I got this mascara for Christmas, and it's probably either the best or second best mascara I've ever used. It gives good volume and length, and dries soft enough to layer really easily.the formula is thick but not so thick that you end up with a bunch of clumps, and the brush gives a lot of seperation and makes your lashes look feathery and soft:) I've only found two downsides to it, the first being that even though it will stay on flawlessly for most of the day, you have to start reapplying a little to the ends when it gets late because it flakes off (which is true of most mascaras but still.) Also, I was kind of hoping that for the price it would last a little longer. I guess about a month is fine but because of the formula I don't have to use as many layers of this as I do other mascaras, so I didn't think it would run out so quickly. Overall though it's a really fabulous mascara, and I plan to buy it next time Lancôme has a freebie deal
I got a full-sized sample of this with some shoes for some reason, and was initially apprehensive... It is a really thick formula so if you don't have time to seperate your lashes then it probably isn't for you. But I love this stuff, once my lashes are seperated it makes them thick and long. It's really easy to layer for more length too. I sell Mary kay so I get the products for half off, so I will almost definately buy it again. I'm not completely sure if I would if it weren't half price, but probably.
I was really excited to try this, especially with Mary kays lash primer, but am awfully disappointed. I have naturally long curled lashes and this mascara somehow managed to make them look shorter! I use a maybelline *volumizing* mascara that gives me more length than this did. Even with the primer my lashes looked short and stick-thin. It also had a really dry feel to it, and made some lashes stick together, which didn't neccesarily look too bad, but like I just had less lashes than I do. I am going to try to exchange this for MK's Lash Love mascara (which conversely, is amazing) and will obviously not be buying it again.
