Lip Gloss -MAC - orange tempera
ingrid88 5/20/2013 10:44:00 PM
Orange Tempera is a really nice and opaque nude peach colour with a slight pink undertone. I hate the texture and formula of MAC lipglasses but this one is worth putting up with just because of the colour. It's incredibly pigmented so you need to be careful! I dab a few spots over my lips and spread it out. It creates the perfect nude lip for many skintones (maybe not on VERY dark skin). I always get questions and compliments whenever I wear this gloss ;)

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Makeup geek: Innocent
ingrid88 5/12/2013 5:21:00 PM
This is a really creamy and pigmented warm pink colour. I can imagine it looking great on all skintones. However it is already melting at the base and so it's probably going to break off anytime now (I've used it 3 times total). This is my biggest complaint. Other than that it's a really great product and a great price.

Lipstick -MAC - Pure Zen
ingrid88 2/10/2013 1:55:00 AM
This is my holy-grail nude lipstick! It's been a 5+ years journey to find the perfect nude lipstick for my medium olive-toned complexion. It is a perfect combination of peach and pink, making it a healthy type of "nude". It is a cremesheen finish which is awesome because I find that most nude lippies are matte/semi-matte. On my medium-pigmented lips, Pure Zen looks exactly like the lipstick version of Chelsea Girls lip lacquer from Nars. Both are gorgeous pinky nudes.

Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed Tarte Blush
ingrid88 1/11/2013 8:25:00 PM
Kind of disappointed. It's a nice colour but not pigmented enough for me. If you like sheer blushes then you might like this. Not me. I have to layer it on before I get enough colour on my cheeks. I don't know if I got a bad one but the texture is kinda dry and a bit chalky which makes it not pigmented.

Blush -Illamasqua - Tremble
ingrid88 11/25/2012 7:39:00 PM
Ok seriously now I understand what all the hype is surrounding Illamasqua blushes! The color Tremble is a warm baby pink with hints of coral. It is a FANTASTIC colour, something I don't have in my ginormous blush collection, surprisingly. I've waited sooooo long for Illasqua to hit Sephora stores in Canada and now it finally has! Us Canadians couldn't even get Sephora to ship to us if we ordered online o_O Tremble is very wearable and easy to pair with anything. It is very pigmented but if used with a light hand you can still achieve a minimalist look. It is matte and a dream to blend out. The wear-time really surprised me too, it lasted for pretty much 6 hours which is unheard of for me (because I have the oiliest skin in the world. No blush has lasted on my skin for more than 3 hours). The only negative thing I can say is the price ($32 Cdn) and the packaging feels pretty cheapy considering the price. Also, the powder is so incredibly finely milled, so when you dip your brush in it the powder sort of disperses, creating a dusty effect around the pan. It could potentially get messy but the trick is to pat the brush into the product, not swirl. Anyways, I hope this review helped some of you :)

Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross
ingrid88 11/10/2012 2:05:00 AM
Yes this product is VERY expensive for what it is, but I use it everyday! Basically it's a highlighter but it has a gorgeous golden sheen and makes your face glow like it's being illuminated by candlelight! It's multidimensional and complex, unlike anything else I've tried before. A little goes a long way so it'll last you forever.

Polishes -OPI - Mod About You

One of my favourite polish colours from any brand! A beautiful cool-toned light pink. It's like Essie Fiji but with a slight lilac undertone. For me it looks like the nail polish version of MAC lipstick in St Germain. The formula is great, creamy and opaque in 2 coats max. No complaints !

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous in Pink Pop
ingrid88 10/14/2012 11:28:00 PM
I seriously have zero complaints about this lipgloss. It's such a cute watery bright pink colour that makes your lips look so shiny and full! The texture is wonderful, not sticky at all! It's creamy and applies like a dream. It comes with a doe foot applicator which is my fave

I give this one 4 stars only because I'm so in love with the colour. It's SUCH a gorgeous neon coral! I haven't seen anything quite like it! But but but the formula is really atrocious :( it's runny and streaky and even with 3 coats I find it hard to get it even.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush in Rose Petal

Don't buy this blush if you are medium to dark skintone because it doesn't show up :( unless you want to pack on layers and layers. This is a really pretty colour and I do like the texture but it just doesn't work for my skintone.

This is a really gorgeous nail polish. I get opacity with 2 coats. The only thing I can't stand is the consistency!!! When I put it on my nails, it forms into this weird jelly texture after it sits for a couple of minutes, and this jelly takes 20-30 min to fully dry (with just one coat on!). It's soooo annoying. But the color is amazing so I grin and bare it.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush in Luminoso
ingrid88 9/5/2011 6:04:00 PM
Seriously, this blush is f--king amazing (sorry for the language lol). There is nothingggg I can complain about!! I got it for about $7.99 and it's the perfect peach blush I've always been looking for. It has pink undertones and is a bit shimmery but nothing over the top. It gives you this unbelievably BEAUTIFUL and youthful glow. It has just the right amount of pigmentation, where it's easy for you to put on just a little bit if you're really pale, but most definitely buildable. This blush is just WOW!! Nothing bad to say about it at all. It will work for ALL skintones, IMO. I've never gotten back-ups of blushes before but I think maybe I will now. MAC Ripe Peach used to be my holy grail peach blush, and while it is indeed beautiful, I prefer Milani Luminoso.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Woodwinked - veluxe pearl
ingrid88 8/23/2011 12:42:00 AM
This is a beautiful golden brown colour, perfect for day-to-day or even nighttime with a darker colour in the crease. It is quite versatile. It doesn't look like anything special in the pan but it's beautiful yet understated. I give only 4 stars because this colour sometimes looks kind of orangy on me :( I'm asian with yellow undertones and fair-medium skin.

This shade is absolutely beautiful!!! It's so understated but so classy and feminine. I loveeeeee!!! My only gripe is it's pretty streaky to apply and it's tricky to get an even coat on.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
ingrid88 7/11/2011 8:21:00 PM
DEFINITELYYYY not worth the hype..... This foundation cost me around $50 CDN and I think it's perfectly reasonable to have high expectations. My issues with this product: 1) For a product that claims to be "HD", it does not look any better in photos than my drugstore Maybelline foundation. 2) Coverage is sort of sheer; I need to use twice the amount of product in order to get medium coverage as opposed to my Maybelline foundation. 3) I'm not trying to be nit-picky but the packaging is cheapy for something that's $50.... it's just a plastic container instead of a glass bottle like I expected it would be.
