I just got a full size bottle for myself today after finishing the small bottle (tester) I got. In the past month, I had a break out and I might be a little bit too much on Differin. So, my facial skin turned red and raw. Every toner I got didn't help much for moisturing my raw skin. I found the tester of this in my fridge, so I gave it a shot. It soothed my upset skin well. I used it after washing my face in the evening. It didn't leave a sticky film on my face but still moistured and cleaned my face pretty well. I paid for 450 THB which I considered it was OK. The bottle is a pink plastic bottle which I don't mind. I notice that my skin starts to dislike the products for oily skin. I am quite happy with this toner.
Moisturizers -Clarins - Multi-Active Day Cream *new formula*
hutchepsut 12/28/2011 10:56:00 PM
Cream texture is sort of thick but, luckily, it won't clog my pore and it doesn't make my face oilier. It absorb quite well. I am ok with the bit of perfume scent. I notice that my facial skin is brighter in only 2-3 days. This cream is another piece of Clarin that I like.
I am 3rd bottle while writing this review. I like this cleanser. I use in the evening wash (staying out all day w/ layers of skin care + cleansing oil usage). Only 2 pumps (well, normally I use more than that with other cleanser) clean well. I notice that I have less pimples and smoother skin. I barely feel any rough patch on my jaw nowadays. After washing, I don't feel tight & dry on my skin. That is great ! The price is a bit higher than I normally pay for a cleanser but I think it does a good job. So, I plan to buy another bottle after this one runs out.
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser
hutchepsut 10/27/2011 3:39:00 AM
I am on 3rd tube of this cleanser. I use it in the morning to clean my face after having serum & night cream on for all night. It lathers well and smells clean. The point that I like most is that I feel my face clean afterward w/o feeling tight on the skin. I never use it for the evening wash but so far with the morning wash, it is a great cleanser. I like it though the price is not cheap. The package is quite practical. All gel comes out without squeezing hard. I plan to buy another one when my 3rd tube is gone.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex

When I wrote this reveiw, I finished a small bottle and then am on a big bottle of this. My skin never gets along well with Estee products. This is the first one ! I am so happy with it. I can feel that my skin feel healthier...tighter and supple...I got compliments from 2 make up artists, giving me a make up before going out for banquets. The texture is light and absorb fast. I wear this under my night cream. When I wake up and clean my face, my skin looks healthy and no line seen. It is quite pricey, in my opinion. However, I consider it is worthy. I am 34 years old w/ a stressful life style and not much time for sleeping....I need something really good to take care my appearance.
I have blemish from time to time. I decided to get this LRP because I would like to switch to a cheaper option. I used Kiehl before. However, Kiehl doesn't help my small pimples under control. I akways try to wash my face in the evening carefully but still...I can touch some rough patches on my jaws and cheeks. While writing this review, I have used LRP for 2 weeks -- 2 times a day. I apply on my face before moisturizer and sunblock in the morning and before serums and moisturizer in the night. I can notice that the number of my small pimples obviously is reduced and the dark scars after the painful acnes fade much faster than normal. The first point, I believe it is from LRP but the latter one, I am not sure because I also started taking Marine Q10 (Blackmore) as well. I like its texture and clean smell. It absorbs fast. So, even though I have sort of oily skin, I still can wear it under my day cream and sunblock. The package is quite good..only the body of the tube is metal...I believe I will have a difficulty to get all of it out. On the top of everything, I am happy with the price. Kiehl I used before is around 1800 baht but this LRP is around 790 baht. I save some money with the better result. I surely buy it again.
Moisturizers -Clarins - Multi Intensive Super Restorative Night Wear

I at first got as a sample from my mom. Her friend gave it to her and then she gave it to me. I am always Clarin fan but my mom is not. So, I decided to give it a shot. Well, I cannot say that I like the perfume smell in this cream. However, I like that it is absorbed quickly. It won't leave my face oily. And YES! I agree with the below opinion. It definitely gives me a glow in the morning. My facial skin is smoother and the small lines are less notice. I am 31 years old. I understand that this one is not the line of my age but it works wonderfully on me. The price is not cheap. However, I bought it at the duty-free shop at the airport in Singapore. So, its price is still acceptable because I tend to spend on Night Time treatment/cream anyway and then save money on something else (such as cleaser).
Treatments (Eye) -Sisley - Sisleya Eye and Lip Contour Cream
hutchepsut 1/16/2008 4:54:00 AM
I spent quite sum of money on this most expensive piece of my skin care routine because I noticed some fine lines under my eyes (well, being 30+,working full time and being new mom catch me up eventually). Puffiness and dark rings under my eyes were obviously better in only the first week I used. The line got less obvious until now I barely notice it. I keep using it in both PM and AM, though the weather here is hot and humid. It is still ok to use in the day time, no migration into eyes. So far, I am very happy with this eye cream and think it is totally worthy every single cent spent on this. I don't like its wide-mouth packaging due to the concern about the stability of this cream. On the other hand, it is good that I can take every ounce of this thick & pricy cream out. For sure, it will be the next time for me with Sisleya eye cream. Ps. this eye cream allures me to try La Mer Gel ;-)
Cleansers -Olay - Total Effects Anti Aging Anti Blemish Cleanser
hutchepsut 3/22/2006 6:55:00 PM
I use this just to clean my face in the evening (after using the cleansing lotion to get rid of sunscreen and foundation I wear). I notice that, since I use this cleanser, my skin has less pimples show up and it doesn't dry up my skin though I wash my face twice with this cleanser. I like its scent and I feel it cleans my face well. The granulars are not too rough (unlike St.Ives <-- this is quite rough). I like this Olay Cleanser. It really helps my prone-to-acne skin. Ps. I find that the cleanser works better, if I massage it on my face long enough before washing it out.
Moisturizers -Olay - Olay Complete - Fragrance Free
hutchepsut 3/17/2006 4:33:00 PM
I bought this when I could not find Olay spf 30 sensitive at Walmart. I think it moisturizes well in the winter of Montreal (Olay spf 30 doesn't moisturize enough; I have to add Vit.E oil to mix with it when I go out to face the dry and cold weather here). So far, I like it. It is absorbed well. I don't like the design of their bottle. It is hard to estimate wanted amount when you squeeze it (unlike the pump head of Olay spf 30) My concern is only spf 15. I wish it had higher spf than this. I think I will re-purchase it but I will get back to Olay spf 30 sensitive when I need to stay long in the sun though.
Toners -Clarins - Extra Comfort Toning Lotion for Dry/Sensitive Skin
hutchepsut 1/24/2006 3:53:00 PM
I have used this toner for 2-3 years already. I buy it 2 bottles at a time in Duty Free shop because it is much cheaper there. I like this toner esp. when the weather is cold and dry. I use it as the last step for cleaning. The smell doesn't bother me at all. My face is clean and glow after using. It ensures that I get the foundation and dirt out of my face before I go to bed. I use it sometimes during summer but for sure it is my staple during winter. Only thing I complain about this product is its packaging. The hole on the bottle might be a little bit too big. Sometimes I feel I pour too much. That twist cap doesn't work so great when I travel.
I think this one is so so cleanser but this one is still better than the one for normal/dry skin (less drying). I don't like the beads. They are too harsh. I am not impressed with this one, though. I will not repurchase it.
I tried this after I tried the one for the combination skin. I hoped that this one would not dry my skin. Well, it is supposed for the normal to dry skin but I think it dries my skin out more than the one for the combination skin. I feel the beads are too harsh. I cannot use this everyday. Even that, it still dries my skin out. So, I will not purchase again.
Cleansers -L'Oreal - HydraFresh Deep Cleanser Gel (Normal to OILY)
hutchepsut 9/10/2005 2:34:00 PM
This cleanser is easy to rinse off and doesn't make your skin tight after using. There is no bead so you can use it often and dont' have to worry if you disturb the nature of your skin. However, the perfume in this cleanser really bothers me. It reminds me the laundry detergent (I kept it in my gym bag and it made my gym back have the same smell strongly !). Also I feel my skin is oily (or maybe oilier) again after washing pretty soon. The package is ok. You get a big tube with the affordable price. I would like to try St.Ives Apricot for combination skin first before making a decision if I gonna re-purchase this cleanser. I need a good packaging for my gym bag (so I cannot buy a good cleaser with a pump head). Update: Ok. I tried St.Ives. I think I prefer St.Ives and Olay rather than this one. I notice that the rash I had while using this one is all gone after I use other cleansers. I think the chemical in this cleanser is pretty harsh...my face is oily or oilier so soon after washing. Perfume in this cleanser really bother me.
Moisturizers -Olay - Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30 - Sensitive Skin
hutchepsut 6/25/2005 12:55:00 PM
I like this moisturizer in general. It is easy to spread and absorb quickly. After I put the foundation on, it doesn't react with the powder and make my skin turn to be orange. I don't have any breakout from it so far (and I have oily, acne-prone skin). Although, review here mentions that this one is a Nanosunscreen and there is no significant research to confirm that nanonized Zinc particles are safe, I tend to buy this one again, instead of my Total Protector SPF30 (MD formulation) which its price is much higher in Canada.
