but not spectacular, good coverage ooh la lift: I want to say that this makes a difference but I fear that it may simply be wishful thinking--it feels really nice going on :) lip plump: gross and useless, like using concealer on your lips before your lipstick, it just muddies the color no matter how long you wait for it to dry. The only conceivable use for this product would be if you have extremely pigmented lips and are going for a nude mouth. high beam is a very nice highlighter, just enough shimmer and it goes on smooth but the bottle in this kit is tiny--you are better off just buying this in a full size. This is the only thing in the kit that I might repurchase.
Smells a lot like Hartz 2-in-1 flea and tick shampoo. Really terrible.
I got this in a scent sampler from sephora and I have to say, I read some of the reviews here and I feel like I am smelling an entirely different product. I almost want to go to the mall just to confirm that the product that came in this sampler is the same product being reviewed here. Fresh? Light? Clean? Not at all. The person who said this smells 70 year old lady-ish is right on the mark. It smells like something Avon might have put out in the early 80's in a limited edition "collectible" bottle shaped like a kitten or a basket of flowers. Or maybe just hairspray, cheap drugstore old lady hairspary. Truly awful.
I don't love this. The colors (I got the medium starter kit) is too pink, so forget about the one size fits all idea that they spew out on the infomercial. Finish is a bit to shimmery for my taste. Also, it makes my face itch like crazy. I have four other brands of mineral makeup and none of them make my face itch like this stuff does. I like the L'Oreal and the Physicians formula brands. I use the PF as a concealer pretty much every day..
I agree with the other reviewer! This is a perfect, dirt cheap black honey alternative. I got it in a 2 for 5 sale, but even at full price it's still just half the price of clinique. Fantastic value for an excellent product.
