I love these. I have very fine hair, so for a neat bun I need four. I think the key to using these and having them stay is to twist your hair VERY tightly before you form a bun. For a low bun I divide my hair in two and twist the sections around each other many times until it's a very tight twist. Then I form a bun, twist these in , and I have a bun that lasts a whole ballet class. These also make great high buns. Love. I also think its cool to spin the pins into one another for easy storage so they don't roll all over the place.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara

I liked this. I purchased the darkest black and still wish it could be a little more black, not as grey, but it's still good. Really lengthening, not much smudging, I don't like the little clump of mascara that always catches onto the tip of the brush as I pull it out, but oh well. also I have asian eyes and this mascara always transfers onto my eyelids during the application process, so gotta watch out for that too. Will try Voluminous Carbon Black in the near future to see how that mascara works for volume.
Ugh. Trust me, I love my drugstore products. I really do. But this shampoo sucks. I remember seeing reviews on here and wanting to try it. Apparently those reviews were for the older version of this shampoo. The version I have is terrible. It made my hair rough, it made me shed more than usual, and I'm pretty sure it's caused my increasing breakage, too. Sodium lauryl sulfate is the SECOND ingredient on it's list. Sulfates are really bad for your hair and skin. They literally will strip it. I'd reccomend VO5's kiwi lime clarifiying shampoo, not this. ALSO. the flip cap on my shampoo bottle broke off. I don't know if anyone else has this problem or not, but ... anyway.
Misc Beauty Tools -Sephora - Precision Pore Cleansing Pad

I love this little scrublet! My Sephora in my area did not have them, to my dissapointment, but I went on Ebay and found the exact same product for - get this- $1.63 (and you get TWO of these scrublets!). Of course, shipping took about 2 1/2 weeks, but it is well worth it. Just came in mail today, (I gave my mom one too) and I used it in the shower with my Cetaphil daily facial cleanser. WOW. I had had about 5 clogged pores around my nose that refused to be extracted, but after my shower I could easily clear out most of them (sorry if that was gross lol), and followed with my Mint Julep Masque. LOVE. Made my skin feel sooo smooooth. Will update after using more. EDIT: Still loving this. Still reccomended. EDIT: STILL LOVING! With everyday use it has really improved my skin. Don't be afraid to apply a little more pressure with this as you scrub! It won't tear your skin like a bristle brush would and it really cleans it out. I've changed my cleanser (I now use Olay blemish control 7 effects) which is a cream, and it still works wonderfully.
Such a gorgeous everyday product! I had used the "cherry" tinted lip care, but the tint was not right for me. It had some serious fuschia undertones and would be too strong if layered throughout the day. This pretty pinky-red-and dare I say sliiiiiiiiiiiightly reddish coral? tint is so flattering to me!! I LOVE IT!!! dirt cheap, and I got mine at ULTA. It has a hint of microshimmer in the tube but on lips it is invisible, just a glossy sheen. Pigmented! A few swipes on my lips or back of my hand deposits a good amount of color!! The smell is heavenly, like a warm strawberry jam or candy scent, with a faint taste. It does not smell terrible artificial, but then again I like most scents of scented makeup. I'd say this is my lips but brighter, and makes me look more put together.
Love it! Bought it a few days ago in the jumbo tube fron Target. Gorgeous and long lasting moisturization. Pretty sheer red tint, visible on lips but not overpowering. Had to get used to the taste (at first I thougth it was a little plasticky?) But now I love it! And the smell is spot on, but my friend thinks it is a little medicinal but she loves DP. Weird, huh? But i LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! Edit: the scent and taste have grown on me! Wonderful product, and I also now use this as a base for my more drying lipglosses and lipsticks! EDIT: Changed rating from 4 to a 3. it kinda made my lips start peeling. EDIT: Don't even use anymore, because it made my lips peel so. :(
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Eyeshadow - Hushed Tints

Ugh. Mixed feelings about this. First real eyeshadow ever, and I was dissapointed. The brown is alright, more leaning on the reddish-brown side, (NOT FLATTERING) and the beige kinda color is very chalky but I can work with it. The white isn't bad, very stark and shimmery, and the purple is ok. The other colors are horrible. Chalky, unpigmented, ugly in general. Waste of 8 dollars. Want good quality drugstore shadows? Try Wet 'n' Wild. Their new formulas are buttery smooth and beautiful.
I purchased this gloss in Vixen. I do have medium pigmented lips, and this gloss just added a hint of color. It's a very sheer reddish pink. I do like the smell strangely.. haha. I read that vixen's scent was slightly different from others, so I'm not sure. It's somewhat sticky and not long wearing, the clicky tube and brush tip does do it justice though. I love the design, and will repurchase. I'm also thinking about trying some luscious liquid lipstick, to see if they work better.
I love this eyeshadow. One of my HG products! CG has totally upped the amp on their eyeshadow formulations, this is so so so so so smooth and creamy feeling. A little bit of fallout wiht this e/s but it's well worth it. Just tap off your brush and it's good to go. I find a brush works better with this e/s because it's so smooth, even though I do like sponge applicators for packing on color. This pinky/gold/bronze/gold/brown color is good for all eye and skin colors. Love it! (p.s. I use a drugstore eye primer and brush with this and it looks amazing)
I love this balm! I always want a simple tinted balm to give me a flush of color, and this is perfect. It glides on so smoothly and absorbs quickly. The color is beautiful. It is quite tinted, which I love. The Burt's bees tinted balm was $7 and def not as tinted or smooth as Nivea. This was $3 at Rite Aid, and I will definetly repurchase!
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad - Coffee Shop

I love this quad so much!!! I got it about 2 years ago, and it's holding up well, except for the fact the brown cracked and fell out :( anyway, the colors are nicely pigmented and I especially love the gold as a lid color. I LOVE THIS! Go and buy it!
