Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser

I've used this cleanser for 9 months and still have almost half a bottle left! It's definitely a good value for the price. Pros: -Does not break me out -Does not strip my skin; leaves skin balanced -Removes general dirt and oil -Very gentle -Fragrance free Cons: -Does not remove makeup This is a very good basic cleanser. My skin is left feeling clean and refreshed, but not dry. It doesn't claim to do anything crazy, but it does say that it removes makeup, which I don't find true at all. It does fulfill every other claim, however. This is a staple product for me. I am on the search for something better (if only this helped with blackheads!) but it is the best cleanser I've found so far. I recommend this and will repurchase.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

This is one of the best drugstore moisturizers I have tried. I have combination, acne-prone skin and have used it for almost 3 months. Pros: -Lightweight enough for my mildly-oily T-zone -Does not break me out (no bad reaction whatsoever, actually) -Has faded acne scars slightly (thanks to niacinamide) -Comes in a pump bottle -Reasonable price Cons: -Not quite moisturizing enough for my dry cheeks This is a pretty basic moisturizer: It leaves my skin balanced and feeling comfortable and has faded acne scars a bit (mine take YEARS to fade and this has kick-started the leave of some that just weren't budging), but doesn't brighten or anything like that (not that it claims to). I recommend this and will repurchase, though it's not so good that I don't want to try anything else. Definitely a staple!

Cleansers -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Pineapple Enzyme Facial Cleanser

I have acne-prone combination skin and have used up an entire bottle of this cleanser. It took me over a year to use it up, so for the price it's an extremely good value! It's a gel-type enzyme cleanser. Pros: Doesn't break me out Removes dirt and oil well Leaves no residue Cons: Too drying for my skin Doesn't remove make-up very well Has a fairly strong fragrance I won't repurchase this because it doesn't suit my skin type, but I would recommend oily skin types to check it out. It's a pretty good general cleanser and did everything it claimed to do.

Treatments -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel

I've been using this for a couple months now, and have seen minor but noticeable improvement in my skin. It does seem to help reduce pimple size after one day, and shrinks them a bit more with several applications. I'm not sure if this actually helps reduce my acne scars, however. Sometimes they seems lighter, sometimes they look darker, which is strange (I'm observing them in the same room with the same light). I think the other products I'm using may be affecting that (I've switched face creams a couple times in the past month). One caveat is that each time I use this (and I mean EVERY time), it makes my eyes burn and sting slightly. It's pretty unbearable for a few seconds, but quickly wears off. I do have sensitive eyes, if that matters. So when I'm putting it on my left cheek, I close my left eye to prevent stinging, and vice versa. Overall, an OK product. Hasn't helped radically, but has helped a bit. Besides the stinging in my eyes, I recall a bit of stinging on my skin the first couple times of using this, but apparently my skin has acclimatized. Will buy again, unless I find something else...still in the market for a good acne medication.
