Polishes -Revlon - Gold Coin

this color is a great gold with no orange in it! it has a great finish with or without topcoat. it must be applied without direct sun or any breeze/draft because it dries almost instantly and can get gummed up mid-stroke if you are not in the right conditions. otherwise it is a great color with a great formula. you would expect such a foiley polish to show brush marks but this one can definitely be done without marks if you're a decent nail painter. i'm going to use a BOGO1/2 sale to buy the other metals in this range (there are a couple of silvers and a copper, and of course the new, anticipated Carbonite.)

never would have pegged myself as a holo fan... but here i am :) if this was super peppy i probably wouldn't like it, but it really is like a metallic/rainbow beetle. it looks a little dirty and i like that :) the application was flawless for me. no streaks whatsoever. it looks PERFECT. this is day 4 for me and even with writing/typing/flipping through binders and books at work i have no signs of wear and have not applied any TC since the original single coat i used when i did my nails. love!

this is amazing. i don't think i want/need another body wash ever for the rest of my life. it's moisturizing but doesn't clog your pores or make you break out. SO RARE! i work out 7 days a week so you would assume i would break out from hetting sweaty and using an oil cleanser, but nope! i'm just clean, blemish free, and hydrated <3 i am seriously in love with this product. please, l'occitane, for once do not discontinue the things i love!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

this palette is all smooth and shimmery, with a great range of neutrals. if there were matte w&w they would sell out in a heartbeat and be HTF on ebay/amazon and i will be waiting in line for the ds to open on that day! PS these shadows apply nicely when wet with an EL brush.

This was staring me in the face when I zoomed through CVS looking for something to make me happy after a horrible day at work. I LOVE it! I've been lusting after BL Rosie Lee and this is very similar and $11 cheaper. I am still going to get RL because I adore the brand and this look, but this version from milani is awesome in it's own right. It dries quickly. I needed 3 coats and after 2 days my dominant index finger needed a touch up and most of my nails were missing glitter from the very tips of the nails. I have kept layering it instead of using top coat just to see how intense the glitter can get :D it keeps getting better! I didn't have time for a topcoat to dry the first time I painted them so I assume it would have lasted longer, so do keep that in mind. Go get this polish!

ok the people complaining about the color/shimmer are obviously not buying the right products. this is geared toward people with warmer skin tones (there are plenty for people with fair or cool skin in this range!) i love this color because it is less of a bright pop/highlight and more of a glow. it's awesome and i am so glad i have it :)

i love the brightness of this shimmer stick! it's perfect for the spotlight look that i want when i go out at night. it is a great cheekbone highlighter and for such a low price! i have a lot of highlighters and there is no reason to buy an expensive one when this product exists in a wide range of colors :)

there is nothing special about this. it has almost no staying power and the color is sheer with gritty shimmer. the smell is very lipstick-ey which i don't like, either. it's not terrible, but it's not good either. i got it on clearance, so i'm not upset. i leave it in my car for those weird moments when i have just emptied out my whole bag and my car and have absolutely no MU. it's my better-than-nothing lip product lol.

i have used this every day for almost a decade. it is amazing. people who don't like it need to realize this is SOAP. not lotion, not perfume, S-O-A-P. it strips anything and everything away with easy. if you need to get clean this is what you're looking for. and it's not tested on animals and the bottle is pretty minimal too. i just ignore the preachy writing.

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Kit

i have a bunch of eyebrow products designes to fill in/ hold hairs in place and this one is part of my rotation. it is annoying because you have to turn it over to get the little brush out, but the produc itself is great! the powder adds a little bit of body and substance to the darker wax/creme. i don't think you're supposed to use it that way, but i have very dark brows and i use it like that. the powder dowsn't make the wax any lighter IME, it just beefs it up a little bit. without the powder mixed it, though, the creme/wax side alone is not enough on my brows.

this has superb staying power, the perfect amount of shine and tint (i have the plummy colored one,) and a light sweet scent. it doesn't melt or travel all over my face, even when i work out! i am in love with this lip balm and want more colors!

I absolutely DIE for this smell! I sniffed each one at the Mill Valley store and they were all nice except for the Carmella one which is a pukey yucky sugary mess (coming from someone who LOVES sweet smelles like vanille abricot, sephora's creme brulee, lolita lempicka, and flowerbomb.) ANYWAY! back to Eva :) This scent is incredible. It's strong, which I love because it makes the bottle WORTH the price when you're good to go ALL DAY with just two spritzes! I honestly wish it came in a diluted body spray/splash just so I could be an idiot and keep it in my car and bombard people with my freshly applied fragrance all day long haha :) seriously, though, I put it on before work and when I go out at night it still smells (not just on me, but in my personal 3 ft bubble as well, so people who sit near me or hug me are always like "oh my god you smell so good!") The packaging is cute, too, and the name is fun just like the rest of Benefit's stuff. If/when I run out, I will DEFINITELY buy another bottle :)

i hate the metal-on-metal scratch when you put the cap on or take it off! but that's my only complaint :) it's such a nice orange scent with depth and warmth. i don't want to wear it on a hot day because it's not light, but it's nice if you want a change. it's not a common scent.

this products deserves flawless reviews in regard to its performance. it is amazing! i had my MU done at a Pretty Powerful event and one of the first things the MUA did was scoop out a chunk of this stuff and pile it onto my lips. At first i was like "whoa there...overload...this is not going to work..." but i just waited it out and figured i'd wipe it off before she did my lipstick. i ended up being wrong because my lips absorbed a lot of it and there was no excess. my lips were smoother and fuller and perfect. the spf smell doesn't bother me and it doesn't interfere when i use this under othe rproducts. it is a must for me and travels with me wherever i go every day. it's like $15 which i consider to be a lot for a plain balm.. but it keeps my lips lovely and is worth every penny. the packaging is cute and classic, but i am a little weirded out by the fact that i have to use my hands when i'm not at home. i usually try to use the end of a clean brush or a pen cap or something just to barely scratch the surface and get enough out for 1 use. i try to avoid butting my finger/nail in it.

Scrubs -L'Occitane - Almond Apple Sweet Peel

the full size could get germy easily... i use the small packets (i bought a bunch of small travel/sample sizes of the whole line.) each packet lasts for 3 uses for me. it is mild and isn't abraisive enough to do an overhaul if you have a lot of buildup. i use it about every other day instead of my normal cleanser and i don't have any sensitivity because it is so gentle. if you need to undo some clogged pore issues this probably won't work, but it can keep buildup from happening in the first place.
