celery! yes, that is it exactly. and not that it's a bad scent, but if I was going to pick a garden scent to go with, my preference would be tomato vine. Waiting for the miraculous dry down on this one...it's taking it's time. Still celery, baby powder, spice cabinet going headache strong 1/2 hour in (which is incredibly rare on my hot, oily skin) So, lasting power is phenomenal. -------------------- ...just weird. Perfume Court, where I bought this in a sampler of Milk Notes, has it listed as containing: spices, incense, tea and milk. Spices, sure, as long as celery salt is the main spice, the rest? This is such a funky scent. I'm sure it's someone's hg. For me though it's going in the recycle to friends pile- a little too 'comfort soup' smelling to wear and feel sexy.
My favorite scent is Fracas, and compared to that this is the weak sister. That said, it is a gorgeous scent. Lovely and calm. Wearable to the office, since it has a lasting time of about 5 minutes (full bloom) on me. Very quiet, close to the skin, creamy tuberose.

Smells like a man's citrus aftershave on my skin. I think on drier, cooler skin it might smell elegant.
The opening is the killer for me. It's reminiscent of over-spiced eggnog with everclear in it. It's mellowing as I write this, but still too harsh for a room spray, much less anything more personal. Some comfort scent :p ...................... coming back to this later...oranges balance clove/allspice nicely, milk, not so much. It's good to know. Makes me wonder how eggnog can smell so good, when all the components here, just don't.
I would love to find a full bottle of this. It does smell like breast milk, and babies and all wonderful good things. My hg comfort scent.
On me it smells like a cheap man's aftershave. Just generic guy. I love sweet milk, and the mint one is interesting men's cologne, but this is ho hum blech.

Smells like cherry cough syrup, mothballs, almond candy and some sort of old fashioned perfume thing I've smelled in other perfumes but don't know the name for... I hate it, which is good because it's too expensive for me anyway.

The opening of this is beautiful, soft and warm and so well blended that nothing jumps out- it's just there and wonderful. The drydown (which happens on my too warm skin in 15 min) is flat baby powder. The price is incredible, it's well done, it won't give anyone a headache- but it's not for me.
Smells like a shrill sour, salty, perfumy musk to me. :p Not good at all with my chemistry, but I could see the right person loving this.
Smells like chemicals, metals and the industrial strength baby powder air freshener they use at work (on my skin). Cannot get it off fast enough :( Scratching this one off my quest for the perfect heliotrope scent.
I would actually use a full bottle of this, but for the price will have to settle for decants. The person before me broke it down really well, so I will just add that this smells like love to me.
It does smell like heliotrope, but it's unpleasant on my skin. Cherry almond mothballs :/ luckily it seems to be fading quickly.
Bright and happy smell to me. Fades quick. Not the type of heliotrope I was looking for, to me it smells more like a garden in bloom. Which is not a bad thing, not what I was searching for, but my wrist will be up in my face for the next 30 min until this goes.
Agree with the comments left before- on me it's all chemicals and soap, no heliotrope. Thank goodness for test vials. If anyone is interested in a gourmand heliotrope Kiss Me Tender is my current favorite.
I really love looking at Nfu-oh holos in swatches online, so splurged and got this one. It's holographic on my nails, but after 4 coats and much nail bed cleaning, I have to admit that it is ugly and does me no favors. The idea is cool, but I won't be buying more colors of this style. Now NFU 40 is a whole other story. I'd buy every single variation of that one if I weren't on a budget.
