I really like this mascara, it's not the BEST, but they're on the same street :) It gives good lenght, and enough volume. It doesn't feel crispy to me, nor does it smudge or flake during the day. Easy to remove (I use Bioderma Sensibio H2O/Crealine). Doesn't smell too strong like other mascara's. Not that expensive. Some "cons" would be that you can't do more than 2 coats (well you can, of course, but you get clumpy lashes), and it doesn't hold a curl. I might buy it again, but with so many mascara's on the market it's hard for me to use the same mascara every time :)
Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Kinesys - Alcohol-free spray sunscreen
irinahanu 9/4/2011 8:42:00 PM
Great product. Truly no scent, no colour, no alcohol. I got the small version to try it out (1fl.oz/30ml). The sprayer works great. I use it on my face and neck only.Lasts about 2.5 months used daily. It feels greasy when you first apply it, but it dries quickly and it doesn't look shiny, it's quite matte. No white cast. Feels like a face primer on the skin. No clogged pores although it has silicones in it (I've used Smashbox primer and it broke me out - don't know if it was from the silicone or from other ingredient, haven't used another primer). I think makeup would look good over it but I haven't tried it. I try to stay in the sun as little as possible, so I didn't test it to its full potential.
Gels/Soaps -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Fragrance Free Satin Shower Body Wash

Although my skin is not that sensitive, I decided to change my skin care routine and use products meant for sensitive skin (no perfumes added, no oils, no fragrances). I have an oily, with mild acne skin. It doesn't lather so good IMO but it cleanses fine (haven't used it with makeup, but it gets sunscreen off). If I get near my eyes there's no burning or sting. Although it has no fragrance, it still has a weird medicinal scent (I'm fine with that) Great price for the amount you get (I only use it on my face, it's going to last about 4 months). A definete repurchase.
I've got very oily skin with mild acne on my cheeks and jaw. That is until I started using this gem :) Before this I used Acne.org's 10% AHA+ and it was fine, but I was still getting some anoying cysts and pimples. Since I started using 2% BHA my skin looks so much better, not one cyst since I started using this, I still get some pimples/zits every month but they heal in 2-3 days (as to 1-2 months a cyst used to before). My jaw is almost clear, the purple/red marks on my cheeks are lighter in colour. This lotion seems to reduce redness quite good. It has a gel-like consistency, and it smells so fresh, like cucumbers or something like that. It never made my skin sting, even if I had an open wound. It exfoliates decent, but not as good as the 10% AHA, still, I'd take BHA over AHA anytime :) My skin doesn't look as oily after using this gel for about 2 months. Very happy with this one. I'm thinking of getting Paula's Choice Weightless Body Treatment with 2% BHA when I finish this tube. (can't stop trying new stuff even if I found a perfectly good one already :D )
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pink Duo Fiber Powder Stippler
irinahanu 1/2/2011 3:22:00 AM
A stippling brush seems to be the "must have" brush every time I read make-up blogs or watch a youtube video, and as I don't have money for the MAC one (or even the Sigma one) I bought this one when CS was having a 50% off, for $4.77 (I was switching between this one and the black handle one). It's not too dense so I don't think it would work great with liquid foundation (and plus it sheds, so definitely a no). It sheds tiny black hairs,so annoying. I use it as a blush brush and it's good. Haven't used it with any liquids as I'm scared of the tiny black hairs shedding like crazy. They don't have it on the site anymore.
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Italian Badger Angle Brush

This is kinda coarse, I wasn't expecting that. It doesn't shed.It doesn't bleed. No smell when I got it. But it feels rather harsh on my cheeks, and I don't have a sensitive skin.
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pink Round Crease Eye Brush

Acceptable. No shedding,no bleeding. A bit coarse.
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pink Oval Fluff Shadow Brush

Maybe I got a bad one but this one sheds. It's a bit big for my lids, but it is great as a brow highlighter. Too bad that it sheds. Very dense.
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Synthetic Buffer Brush Large
irinahanu 1/2/2011 2:49:00 AM
This brush is soooo soft.It might be the best brush CS sells. They changed the name (now it's called Bionic Flat Top Buffer Brush) but I think it's the same.I bought it before they changed the name. It works amazing with liquids and powders. No shedding ever.I'm amazed. The only con I would have is that when I got it for two weeks aprox. the handle smelled horrific, like a dead animal (I think it was the glue?!).The bristles never smelled but the handle did for about 2-3 weeks (even with several washes). Now I love it! I think this might be a dupe for the Sigma F80, but as I don't own that one can't say for sure.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Visibly Clear 2-in-1 wash mask
irinahanu 1/2/2011 2:24:00 AM
I have oily-very oily skin. Using it at night as a cleanser.Great. As a mask, I only used it 2 times when I first bought it.I rarely use masks (except for the aspirin one once a week). I have the same tube for over 3 months, just a few more uses left, using it every night.A pea size amount on a small sponge. Not very foamy. Hasn't break me out. Cleanses without drying. I follow with the Acne.org AHA+ moisturiser.
This is more like a unisex perfume. Very spicy and quite unique to me.Good staying power. I like it.
Cleansers -Olay - Daily Cleansers - Gentle Cleansing Milk
irinahanu 1/2/2011 2:03:00 AM
Nothing special. My mom got this free with an Olay moisturizer she bought and she gave it to me as she doesn't use make-up. I see that people use it as a gel foamy cleanser.I actually use it on a cotton pad to remove my eye make-up.No eye iritation.Used with normal mascara. Pleasant smell.Might be a bit overpowering for some. Won't buy it when it finishes.
I have this in 006 (Get Fresh!). Bought a sample from ebay for 2.49GBP, 7ml/0.23fl.oz tube (the pot in the store has 5ml, so I got more for less, in a more hygienic container). Get Fresh! is a metallic nude pink.Very pretty!I put photos with swatches and the tube. I have very oily eyelids. The first day I got it I put it on one eye alone and on one eye over UDPP.It stayed for over 8 hours on both eyes.I was really impressed. But...The next day I used it alone on both eyes and after about 2-3 hours it creased... I use it only over UDPP now and it stays for 7-8 hours without creasing or fading. It is very metallic, it dries fast, and because of this it's not easy to blend. I spread it with my fingers.Tried with some brushes but I didn't like how it looked. I use it when I'm in a hurry. Not impressed but for what I paid is great.
Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Head to Toe baby wash
irinahanu 12/17/2010 12:15:00 PM
I use it as a face wash and it works great, it lathers, it cleans, not expensive.I also use it as a brush cleaner. Hasn't broke me out, I have oily-very oily skin with light-mild acne on cheeks and although I still get acne there, my T-zone is clear so I'm happy with it.I use it only in the morning and I follow with moisturizer so can't say if it's drying, after washing I just feel my skin squeaky clean :D I don't know if it gets the makeup off 'cause in the evening I use a different cleanser. I've been using it for 2 months every morning.
Great product. My favorite, can't live without it. My skin is oily acne prone. I used to have ,until 4 months ago, a moderate case of acne with cysts on my cheeks and temples and some zits on the side of my mouth and occasionally on the other parts. Now it's light. My acne exists partially because of hormones, diet, excessive dead skin. If with hormones I can't do much (no bcp,I don't want to use it),with diet I eliminated sugar and after about 3-4 months (it takes a while) no more cysts (fruits are ok,I'm talking about the processed sugar that you find in sweets, cookies, ketchup, anything that has in the ingredients list mentioned sugar or the 10 names that they use for it;I try not to eat artificial sugars or white wheat flour either,I do use sometimes stevia). But I still would get some small zits and I knew it was because of excessive dead skin so I needed something to take care of that too so I researched a little and this cream-gel looked the best so I bought it and it's perfect.I get less and less acne, combining the diet with this cream.now I only get the occasional once a month 3-4 small pimples that takes 2-3 days to heal. I also noticed that my purple-red marks from previous cysts and pimples are starting to fade.I don't have lines, wrinkles so I don't know if it does something for those. No change in the oily skin department. The skin is smooth, soft, foundation looks great now. I've been using it for two months now, every night. It has a light smell but it's not bad(at least to me). It's not too cheap but using it for two months and it doesn't even look like I used it I think it ok for the amount you get.A tube might last 8-10 month with nightly use. UPDATE [Jan.02.2011]: It's been 8 months now,and using it every night, there's still half of the tube left...amazing.It still does its job. Once or twice a month I skip a night or two, making sure my skin doesn't get used to it. Really happy with this purchase. UPDATE [Sept.05.2011]: The tube finished about 3-4 months ago, and I decided to not repurchase it, because I wanted to try a BHA product and see if I get better results (I stopped the diet, now I eat sugar, and my skin hasn't changed for the worse - I guess I was wrong). Now I'm using the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control 3in1 Hydrating Acne Treatment (2% BHA) and I like it more than the AHA.When this one finishes I'm thinking of getting Paula's Choice Weightless Body Treatment with 2% BHA (I'l use it on my face of course).Right now I like BHA over AHA.
