Powder -Hourglass - Oxygen Mineral powder

This broke me out with cystic acne as well! I didn't want to drive to the nearest Bloomies or NM to get my La Prairie Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder Finish (I use beige dore-medium color) so I purchased this from Sephora in a pinch. I returned it after a few uses since I was breaking out. I love the Hourglasss Cream-to-powder Bronzer Duo though. It never breaks me out and I can even use it on t-zone area without a problem. For those of you looking for the perfect foundation powder go try La Prairie!!!!! I swear by this and I NEVER break out while using it. It can be used wet or dry. I buy one every six months and change out the sponge to help keep the powder from cracking and build-up of those oil spots from touching up my shiny face . Hope this review helps!

Lotions/ Creams -Epicuren Discovery - Epicuren After Bath Kukui Coconut Body Moisturizer

I love, love this lotion! I have super sensitive skin and usually have to buy unscented lotions. I think the ingredients are usually what I have the most problems with...like itching from the fragrance or the cheap oils most ones have. This has helped clear up the bumps on the back of my arms that have been so hard for me to get rid of!! This makes your skin glow and without a sticky residue. Def try it!! I love it so much I purchased it in the 16oz bottle. **One Epicuren item that isn't on here is the Colostrum Cream for the face. For those of you with problematic skin (rosacea, cystic acne on chin or jawline due to hormones or diet) you should give this a try. My skin responds so well to it. I don't use a ton of it and I feel like my skin is now very balanced and you can't see my fine lines as much as before!! The best is that I haven't had a breakout since!!

Treatments -Renee Rouleau - Anti-cyst treatment

This product made my cyst worse!!!! It got bigger and irritated around the edges!! I need to send it back! I had to go pay for a high-frequency treatment from my derm!:( I don't like cortisone shots because they have left indentions in my face from a derm that put too much in one time. -So, I went back to my HG product and won't stray again! It's by Decleor. The Aromessence Ylang Ylang Purifying Serum. I put this on my t-zone, chin and jaw line every morning and night. I can even put my makeup over it after it has soaked in a bit. When I feel one coming I put it on a few times a day to keep it from getting bigger or coming up at all. This stuff usually settles it in a few days instead of weeks to get rid of!! I also have found that staying AWAY from dairy has helped with my cystic acne. Probiotics also help balance the skin as well. There are really good liquid ones at Whole Foods in the vitamin/cold section. I like the blueberry or the strawberry apple one. Hope this info helps someone else!

Shampoo -Rene Furterer - Okara Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair

I love this shampoo and the mask as well. I only use the mask (which is the matching conditioner, they call it a mask) on the ends, not on my roots. Makes my dark hair bouncy and shiny! Never over-moisturizing, it will still hold curl. My other favorite shampoo/cond duo isn't on here to review. If you want to switch things up without wasting money, try Davines Melu shampoo and conditioner. Makes my long hair super shiny and bouncy!! I get compliments on how my hair smells when I use both of these great products! Also, Rene makes a great hairspray (comes in a dark green can) and an Okara serum to use on your curls to set them. My hair looks amazing on day 2 without needing to curl again!

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

I have been using this for a few years now. A makeup artist told me about it when I was at a photo shoot. I love how it makes me look bright-eyed! Especially in photos and late at night. I apply it on my brow bone and in the corners of my eyes to lighten the shadows. I use under my eyes in place on concealer for moderate dark circles and just above my slight bags. It doesn't settle in the fine lines like most concealers do. This is a "highlighter" so be sure to apply it correctly so that you don't highlight your flaws! I put a little around my lips and on the middle part of my upper lip (bow) to make my lips look fuller. At night I put a tad on my cheek bones to catch the light. Can't live without it!

Skincare - Body -Weleda - Pomegranate

Obsessed with this pomegranate line!! I reviewed the hand cream too. It does come in a travel kit so you can try all 3. The body oil is my favorite!! It has helped the wrinkles on my stomach (from when you sit and drive and from your jeans! ha) and I've noticed the lines between my breast are so much less noticeable. My arms get so dry and the creases on the bend by my elbow are less crepey too. I slather it on! Most creams/oils are greasy and never seem to soak in or if they do, they don't keep my skin glowing. This stuff even works in the humid summer months in Florida when I visit my sister. I live in Souther California. Enjoy!

Lotions/ Creams -Weleda - Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream

I love this pomegranate line! I also use the body wash and the body oil after a bath or shower. Delicious!!! They even make a mini travel set which I have myself and have bought for so many friends that are now hooked!! Makes my skin so soft and stays that way after a few hand washes while at work. I usually apply twice. Once am and once pm. I do wish this tube didn't have sharp ends. It snagged my sweater! You don't need much...a little goes a long way! I bought this for stocking stuffers this year for my family. It comes with gloves to put on and let the cream soak in overnight.

Powder -La Prairie - Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder

I hope I'm reviewing the right product. Mine comes in a long silver compact with a mirror and sponge. Maybe this picture is the old one. Anyway, I love it! I only have to apply it once and it keeps my skin flawless! I usually break out with powders and this hasn't caused my skin to clog-up or irritate my eczema. I usually buy the refill sponges and switch them up every month. It has lasted me a year doing this and the powder still looks fresh and not oily in spots in the compact like other powders do. I wish they offered a mini version for evenings out or when carrying a teenie clutch so it would fit for a quick touch-up. Worth the money!

Blush -La Prairie - Cellular Radiance Cream Blush in Rose Glow

I use this in the Honey Glow. I have olive skin. I love how this blush stays put all night and makes you literally glow from within. It blends like a dream! You don't need much. I wish it came in a squeeze tube. I hate touching products in open form like this compact. This has lasted me over a year and I will prob last another 6 months. Love it!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

This flaked all over the place. The formula is too drying. I prefer the L'oral telescopic in blackest black. Makes my lashes soo long and people always ask if they are fake! Quick tip-take your time applying and don't brush your lashes fast. Slow and several applications does the trick!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I did like the bulk it gave my lashes. Like 60's mod lashes. The wand is too thick though and I couldn't reach the corners very well at all. Applying to my lower lashes was a total challenge. This mascara irritated my sensitive, contact lens wearing eyes. I did find a mascara that gives me longer lashes that go past my eyebrows! L'oreal telescopic in blackest black. Obsessed!! No irritation either! One thing, you have to get used to this skinny wand. Take your time applying and don't brush fast. This is how you achieve the longest lashes ever! I get tons of compliments and people asking if they are fake!!

Treatments (Eye) -Origins - Starting Over Age erasing eye cream with Mimosa

I love this eye cream for the wrinkled skin above my lashes and the upper eyes in general. It has a slight lifting affect on the skin. I also use it on my crows feet area and it seems to keep them less crepey. Not a bad price and lasts a long time. I hate products in open tubs and would rather this come in a squeeze tube or a pump container!! It doesn't irritate my skin or itch my eyes at all. I can use under eye shadow and it won't feel greasy or cause creasing.

I use this product to shrink the puffy bags under my eyes. I wish it helped the dark circles and the fine lines too. Most eye creams make me itch or cause little bumps and this doesn't. Put it in the fridge and keep it cold. Works even better! You will have to use a different creams for the other two issues I mentioned above. I've never found an eye cream that literally does it all.

Liquid -Jane Iredale - Liquid Minerals

I love this foundation. First of all, the ingredients are actually good for your skin. It never makes me break out. I usually get cystic acne when I use foundations. You have to apply it in a particular way. I use a contour sponge to apply it. It keeps the liquid from drying out and the sponge helps it glide across your face. I ALWAYS apply immediately after my moisturizer BEFORE it dries completely. Then I let it dry while I do my eyes. I then set it with a light amount of loose powder. I find that my Decleor Expression De' Lage Smoothing Cream moisturizer works best under this makeup and acts a primer to help it stay put. Jane makes great makeup that works wonders on my sensitive skin. I always look flawless in the sun and in photographs. I use the honey bronze color that helps even out the slight redness in my sensitive skin. You should definitely go to a spa that knows the line well to help you pick out the proper color for your skin.

Treatments -Decleor - Aromessence Neroli

I love this stuff for for congestion in my nose and chin area. If I feel a blemish coming on I usually put this on and then ylang ylang oil over that. Blemish gone in a few days! I ran out of this oil and purchased the night balm for fall winter. You don't need much and I have less mess with it when traveling. I also put this under my makeup when getting on the plane if I'm going from my dry climate (Los Angeles) to a humid climate like Florida. It keeps me moisturized without feeling greasy when landing! Excellent!
