HG! Great for people who have combination to oily skin! COVERAGE: sheer/medium to medium -- just enough to even out skin tone, not enough to cover acne scars. Buildable. FINISH: natural/semi-matte -- not too matte making it look cakey but definitely not a satiny, dewy finish. Very natural! Great for combination/oily skin. OIL CONTROL: awesome oil control! don't need to blot but if you're really oily, you would only need one or two swipes of powder LASTS 8-12 HOURS: depends on what you're doing of course, but definitely lasts through my long school days (8hrs) and can go even longer! Was out for 10+ hours today doing school and errands, didn't touch up and it still look great when I got home. COLOUR: Be careful because the NC shades seem a little too yellow. Might not be a problem for light/medium yellow-undertoned asian skin. There's a big difference between NC25 and NC30 so watch out, opted for NC25. NC30 is too dark and orangey for me. WINTER: use a moisturizer before applying... fix+ after moisturizer works wonders. can accentuate dry spots. SUMMER: can mix with a little moisturizer to lighten up coverage. **don't think this has been breaking me out (I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so I usually know quickly if a product is breaking me out) **LOVE the pump, good job MAC! **Be careful, you can easily put too much on. Should start with just a small amount and layer little by little. **wont look patchy if you touch your face!!!!! Overall, this is an amazing foundation! HG! WOOHH FINALLY!

This could be my HG!!!! I've got oily t-zone, normal/dry cheeks, lots of acne scars and some active pimples, asian yellow undertone, big pores, uneven skin tone and small 'craters'. Got it in the shade Light and matches OK, a little bit light but I mix some yellow physicians formula concealer and use a darker powder as bronzer. I use this as a foundation because i feel like this is too much coverage to use just as a moisturizer. Pros: -light/medium coverage (not really medium but definitely not sheer) -evens out skin tone very well so you only need a little concealer after and I LOVE THAT!!! -lasts 6-8hours, one blot/powder in between -last 4-6hours if you're doing lots of activities -love the packaging (tube with a very small opening so you can really control how much product comes out and doesn't get messy) -natural finish, not dewy in my opinion -moisturizes dry areas and controls my oiliness just the sliiiightest bit -no weird smells -you can apply with brushes or fingers (i use fingers to apply and brushes to blend) -only $27 at Sephora!!!!! (great price for 45mL since most foundations are 30mL and around $30-45) -i feel like it makes my pores look smaller Cons: -When I first apply it looks too light on my skin but after 10-15 minutes and some bronzer, it matches my skin ok -can get too thick quickly on skin so apply in thin layers... it will look greasy, not dewy if you apply too much -i don't like that I have to mix it with other makeup... next shade up was too dark and pinkish (gave one less lippy for this) This is probably one of the best everyday foundation I've ever used... HG I THINK =)

This foundation is amazing. This would've been my HG if it didn't break me out!!!!! I'm not one to break out from makeup products. The first day I tried this on, I fell in love!! It stayed on all day, didn't oxidize, kept me matte all day (which I thought I'd never say for any foundation cause i'm REAALLYY oily on my tzone). I loved this product so much but after only 2-3 days, I developed lots of pimples. I had kept up the same skin routine all throughout this summer and my skin was actually improving until I started using this product. Pros: -stays on ALL DAY, seriously!! I checked after 8 hours in the sun and it still look perfect.. could've gone longer. -mattifying.. usually check every 2-3hours but with this product, didn't need to blot. -blends well -really stays in place, ZERO TRANSFER! -sheer coverage; enough to even skin tone (will still need concealer tho) -squeeze tube packaging allows good control over quantity dispensed Cons: -will look cakey on dry spots and kinda accentuates dry spots so moisturize well! -expensive $44 at The Bay (Canada) -broke me the eff out!!!! UGH I really wish this didn't break me out or else my quest for my HG foundation would be over by now!!!!!!
