Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. II [DISCONTINUED]

I also got this palette from my boyfriend as a Christmas present, and I love it! I personally am an eyeshadow junkie and I love that this palette contains a variety of colors. Unlike some of the other palettes, this one has colors that are wearable. The only color I did not like is also the Midnight Cowboy Rides Again; it really is chunky glitter. There are some shimmery neutral colors in this palette that can be used everyday. My favorite color is ecstasy, which is this really pretty purple. It's not a color that you can wear everyday, unless you use it subtly, but it's really beautiful. It can be a little difficult to pull out the part that contains the eyeshadow, but I heard it's improved from the Book of Shadows Vol. 1, so that's good. I do not really use the mirror because I have my own that I can bring up close to my face. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who loves makeup. It may seem a little expensive, but you know that you're going to use it then it is totally worth it!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Redness Soothing Facial Wash gel

I decided to try this because I heard from somewhere that its a good cleanser, but after trying it I feel that it's no different form other cleansers. Yes, it smells great and I bought it for around 7 dollars from Wegmans, but I didn't think it soothed my skin. It was just a basic cleanser that somewhat prevented pimples from coming. Nothing is special about it. I do not recommend it and I do not believe it does what it claims to do.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Cream

This can really dry your skin out if you don't use moisturizer after applying this. When you use this with a moisturizer, I think this works really well. I'm young, so I don't exactly need this for wrinkles, but I have lines on my forehead (i don't know why). I can see that my skin looks smoother the next morning. It doesn't smell good, I believe it smells like sulfur. It is a product worth trying out! Just use a pea-size every other night with moisturizer afterwards!

Cleansers -Aveeno - Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser

I have combination/oily skin. I bought this cleanser because I wanted a gentle cleanser that wouldn't dry my skin out; this worked out fine for that aspect. I have acne too, but it's not too bad, so I'm not purposely using this for acne. If you want something that clears your acne, this wouldn't do the job. What I do is use this cleanser, use a non-oily moisturizer, and then use an anti-acne treatment. I wouldn't buy this again because it didn't exactly wow me. It smells nice though, and I like the green semi-shiny leaves on the front.

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub

This product stung my during first few uses. It didn't sting anymore once I started using it more often, but it sure did irritate my skin too much. Even though some people say that it's gentle enough for a scrub to use everyday, I do not agree. My skin is acne-prone, so it did help with that. I also love how my skin feels really soft after I use it, but because it irritates my skin, I'd only use it once a day. If I didn't have sensitive skin, the product probably would've been better. For people who have sensitive skin, I'd suggest you try it out first at a friend's house before buying it. (The smell is kind of weird too.)

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Acne Stress Control Foam Wash

This cleanser smells nice and the color of it looks great too, but when it comes to doing its job, it's not really great at it. After using it, my face feels clean, but it doesn't really get rid of my acne as well as the Neutrogena Oil-free Cleanser (the one that's orange and is gel-like). Also after using it around ten times the pump thing that you press doesn't pop back up after pushing it down so every morning and night, when I use it, I need to pull it back up, which is an annoyance to me.
