Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

I literally could not wear any eye make up besides high end liquid liner and mascara before I found this product All the shadows, glitter, pencils, etc. would smudge, smear, and ultimately crease within a few hours. And once that happens, you can't fix it without totally redoing it. I had given up on ever wearing beautiful eye makeup when I heard about this product from a youtube beauty guru. Thank goodness! I can now wear whatever eye makeup I want and don't see any creasing/smudging for at least 8-9 hours, and usually longer than that. I'd say the packaging leaves a bit to be desired, and it is pricey, but with the results I'm getting, I'm definitely not complaining. This works way better as a base than any other product I've tried, including MAC paint pots. I'll continue to repurchase as long as they sell!

Fragrances -Pacifica - Lilac
rated 5 of 5

I'm THRILLED to have found this fragrance! Lilac is such a nostalgic scent for me. My parents had a huge lilac bush that bloomed every spring, and I used to love to put my nose right up to the flowers and breathe in the lovely scent (watch out for the bees though!) This perfume captures that scent in the best way possible. And, while I'm no fragrance expert by any means, I feel that it also has a sweeter note, like vanilla or something similar. The combination is wonderful. I will repurchase this as long as they continue to sell it. I actually plan on buying the entire line - candles, soap, body butter, etc. I'm new to Pacifica, and French Lilac makes me eager to try out their other products!

I really like this one! I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to fragrance, but I'm expert enough to tell you that it's fresh and different from what B&BW usually puts out. To me, it smells similar to Rain Kissed Leaves, and since this one was on sale 50% off, I bought it instead. Nice, clean, floral, water-like. Not my absolute favorite, but then again I don't usually go for clean, fresh scents. Would repurchase.

Lovely! Very light pink with opalescent sheen. IMO, a unique shade. Gives a great shine to the lips without being overpowering. Glad I found this, but sad it's LE!

Definitely in love! I'm new to lipglasses and am quickly becoming obsessed! This color is gorgeous - a coral, pink shade. Very "baby doll" pink IMO. Looks great on me (NC15.) Great staying power and not too sticky.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Prrr

My first lipglass, and I'm very pleased! Has a beautiful light pink/nude color and nice shine. I do agree that if you put too much on it can get a bit sticky and too shiney. But just a single layer looks fantastic. I wear it by itself but can't wait to layer it over a nude lippie. Would definitely repurchase!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Expensive Pink (Veluxe Pearl)

OMG, my new HG pink! Soooooo gorgeous. I can't get enough of it. I will admit, it's a little overwhelming in the crease (as I have NC15 skin,) but it's awesome on the lid. A lovely coral-pink shade with gold glimmer. Great color pay off. Can be layered on to look really bright. I recently put this on my lid and cut the crease with Print and Electra. Wow!!! I loved the result. Will definitely repurchase again and again.

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Patio Party Liner Shadow
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 2:00:00 AM

A very lovely dark brown with plenty of shimmer. I tend to prefer blacks because my lashes are so dark, but this shade is a nice alternative if I feel like doing a softer look. Doesn't work well for me dry - (fades, smears, etc.) But when used with Weather Everything sealer it works wonders! You can definitely see the shimmer when applied wet or dry, so you'll have to decide if you like that effect. Personally, I think it looks great!

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Onyx
rated 5 of 5

Love this color! While I like the softness of the dry application, it just doesn't work for me - (fades, smears, etc.) But used with Weather Everything sealer, it's a whole different story! The color becomes dark black, and it has great staying power, (does tend to chip a little if worn on a long day.) Very dramatic on my fair skin. I love doing a bare/neutral eye with this eyeliner applied heavily and winged out pretty far. Very lovely!

Eye Shadow -Prescriptives - Quick Pick Eyeshadow Single Merlot
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:53:00 AM

Since Px went out of business, this review is purely sentimental. I bought Merlot 5 years ago to wear on my wedding day. I still have the same pan, barely used. Not because I don't love it, but because I don't want to run out! The shade is a nice pinky burgundy. I have very light skin, so a little bit goes a long way on me. I generally use it as a crease shadow. One of my favorites that I'm sad to see go! :'(

Eyes -Bare Escentuals - Weather Everything Liner Sealer
rated 4 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:49:00 AM

I do love this product. It mixes well with BE liners and applies like a dream with a thin liner brush. The colors look fantastic, but I find that they do start to chip after a long day. Also, I had to deduct several lippies for packaging because I've had not one, but TWO of these little droppers break on me. Both times, the dropper part got stuck in the lid when I unscrewed it, which I didn't notice. Then I go to drop this into my liner and most of the liquid came out. :( The good thing is, when I brought the bottle back to the store they exchanged it for a new one no questions asked. Just be careful!

Lips -Prescriptives - Incredible Sheer Black Currant
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:36:00 AM

Let me start off by saying I'm so sad Prescriptives went out of business, if for no other reason than I can't purchase this lipstick anymore. Looks so dark in the tube, it was kind of intimidating. But I told the MA I wanted to do a bright lip, and she insisted I try this one. Wow. I have extremely fair skin, and this look pretty bright on me. I use it with Px Fig lip liner and the result is amazing. A nice plummy, brick red shade on me. I wore it on my wedding day. To give you an idea of how long it lasts, I've been married for over 5 years and am only on my 2nd tube of this. I always get compliments when I wear it. RIP Px, and my favorite lipstick of all time. :'(

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer- Blue Moon
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:27:00 AM

I don't do a lot of blues because it just doesn't look right on my very fair skin and hazel brown/green eyes. But when I do, Blue Moon is my go-to color. It's a very bright, baby blue. Some shimmer. Looks great on the lid or in the crease, or both! Applies better when patted on rather than swiped or brushed on - (this helps with fallout too.) A really gorgeous shade. One of my favorites!

Blush -Bare Escentuals - Giddy Pink
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:22:00 AM

My favorite blush of all time. I have extremely fair skin (NC 15 for MAC lovers,) and this is definitely a bright pop of color on my cheeks. I have to be careful with how much I apply, or it kind of gets out of control! :) I was wanting a change from the dusty rose colored blushes I'd been using for years before I purchased this. I told the MA I wanted a bright pink that wouldn't look clownish on my light skin. She showed me Giddy Pink and it was love at first sight! It definitely looks young, girly, and fresh. I love the slightly shimmery effect. I use it with a BE angled blush brush and it applies like a dream. As a side note, I've had this blush for 2+ years and have barely made a dent in the pot. A worthwhile purchase!

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil
rated 5 of 5
hurdles2003 2/22/2010 1:17:00 AM

I would like to start by saying that this should probably be used strictly as a setting powder, since it's a translucent powder that "doesn't change the color of your makeup." (BE statement.) So don't try to use it as a powder to hide blemishes and even skin tone. It won't work! Used as a setting powder, I think it works great! My make up doesn't budge all day. I've used it with Bare Minerals and MAC foundations, and get the same great result. Plus, it last forever if you use it right. I've had the same pot for 2+ years and use it pretty much every day.
