I have the type of chemistry that tends to suck the life out of a perfume so I always like to wear something that is considered a strong scent. While in Paris I was assured by a saleswoman that Chergui is strong. On me though,it's not. It starts out with soft powdery incense and quickly dries down to a sweet amber. While I realize that most of the notes are not there for me, I still really enjoy Chergui and it lasts about 6 hours on my skin which is decent considering my chemistry.. I have received many compliments, from young and old, male and female, ranging from 'something smells goooood" to "you smell niiiiice". To me, that's a huge compliment and a sign of a well crafted perfume.
A giant migraine inducing masculine mess!
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this product. It really is great. I discovered it a year ago and haven't gone a day without it. I have long, thick, wavy hair that is prone to tangles and major poofage. No matter what products I used and no matter how long I spent styling, my hair would inevitably end up looking like I had been in a windstorm within 30 minutes or so. Even worse, there was never a way to try and fix it because attempting to run a brush/comb through my hair ends up with the major poofage turning into something horribly beyond imagination. Now, Joico's Curl Activator is the only styling product I use. I just spray it in and maybe spend a minute scrunching and let my hair dry naturally. I end up with soft, bouncy waves and lots of shine....lasts all day and stays tangle free.
Liquid -Guerlain - Parure Aqua Fluid Foundation SPF 20

This foundation, while being a great match for my skin tone, was overall a big disappointment. I bought this because I noticed even though I wear a bit of powder, I still have a white cast from my spf when a photo is taken of me. I thought perhaps wearing a foundation would give me a healthier look. I never got the chance to find out because after a couple of times wearing this, I sent it back to Sephora. I am lucky to have nice skin..really nice skin... or so I thought. This foundation made my skin look horrible..it accented pores and lines I didn't even know were there. It had a sticky and heavy feel..the kind of feeling that makes you want to wash your face because it feels dirty and grimey. Worst of all, it dried out my skin horribly..to the point of redness and flakes. Normally, I am a fan of Guerlain but Aqua Parure is a big NO for me. I will stick to my powder and looking paler than pale in photos.
