I suffer from moderate borderline severe acne problem,I have lots of hyper pigmentation spots also. For everyday I feel comfortable just wearing bb cream since it has enough SPF to prevent my dark spots to darken even more and evens out my patchy skin tone.I don't mind the spots showing through. I tried the Lioele beyond the solution bb cream and I enjoyed it during the colder months because its also pretty moisturizing but during the hotter months it was just too much for my oily combo skin and thought I will give this one a try and it was perfect! The formulation is very liquidy and light. If you have dry spots make sure to exfoliate and put extra moisturizer on those dry spots so the bb cream won't cling. Compare to other western bb creams this bb cream coverage is the best,it's buildable light to medium (by 3rd layer). The only complaint i have is the packaging,I wish it has a pump considering its so runny and can get very messy if you're not careful. So far this is my HG for western bb cream and will repurchase it again.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in Fairest Nude

My mom gave this lipstick to me because she knows I only wear nude lipsticks. I like the color but I don't like the smell,for me it's too strong. I noticed that the formula is a bit drying but I always wear lip balm underneath any lipstick so I never experience chapped lips because of this lipstick. All in all I will continue on using the one I have but I will not repurchase, I like the rimmel long lasting Kate Moss collection lipstick better and it's cheaper.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

I love this cleanser,it's so gentle on my face and I'm suffering from hormonal cystic acne and always have blemish on my face. I like using this cleanser with my clarisonic Mia 2 and for everyday I only wear bb cream as my base makeup and this cleanser takes it all off. As for my eye makeup I use olive oil and wipe it with cotton round and use this cleanser to wash of the oil residue. I will repurchase this once I'm done with a couple of cleanser I'm currently using.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Kate Moss 14

I'm a nude lipstick addict,that's all I wear on my lips. I really like this warmer tone nude and look really pretty with or without gloss. Some complain that it's drying but because its made to last the formula is on the drier side but for me at least it's creamy enough that I don't have any complain about it. I also put on lip balm before any lipstick to smooth out the texture of my lips. I will be repurchasing once I'm done with the one I have now.

Makeup Brushes -Essence - Gel Eyeliner Brush

I only own 2 eyeliner brushes this one and another one from Clinique that came with the gel eyeliner. With that being said,I can't compare it with other eyeliner brushes such as sigma,Mac,etc. but I think for the price this is a pretty good brush. I just wish the brush isn't so skinny coz everytime I dip the brush the gel eyeliner got to side of the brush no matter how light my hand was but its not a big deal and I recommend this brush as a cheaper alternative if you're looking for budget friendly eyeliner brush.

For the price you can't go wrong with this eyeliner. I don't like black eyeliner, I think it's too harsh for everyday look. Eventho this eyeliner isn't my HG eyeliner but I still like it and it last a full day but easy to get it off. Plus the felt tip makes it so easy to apply. If you're beginner with makeup and still learning how to apply liquid eyeliner,give this one a try. You'll like it!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

I'm a huge fan of neutral eyeshadow color (browns,taupe,champagne,soft pink) so when I heard so much good thing about this palette I made a special trip to Walgreens just to purchase this item. I have hooded eyes so when I applied the eyeshadow according to the instruction on the eyeshadows it turned me into an 80s disco ball! It's soooo shimmery! I expect the brow bone and eyelid colors to be somewhat shimmery but not expecting the brown to be overly shimmery and turns lighter when it transfer to your crease. It emphasize my hooded eyes even more. Now I use the pink and the ivory colors in my inner corner but I never seem to be reaching for the browns,so I will not repurchase this palette.

This is my fave cleanser at the moment. I was looking for a gentle fragrance free cleanser and stumble upon this one, heard good things about it so I picked it up. My go to gentle cleanser was cetaphil for oily/combo skin but I wanted to try something new and I really like this. Not drying on my cheeks and I also use this to get rid of oily residue on my eye area after I take off eye makeup with olive oil. Will repurchase for sure!

I'm really trying to love this foundation but I just cant.Eventho i like the coverage it gives me it also makes my already large pores even larger and that never happed to me using my other foundations,ever! especially after i put my benefit poreless primer under it,once i put this foundations I can see tiny dots,it was sorta like the foundation sets into my pores.Other may not agree with me but it also feels heavy on my skin and because I have acne scars I want to cover, I would like to add second layer but it is impossible to do that without making your face look cakey.This foundation is a miss for me and I dont really care about the heavy glass jar packaging.oh I almost forgot,if you have those dry acne spots this foundation will cling to it and enhanced the appearance even more so make sure to exfoliant before you put it on.

LOVE this moisturizer! it is everything I wanted for my daytime moisturizer.It's very light for my combo skin and my skin actually absorb this lotion instead of just feels like its sitting on my skin like the olay's lotion.My skin is acne-prone and sensitive but this lotion (so far) doesnt break me out and i have been using it for a month now despite of its being fragranced moisturizer.But if you are like me and have driy,flaky acne spots make sure you put an extra layer on those spots because of how light the lotion is.I also like the packaging and you algo get tons of product for less than $10.

Concealers -TheBalm - Time Balm

i really like this concealer but I only use it to cover my blemishes/acne scar but make sure you exfoliate any dry flaky skin on your trouble spots because eventho the pigmentation of this concealer will cover your red/dark spots it'll cling to your flaky skin like a mother and will enhaced it more.

I really wanted to like this bb cream because it was just what I needed. I love that it has spf and a higher coverage than other tinted moisturizer. I'm the shade "honey beige" on too faced amazing face foundation.I bought the medium/dark thinking that as my skin tan it'll match my skin but I was wrong the bb cream turned orange on my skin.however it did not break me out even with its strong fragrance.I really hate wasting products so I'll still use it when I'm taking my baby for a stroll during the day because of the spf just for the sake of using it but will not repurchased.

Toners -Simple - Soothing Skin Toner

This is hands down the best toner for acne-prone/sensitive skin.I also have combination skin,I'm very oily on my T-zone but dry on the cheeks because of the acne treatments i used. I have never experienced breakouts from using this toner. i've also used it to remove my eye makeup few times and it didnt sting or burn my eyes.Highly recomend this toner!

Moisturizers -Sephora - Instant Moisturizer

The moisturizer came with the clarisonic MIA 2. At the beginning I was so excited to try it because I was in need for a night cream but it broke me out very bad,and I'm not just talking about little pimples but big cystic acnes. I thought it was because of the clarisonic but after I stopped using the cream I didnt have any new acne. right now I only use it to moisturized my neck.
