This is a gorgeous blue, as with all the shiseido hydro shadows i own, i love love LOVE it. This is one of the things in my makeup case that make me actually use that lock! lol. if i lost this baby i'd be heartbroken. Shisiedo is really onto something with this line of shadows :) one of my BEST blues!!!! the shadow is thick and creamy, very pigmented and applies soooo smoothy! absolutely gorgeous! i only wish they had more colors, then again i'd probably be broke! lol

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE LAST POSTER!!! i was sooo disappointed in Mac's Vanilla pigment which had awesome reviews. Now that i have tried this one, i am a die hard shiseido promoter :) THIS IS WAAAAAY BETTER THAN MAC! It's the PERFECT Winter White. It gives my eyes a nice glow and i can use it subtlely enough for everyday wear, (yes easily an everyday look!) or dramatically for going out. the cream i dont too much care for in an eyeshadow, but since i discovered UDPP i swear there is no difference. i use the primer first and the white is just as bright as it is in the pot & yes it lasts all day (altho, powdered shadows last overnight with UDPP) i didnt know even i could wear white eyeshadow so gorgeously, im tan skin tone and ive always thought whites look best on darker skin, but alas sisters, thanks to this baby you cant stake a claim on the white eye shadow anymore!!! :D i totally recommend for anybody. I love shiseido eye shadows, they are beautiful and altho i was hesitant about buying this one along with the pink, i havent even used the pink yet since i tried this one first, lol. THUMBS UP, LADIES its worth the $23 (ouch) but knowing this jar from other colors i own & adore, i dont see needing another one for a w h i l e!

omgosh i dont see, how can something get such high reviews and be a total miss for me. i am coming from smashbox as a highlighter, i dont know the color exactly i received it in a swap and it was in a trio. i used the white flawlessly as my brow bone and inner corner highlighter, absolutely gorgeous, i may have to track it down and buy it - when that crumbled, LOL, i began using my too faced carribean blush (the white part) as replacement (also received in a swap THANKS) that worked gorgeously and i still use it. soooo i thought hey i like mac this one will be perfect, i need a good solid reliable white, well guess what, it shows up totally PINK on me. i never knew my skin undertones were so questionable. my lil sis says she sees gold, i see mostly pink, and somewhat flourescent pink at that! which as you can imagine makes it hard to wear many colors of eyeshadow with :( i just dont know wut happened. im looking for other ways to make this work 4me be4 i give up on it. . . suggestions are always awesome ladies <3

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

the reviews on here are awesome, im so psyched to try this product. i have oily lids and deep creases, LOL so eyeshadow has about a 5 minute perfection life on me then its either gone or into my crease completely. i bought this last night so i dont have the full effect to review on but i tried it on last nght and slept in my shadow, which is typically a houdini act, but voila so suprised over 10 hours later my shadow is still vibrant and kicking and looks exactly as i applied it. i am impressed so far and cant wait to see if it lives up to my expectations. i was so excited i had to review. i am an eyeshadow groupie, but with my creases, its very frustrating to have to pull my brushes out a couple hours later and redo the look :(. this primer kept the color BOLD with no creasing. i'd have to agree this is an eyeshadow genie, cant wait to try it with shadow lining my lower lash line. i am reserving the highest 5 lip rating until i have more proof, but it is very affordable, i think $16, much cheaper than shelac, ease to use is awesome. i am very happy right now, too bad it took me 24 years tofind this product!!!! <3

Conditioner -Organix - Tahitian Vanilla Silk Conditioner

this is way way better than the coconut conditioner. i wont be buying that again. that said these conditioners dont do miracles for my hair which is pretty easy to control as hair goes :) lol it could be worse. BUT the main thing that is so awesome about this brand is that i have discovered i can rock my hair wavy from the shower using this conditioner alone. before my hair would be gorgeous... for 15 minutes, lol then POOF. now i apply this condiitoner in the shower comb thru rinse and reapply or just comb thru (with a wide tooth) and let dry depending on how im feeling (havent noticed a difference in the effects) the combing the conditioner thru is the most important part if you dont do it ladies, trust me that makes a big difference. so anyways yea the smell is okay, i personally find herbal essences better. its funny how the cheap stuff smells way better than the more expensive hair products. and im a love the smell kinda girl. but this one when i rinse does make my hair silky, the coconut one was not a success at that. il be repurchasing this and will def. keep one on hand for days i feel curly. but i doubt it will ever be the only conditioner i ever use. it is good at str8 styling as well but i dont feel like it is as good as the expensive brands i tend to use.

Bronzers -Stila - Sun Gel

ive had this for awhile and havent reviewed cuz i wanted to make sure i like it. now that i basically use it daily and its a staple whenever i am going out, i can safely say this is one of my HGs. Im a mixed girl with already tan skin tone but this makes my skin look even better. the ladies are absolutely right - dont even attempt to use this without a moisturizer, at least i havent and wouldnt and if you see it from the bottle you will know why. that said i dont mix it with any moisturizer anymore. i have been using almond oil on my skin for awhile now and i began mixing it with that. gives me a smooth tan color, slight bronzy but really, cant even tell i am wearing anything. i dont wear foundation so the way it evens out my face color is awesome. it is worth trying if youre looking for a daily pep and face is smooth enough to go without foundation. the best part of all i got mine for $10 or so from ebay :) i love a bargain. but for how i have used this if i can find it cheaply i dont mind buying at full price. please dont discontinue. Good Job Stila !!!

Shampoo -Organix - Tea Tree Mint Shampoo

overall, just not impressed. the smell is not that great, herbal essences is much better. I dont see any remarkable cleaning power, honestly my hair doesnt even feel cleaner while im using it, i can usually get my hair to almost "squeak" clean, with this its not happening. in fact i did an olive oil treatment and used this to wash it out, i had to wash 3 times and i still was not satisfied that my hair was getting any cleaner. and i do not have difficult hair. the smell is nice -in the bottle. the bottle is cute, thats y i bought this. i used witht he coconut conditioner, whil ei may try th conditioner again, i will not buy this stuff again. i doubt i will even finish the bottle i have. its worth trying i guess, but its also worth skipping & saving the $6, you are not missing a thing with this one! oh, it lathered great for me tho, not that that made a difference :)

Conditioner -Organix - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner

idyllick 7/29/2008 4:28:00 PM

stil undecided as to whether i will buy this again or not. I unlike everyone else, lol do not like the smell. It was alright in target, but not great at home, actually kinda unpleasant on my hair. I bought because I liked the small size, portable and the coconut sounded like a good ingredient. One thing i luv about this conditioner that i have not seen any others do quite as well is the way it holds my curls for a wet look. I can create a wet look on my mixed hair using this conditioner as a leave in and nothing else. When i add mousse it looks even that much better. i am willing to try other conditioners and see if i can get as good an effect now that i know its possible and if not il return to this one. Otherwise i am unimpressed. ive seen garnier leave my hair silkier and herbal essences even does a better job of rinsing with a better smell. for now the only thing this qualifies for is a leave in curly look which is awesome when im in a rush. very affordable, cute bottle, very portable. overall not anything to write home about. I'l update you ladies if i find out otherwise tho.

Treatments -ENJOY - Conditioning Spray
rated 5 of 5
idyllick 5/4/2008 10:46:00 AM

i love this leave in spray. it makes my hair very soft and manageable. i have tried to find cheaper alternates in other lines, but so far nothing is as good as this stuff. it costs $18 which is alot, but it does last a couple of months. it makes hair healthy and the results are noticiable right away. it is worth trying. i gave a 3 on packaging because the odd shape of the bottle does not fit comfortably in my hand, but i make it work. i have repurchased this consistently since discovering about 2 years ago (recommeneded by my stylist) and as I said i havent found any conditionig spray better.

rec'd in a swap had been on my wishlist for awhile. could not be happier. luv luv luv this. it makes me want a better blush brush, and the bronzy glimmer does highlight pores sometimes, but i just blend with my fingers when that happens & its fixed. i use this for cheeks and then i dab my brush only on the white section and use that to highlight my nose, chin and forehead. finish up with the 3 or sideways M if u know what that means. this gives me a gorgeous natural tan, shimmer. perfect. and im not fair person for ref. i am mixed, like alicia keys shade, light, or tan.

Masks -Freeman - Pure Ambition Purifying Facial Clay mask with Avocado and Oatmeal
rated 3 of 5
idyllick 2/13/2008 10:41:00 PM

this is a must for me. i have to say no other product i have ever used erases acne scars like this $3 mask!!!! the best thing you can do for acne scars is hold a fresh wet peice of aloe vera plant on the scar before its old for like 15 minutes as often as you want to - the scar will not be as dark right away and it will fade faster. aloe vera is AMAZING i shit you not. ok so that said, when i cant get aloe vera on my face in time, i KNOW this mask will help get rid of the scars superbly fast. i have used the juice beauty apple peel and i honestly feel that (maybe its just my skin) this has a much better visible effect on acne scars. The only thing thats more effective that i have seen is a microdermabrasion. and even then i combine it with this mask. the results are super, even after only one use. but as another reviewer said its mild enough to use regularly. anywho, this is my first time using the new formula so im keeping my fingers crossed that it will be as good to me as my last bottle which lasted me a good 5 years, LOL. i recommend this highly, whether it has a firming effect, i dont know, all i know is this is a must have for those pesky acne scars!!! EDIT - i have to say the new formula is no where near as great as the old one. its a good cheap pick me up, but... not a miracle mask... the juice beauty is way better than this new formula. in fact i do not like the new formula.

Eye Shadow -Sephora - Piiink my Miniii Eyeshadow Glam's Black
rated 5 of 5
idyllick 2/9/2008 6:38:00 PM

i absolutely love this black shadow. it has glitter. i want to say when i first learned to crease my shadows & got interested in the smoky eye, i ran out and bought mac satin, blackest black i guess. could not use. i luv mac shadows!!!! they are the best out. but for black this is one i absolutely cannot live without. it has glitter, which i adore :) girly to the max. it is very pigmented, but not too scary, if u know what i mean. i have mac satin up for swap. this costs me $4 and i would pay $40 for what it delivers. It shimmers and stays in place, unlike my macs which end up everywhere but my crease by the end of the day. its perfect and i highly recommend for anyone who is turned off thinking black is too dark to work with. you cn easily layer it, it blends superbly and i can say enough good things about it. super hot!!!

Masks -MyChelle - Fruit Fiesta Peel

I am iffy on whether I will try this again. I think I saw better results with the pumpkin peel. I used this one twice, both times following with the blueberry mask and I just did not see as good after effects as with the pumpkin peel. It is better than nothing however and wil def. improve someones skin, but imo i would rather buy the pumpkin for my $$. i suggest anyone considering spend $3 on the trial size and decide if you like it, its def. worth $3 :) BTW the blueberry mask is the best out!!! im considering buying and using every other day and seeing what results i have after a month or so, if theyre spectacular i will def. update. I recommend trying this peel, pumpkin peel or the blueberry mask as they are def. good products and have superb results.

Lip Gloss -Burt's Bees - Strawberry Lip Gloss
rated 3 of 5
idyllick 1/5/2008 4:54:00 PM

i wanted to like this, but i cant. its too thin and altho my lips are not particularly dry, this gave them no moiusture at all. it doesnt last more than 2 seconds and it just does not do anything, by way of glossing or moisterizing. ill stick with carmex, or sephoras lip wax, which is still my fave. POST EDIT: i must say i still keep this around. i have long nails and what i do for glosses in the pot is heat them up (even in a microwave if u have no other option, i use my potable heater tho close it as tightly as you can first of course) turn it upside down and let the pot cool off. the gloss will melt to the top of the pan and then when you open it you can just smooth it directly on ur lips from the container. works for me with every pot gloss i have tried. altho the burts bees is not that moisterizing it is much better than nothing in a crunch, i even prefer it over my ever faithful carmex becuz of the smell. does not have lasting power whatsoever tho, old critique still stands & i will not repurchase, but its worth a try. if you are a lip gloss fiend like i am!

Masks -MyChelle - Blueberry Antioxidant Mask [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
idyllick 1/5/2008 4:41:00 PM

LOVE this mask! i used it after the pumpkin peel and i think it is very comparable to a facial at a spa. i usually get microdermabrasion and with these two treatments i saw results that were close to being just as good! soft skin, glowing, tighter, and more evened. and since they have trial sizes how can you go wrong! i just want to say that is an excellent idea, kudos Mychelle on your trial sizes! its a smart way to introduce women to your products and build a great customer base!!! i cant wait to try more from this line :) & for the cost i can add this to my regular beauty regime!!
