Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles

I liked this product, it gave be decent coverage but wouldn't hide my dark circles 100%. I would still see a grayish hue after I applied the concealer. The negative with this concealer is the packaging. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem or if I was unlucky and bought a faulty concealer but when I twist the top to dispense more product, the concealer accumulates in the upper portion of the tube. That is alot of product that is going to waste. If this wasn't a problem I would buy it again but I don't want to buy a product where half will go to waste.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover

This removes my waterproof makeup and doesn't sting my eyes. this does leave some sort of oily film but since I wash my face after I remove my makeup it doesn't really matter. This product isn't an HG product or anything but it gets the job done.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent

This product removes my eye makeup but does not do a good job removing waterproof eyeliner/mascara. The main reason that I would not purchase this item is because it stings my eyes when I use it. I received a fairly large sample of this product but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Eyeliner -Milani - Infinite Liquid Eye Liner

I would have LOVED to have given this 5 stars but I took off 2 for the brush. This eyeliner is pretty awesome at staying put all day. I have had so much trouble finding an eyeliner that doesn't smudge because I have oily and slightly creased eyelids (I'm Asian). Even with primer, the past eyeliners that I have used wouldn't stay put (i.e. MAC fluidline, prestige, sephora, urban decay 24/7) but the Milani liner did not budge! I even tried testing it out by splashing and rubbing water on my eyes and nothing. The only negative is the brush. It is longer and thicker than I would have liked and therefore I always have to use a separate brush to apply the eyeliner. It's annoying after awhile, but I'll have to deal with it because there's no doubt on the staying power of this liner.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Lip Colour Duo

I have this in 'thistle' and 'azalea'. I actually really like this infallible line because it doesn't smudge off as easily as regular lipstick. Applying it does take some getting used to. I found that the key is to always exfoliate your lips before using this product. One time I didn't and only about 2 hours later I felt my lips were getting flaky and it just looked really bad. However, when I exfoliate my lips and use it, the lipstick stays on for a LONG time. at least 6 hours. As for the staying power, I would always get a little paranoid and think that the lipcolor would come off if I ate something, but today I went to Chipotle and had a burrito. If you have been to Chipotle you know those burritos are HUGE and slightly messy. After eating, my lipcolor was still intact. Amazing. Will definitely purchase again.

Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

*sigh* i'm in love with this brush lol the bristles are really soft and gentle on my skin. My pores look soo much smaller and my nose area is less congested. I wash my makeup off with makeup remover first then I clean my face with this. End results are smaller pores and smooth skin. The only con is the battery compartment. The first time I tried to open it, it took awhile, which seems a bit ridiculous since the instructions are so easy...but pulling the cap off the battery compartment is tough. Other than that LOVE IT!!!

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Face & Body Foundation

I really like this foundation; it's light and natural-looking. Luckily I don't have major skin problems, well except for dry skin, and it covers well and doesn't seem to accentuate any dry spots. I am shade #32. Also, this didn't break me out. Love it =) My foundation bottle actually did come with a pump, so I didn't have any issues with that. I bought mine at Sephora if people wanted to know.

Lotions/ Creams -Cerave - Moisturizing Cream

I tried to use this as a moisturizer for my face since my face is so dry and at first it wasn't bad. My face was hydrated against the cold and I thought I finally found a moisturizer I could use during the winter. Unfortunately I've been noticing some pimples on my face and believe it is because of the cerave since it is the only thing that I changed in my normal skin routine. I guess I will have to use this cream as a lotion for my body. Cerave definitely needs to make their packaging better, at least put a protective seal over the cream. I thought I bought a bad jar but found out they're all packaged without a seal.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Drama

I wish there was a maybe for buying again. This mascara definitely gives that dramatic look to your lashes. I read a review on this mascara that said that you should apply a max of 2 coats otherwise your lashes will look clumpy and just not good and I have to agree!! I have a habit of just applying more than 2 coats of mascara and wasn't really thinking when I applied the hypnose drama and boy did I overcoat. My lashes are normally long but they definitely had more volume but because I overdid the coats, it looked a bit clumpy and stiff..like my lashes would break off if i bent it or something. There were some specks of mascara that fell off but it wasn't too bad. There's also this rose scent that, at first, I thought my mascara went bad when I first bought it. Not really fond of the smell but I could live with it. I love that my lashes looked so full but I will have to use this more if I want to actually purchase it.

The packaging for this lipbalm is so cute. The honeydew flavor was actually pretty nice and it moisturized my lips well. The only negative I have about this is that although the packaging is unique and cute (I get asked all the time what it is I'm using), it is hard to use all of the product once the sphere flattens out. Maybe I'll try the tube next time but definitely not a bad product.

Skincare - Face -Philosophy - When Hope Is Not Enough - Serum

I really wanted to like this product but the smell just made me not want to use it. I have dry skin and hoped that this serum would help moisturize, but when I put the serum on my face felt a bit tight. I thought that once I put on my moisturizer it would be ok. I wanted to use this serum for at least a month to see if there would be any noticeable changes on my face but the smell was just so bad I returned it within a week. I do like the dropper application but unfortunately will not be purchasing it again.

I actually like using these pore strips just to see all the gunk that was on my nose (I know, gross, but admit it! We all like looking at it haha) It does catch most of my whiteheads but I have yet to see it get rid of my blackheads. I have used this on and off for about 5 or so years now and everytime I use it I only see the whiteheads. These nose strips are pretty pricey seeing as you only get, I think, 5 in a box? Biore pore strips aren't a HG or anything, just something to use once in awhile

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

I probably shouldn't be using this mask since I have dry skin but I just LOVE the way my face is after I use it!! My pores get smaller and I even see that the whiteheads on my nose/cheek area get squeezed out (if that makes any sense at all). This mask is drying though so I don't use it too often, but I just love this mask and can't seem to stop using it. Oh and it's pretty cheap too =)

Cleansers -Caudalie - Cleansing Water

I really like this cleansing water. When I use it I definitely see all the dirt come off my face. I use it after I remove my makeup because if you don't you would end up using so much of the cleansing water in such a short time, and the bottle isn't that big. So in a way I use it as a toner. The only negative I have with this product is the smell..it's not very pleasant. However, since it is good at cleaning my face, I just ignore the scent. Will buy again.

Moisturizers -Clarins - Hydra Quench Cream

I'm sad to write that this cream didn't help my dry skin. When I first bought this product the cream went on really well and my face wasn't sticky at all after applying. It left my face feeling moisturized. A month into using the cream, it started to feel thick and heavy on my face. By the middle of the day I would see dry patches by my nose and forehead and even though my face was soft when I touched it, there was still this feeling that my face wasn't hydrated, it still felt dry. When I apply the moisturizer it leaves my face feeling sticky. Suffice to say, my hunt for the right moisturizer continues.
