I adore the colorstay eyeliner pencil and when I saw that Revlon had a promotion on their whole range, I picked up two of the liquid eye pen. When I tried it on the back of my hand it was easy to apply, very black, smudge proof and waterproof. However, on my eyes, it smudged and is NOT waterproof. In the humid weather, the eyeliner would run and lose its colour after an hour. Also, for a drugstore brand, it wasnt cheap. If there wasnt a special deal on it, it was just under $100HKD.

Pros- light texture, quick and easy to absorb onto the skin, hygienic pump dispenser Cons- expensive, scented, broke out with pimples and red itchy rashes, heavy bottle

Pros- Removes stubborn mascara, gentle on my eyes, dont need a lot of the product Cons- pricey for such little product and for a drugstore brand, difficult to find in HK- I went to Bonjour, Sasa, Mannings but found it in Watsons

Pros- Lightweight, non greasy, good value for money, have not tanned in the 3 weeks of usage Cons- lotion spills all over the container when pouring out, very drying, skin developed a few flesh coloured bumps, flakey

These patches are not clear, its like a proper plaster so if you do accidently go out with one stuck on your face then you could say that you have a cut on your face. The patches are rather big compared to other acne patches. Another difference is that these patches have a gel so when you apply in on the pimple, it has a cooling effect but as it is a gel patch, the skin has to be absolutely DRY when you stick it on, otherwise the patch will not adhere properly. It has on the packaging that it contains a proven acne fighting ingredient that works all night and visibly reduces redness in days, non irritating and non drying. Whilst it is non drying and non irritating, it does not reduce redness that great- but it does say "days" and one weeks is 7 "days" so its not lying there. I've used the patches all day and night on my pustle, papules and cystic bumps and it works on the former 2 but very slowly, and does not work on cystic bumps. Its priced the same-ish as my other acne patches and works the same though it doesnt absorb secretion well. Theres 3 packages in a box, with each containing 8 patches, which is good as the other patches wont be exposed but for the cons mentioned above I will not be re-purchasing these

Review based on the Aloe vera conditioner When I read that haircare could contribute to increased acne and whilst I went through a natural skincare phase, I changed over to organic, natural shampoos and conditioners but soon went back to my trusty Pantene Pros- All natural, good value for money, simple packaging Cons- Left a greasy residue on my scalp, can only be purchased online, hair was not soft after usage

Lotions/ Creams -Korres - Fig body milk

Pros- Sweet scent that is not too overpowering, mid range price, readily available in store, natural Cons- Not moisturising- it says on the packaging that it has a powdery texture and it sure does. My 9ml sample sachet was just about enough for the whole body cos even when I have applied it, that part of the body still felt dehydrated and dry. It doesnt apply easily unless the skin is damp. The main reason I use body lotion/cream is for the moisture, but as this body milk does not deliver, I will not be repurchasing this

Pros- Intense black colour, soft, smooth, does not tug the eyes, pigmented, natural, mid range price, widely available, easy to remove Cons- Smudges a little, not waterproof, racoon eyes if I tightline, not automatic Would not repurchase, as I prefer Revlons colorstay

Pros- reduces the size and redness of the pimple. Less noticeable patch, compared to Nexcare and Kuan Yuan Lian. Cons- Does not work for cystic acne. Its the most expensive patch that I've used. Does not list the ingredients. One sized patch.

Due to the ads showing that the products are meant to be salon quality, I fell for it as the price is affordable and the bottles are huge so its good value for money. But yikes, left my hair greasy and oily and weighed it down. It left an oily residue on the roots and within a couple of hours of washing my hair, I had to re-wash it as it was terribly greasy. All Tresemme shampoos are like this!

Shampoo -Pantene - Classic Clean shampoo

Have been repurchasing this for years on and off. As with all Pantene shampoos and haircare, the scent is very strong and can be detected the day after washing your hair. However, the product leaves my hair feeling and looking clean and shiny. It detangles my hair and most of the time I can skip conditioner as the shampoo already provides a soft feeling to the hair. A good affordable shampoo that I will keep going back to

Shampoo -Pantene - Moisture Renewal Shampoo

One of the worst range i have used from Pantene. I have oily roots and wash my hair nearly every day. The shampoo leaves a terrible waxy residue on my roots and has caused a few breakouts on my forehead and around my face. Not recommended unless you have very dry hair

Receieved a generous trial tube from the pantene website and have been using it for the past month. Only a little is needed for a good lather and it leaves the hair very smooth and soft- not frizzy at all. Most shampoos leave a residue on my hair no matter how well I rinse, but this shampoo does not. My hair looks healthy, has a shine and does not tangle in the morning. Recommended, but I will not be buying it again as it is slightly more expensive that the classic care, which delivers equally good results but a bit cheaper

Pros- mattifies my oily roots, cheap, easily accessible Cons- an old lady's scent, strong scent- must use in a well ventilated area, leaves a white residue (I have black hair), might have been a cause of breakouts on my forehead
