Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush
iLoveYoutwo 5/6/2013 7:06:00 PM
I am forever a NARS Orgasm fan! I reviewed this product about 4-5 years ago. I still LOVE this blush. It is a BLUSH/HIGHLIGHTER/FACE SCULPTOR all in one for my pale, NC20 Asian skin. (My skin color is similar to Zhang Ziyi) I have oily skin (especially in the summer) and I need a mattifying powder to tone down the shine. However, I need to add back some luminosity in my skin because if I don't I look FLAT (but without using liquid!) and orgasm blush does it for me. It has very fine gold shimmer so it has a nice subtle sheen. I like it because skin doesn't naturally look matte! It last all day all night for me. This I know because when I remove my makeup with a cotton i can see it on the cotton. My face also looks more uplifted and even sculpted when I use this. My cheekbones look higher when I use this, and I can NEVER complete my look without this blush! If I could choose only one blush I would definitely choose NARS Orgasm. It would suit many different skintones unless you are very dark, it might not show up on you. It is nice all seasons but I love this the most in the spring and summer when dewy makeup is more suitable than the matte look. (In my opinion only) Choose NARS Orgasm for a youthful glow!!! I love it!!

Polishes -OPI - My Pointe Exactly
iLoveYoutwo 4/12/2013 7:17:00 PM
I am not sure if I like this polish. I chose this because the manicurist recommended it for nudes but it shows up as a boring grey color, it still does look sophisticated though. If you like super conservative looks you will like it. I still much prefer OPI bubble bath!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Copperplate
iLoveYoutwo 3/14/2013 5:38:00 PM
Wow, what a stunningly beautiful color! I am NC20, asian and to be honest I don't like eyeshadows because most of the time it looks too made up, or it screams "look at my eyeshadow" instead of look at my eyes. I don't really like shimmery colors in general because of this. Copperplate, I would describe it as a true shadow color. Like a color of a shadow. Being Asian, I need more depth and dimension in my eyes, and when I put this on my crease it adds instant depth, without drawing attention to the eyeshadow color, it draws attention to my eyes. I model as well and this looks great in photography. Highly recommended as a crease color. All over the lid may look a bit sallow, but that is just an opinion.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
iLoveYoutwo 3/14/2013 12:37:00 AM
I am NC20, asian girl with yellow undertones, and get oily throughout the day. You might think oily folks should stay away from highlights, but this powder highlighter "Soft and Gentle" is amazing. Highlighters always make me look like I've had work done (Without any surgery yay!) I model and when this is used it makes my face glow. I loved it when the makeup artist used this on me so much that I decided to get one my own. I did the ultimate test: I slept in this, and after I woke up it was still on, no fading, nothing. This product lasted me at least 10 hours!

Primer/ Corrector -Youngblood - Mineral Primer

I will never buy this product again, it clogged my pores, and I have whiteheads all over my face from this! Also, it clumps everywhere around my face. After 10 days of using, will be using it no more.

Lipstick -Clinique - Chubby Stick (all shades)
iLoveYoutwo 2/14/2013 8:07:00 PM
I have a confession..I ABSOLUTELY HATE lipsticks and lipglosses, although they look so gorgeous on any woman. They all feel horrible. Very waxy feeling, very "Im wearing something on my lips" feeling. I can't go living my life so bothered by the feeling of having sticky lip glosses...even the "non-sticky" lipglosses/lip sticks bother me so much! I have a collection of different lipsticks, and I end up not using them at all just because I hate the feeling of any lip products!!! (Except lip balms) So even though they look amazing, I gave up on all lip products with shine or color. It was really too bad for me as I think lip products transform the look and make one instantly polished. So I was searching for a lipbalm and found these from Clinique...I was thinking heck, I'll try it on, I'll probably not bother purchasing. Then I swipe once, I see bold color. I keep swiping it all over and I don't even feel a single thing on my lips, yet when I look in the mirror the color is there!!! I don't even feel that I have any lip balm and it looks so great. Only $19, I will be purchasing these FOREVER. Thanks to these chubby sticks I can wear lip color again without being bothered by how it feels on my lips :) So Ladies, if you are one of those who hate lip makeup then please please please give these a try.

Lip Treatments -Blistex - DCT for lips - Daily Conditioning Treatment SPF 20
iLoveYoutwo 2/10/2013 6:14:00 PM
This is a secret lip plumper + incredibly hydrating lip balm/ non surgical lip job in one. Whenever I use this people say "you have such nice plump lips" In reality, I have small lips. I think that when the lips are moisturized and conditioned, they look way more plump. Best cosmetic ever! and i only paid $3.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - Watt's Up!
iLoveYoutwo 1/28/2013 9:48:00 PM
I Love, love, love Watt's up. I tried this on my hand and thought...er...so orangey and bronzy looking... and thought it must be bad on NC20 fair asian skin. Then today I tried it and it looks SO good, my skin looks like a model's! I used High Beam for YEARS and used to think it was my HG, but after trying Watt's up, I feel that Watt's up is 1) Softer focus- it is finely milled 2) Doesn't have any silver-tones which may look better on pink undertone skin (I have warmness in my skin) 3) I look and feel more model like with Watt's up than High Beam If there is a cosmetic that makes a complete transformation to how I look, it is Watt's up. I really hope you dont discontinue it, I love it so much!!! Thanks for Watt's up I can have a healthy glow all the time! I get Oily throughout the day- and I feel that Watt's up is great for ppl with oily skin!

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Precious Cells
iLoveYoutwo 1/19/2013 6:33:00 PM
These days, I love the natural, effortless look! I am asian with wimpy puny lashes, and I used to have lash extensions which made my eyes WOW for 2 years but eventually I feel like they are ultimately plastics with glue. I was also using fake lashes on a daily basis for years and realized, they're not really mine, I'd rather show the world my lashes (Even though they are puny) The problem with Asian people (in general, and OPINION only! Don`t message me to say I am making mean remarks please!) is that they generally have small eyelashes compared to Westerners. When they try to put on mascara it usually ends up looking very spidery or clumpy, even though they still look bigger and more visible. When I walk on the streets most Asian girls I see have eyelashes that look globby and thick and doesn`t look soft to the touch. But of course that is my opinion only. Or that their eyelashes become huge compared to their eye size, Mascara is meant to bring out your natural beauty of eyes that everyone has, not draw attention to the lashes. (Opinion again) So I used to use volumizing eyelashes but most of them are so clumpy and heavy. I like drug store mascaras, but today I went in to a department store to try the Lancome Definicils Precious cells after seeing how great it looked on HSN- i really liked how the women looked enhanced, not made up which I like. It was love at first sweep! The small brushes allow every lash to be reached, and trust me I have small lashes. It built volume and length at a moderate level (but not so much it looked so make-up like) but again I like the effortless look more. And when I was done, I went home and touched my lashes and I was SHOCKED at how they felt like eyelashes, not like mascara! Every single mascara I have tried I have tried feel hard on my lashes. This may become my HG! I love love love this mascara. I just love how realistic my lashes look!

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Shimmer - Springsheen
iLoveYoutwo 1/13/2013 7:27:00 PM
This has become my favorite blush! I've tried lots of extremely popular blushes on MUA- NARS orgasm (Didn't show up on me) Dandelion (Ditto) Coralista (Too pink and clownish looking) A lot of blushes look too pink on me, and the sparkles are overwhelming for my face. Springsheen on my asian NC20 face: -Looks like a natural healthy glow -Never looks overdone -Makes my face sculpted and highlighted at the same time

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
iLoveYoutwo 1/9/2013 7:48:00 PM
I got this as a 100 pointer for Sephora. I thought, Clinique is not famous for their mascaras, this will probably go in the trash..well I was wrong. I have asian tiny little lashes and this one never clumps (A problem when your lashes are so small) and lengthens and volumizes without looking OTT. This is a little wetter formula which I personally prefer because dryer mascaras make my lashes look hard. And liquidy ones look more soft for me, and its more lightweight. This keeps curl well too, a common problem for asians! I was wearing this the other day, and a stranger (who is Caucasian and has beautiful lashes) commented on how great my lashes looked!!! Definitely will be buying full sized mascara!!

Concealers -Cle de Peau - Concealer - Beige
iLoveYoutwo 1/9/2013 1:02:00 PM
This legendary concealer is almost too good to be true. It is very pigmented, yet it is SO lightweight, and never cakes no matter how much I put on. It makes all dark circles disappear, without looking like makeup at all. I am NC20-25 and wear Beige which is perfect. I initially thought about going for Ivory but I think it will give the reverse raccoon effect.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast
iLoveYoutwo 1/6/2013 4:54:00 PM
I am an Asian girl with small thin eyelashes, and I've pretty much given up on mascaras. I've resorted to eyelash extensions which are AMAZING, but after having that on for 2 years, they feel like plastic glued on to me. Ive tried false lashes for 5 years and I like the look of them but I don't like the glue that much. After a while it gets old. I've tried almost every mascara that is popular on MUA. I've tried: Loreal Voluminous (made my little eyelashes weighed down and clumpy), Maybelline Volum Express (same), Benefit They're real (Just averge results from me, not enough thickening and clumpy) Full and Soft (does nothing) Diorshow (not thickening enough) Lancome Doll Lashes (Not volumizing) MAC zoom fast lash (Doesnt thicken lashes, doesnt hold a curl) ETC. I usually like Japanese mascaras better because I feel like they are better suited for small wimpy asian lashes, but I went in to a drugstore and bought the lash blast because it was just so popular and it's cheap, so I was like whatever, it probably won't do anything but I'll try it anyway. LOVE AT FIRST SWEEP!! It dramatically thickened my eyelashes, without making them CLUMP together!! Usually I cannot use mascara wands that are big because my lashes are small but with this one it was ok. I think the secret is in the brush that looks like a comb! I sweep more on to add the drama and still, no clumping!! My lashes look big from a distance and they don't look like spider legs! Amazing. I am totally a mascara girl again, Thank you Lash Blast for helping my little eyelashes:) I recommend it for girls who have given up on mascaras, to give Lash Blast a try, because I am HOOKED! Don't walk, run to buy this, and its only about 9 dollars. Please vote up if that was useful to you. Thank you!

Polishes -Butter London - Yummy Mummy
iLoveYoutwo 1/6/2013 1:35:00 AM
I really don't understand the MUA user' love for a color like Yummy Mummy. Basically Yummy Mummy is advertised as a nude color but it goes on a GREYISH brown on me which I don't like on anyone. I am NC 20 asian girl. Everyone has their likes I guess. I also don't like the You Don't Know Jacques color, I don't think it looks good on anybody either. Just my opinion!!! But gave 2 at least because of GREAT pigmentation. If you like a greyish brown with fine shimmer on your fingertips, you will like this! Too bad I don't like it. If you would like this polish please message me! I would like to swap it for come to bed red.

Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Oil -Free
iLoveYoutwo 1/4/2013 12:02:00 AM
I am really surpised by the low ratings on this product. I have NC20, clog prone, sensitive skin which is sometimes a pain because SO many products make my skin break out badly. I tried oil free since I do get oily throughout the day and I thought, what the heck its not going to work for me, but it does! -Creates a beautiful base for foundation, or can be worn alone on lazy days! -DOES NOT LEAVE A WHITE CAST. A problem Ihave with Hourglass Veil Primer. -MINIMIZES MY BIG PORES without making it look like I have any product on. I tried porefessional, monistat, photo finish, clinique which was horrible an other pore minimizing products, all failure. -Does NOT clog. Most popular products on MUA clog me leading to zits. -Feel watery. I HATE silicone-based primers like the photo finish, they feel heavy on the skin. I will continue to buy. If you thought this was helpful please vote up, thank you
