Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash

I prefer Dior Show to this mascara, yet I would buy Bad Gal Lash again because it doesn't clump. It does tend to dry my lashes a bit more than most mascaras and is a tiny bit flakey. It is mediocre at best, but better than most mascaras I have found. It creates a dark rich color but doesn't create volume or length-I haven't found a product that does thus far. It just helps to add color and defines my lashes. The brush/wand clumps a little at ends and it's difficult to get lower lashes due to size, but I prefer larger wands like this one and Dior Show. I would like to find something better than both.

I have had zero problems with this mascara clumping. It is designed smartly. When you pull out wand/brush to apply you do not get tons of mascara on wand. It leaves only enough to coat your lashes. I really like this mascara. It allows me to apply it and layer without clumps. It is a rich black color. I dont know if its possible in a mascara, but I would like to find one that possibly better holds the curl after I use my eye lash curler. This one does not, but I dont know if its even possible. I will keep looking and if not go back to this one. It also does not add much volume, but I dont know how much is really possible..So I cannot find much negative in this mascara. I will buy it again in future.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose

The wand leaves too much mascara when applying. I have to wipe off excess every time I use it on all sides. It puts WAY too much mascara on wand. The wand design is terrible. It doesnt do anything for my lashes. It is clumpy and makes my lashes look uneven. I hate it! I don't enjoy touching up my mascara, I like to put it on and go. The lady working at Lancome counter who sold it to me, told me you can layer it. I tried to "layer" it to create more volume. It gets clumpier and makes my lashes stick together even more. The formula, wand and design are all horrible. Will not purchase again.

Mascara -MAC - Plush Lash
rated 2 of 5

It smears, smuges, and clumps a little bit. It doesn't add volume or length. Nothing plush about it. The brush has an odd way about it. Sometimes it looks better than other times after I apply it, it depends the way you use the brush. Too tricky for me. It was not expensive, yet not worth the price or purchasing again.

Eye Shadow -Sonia Kashuk - Eyeshadow

I purchased a white shimmery eyeshadow to use as a highlight color under my brows. It is chalky and wears off very quickly. More so I think than most eyeshadows I've tried. Even ELF. It looks ok when I first apply it, but the section I applied it to looks naked during the day. It doesn't last. I wore Loreal HIP on the bottom the same day and it lasted all day. Maybe it's just this color, because I haven't tried any other Sonia Kashuk products before.

Mascara -Rimmel - Magnif'Eyes Eye Magnifier Eye Opening

I like Rimmel Lyra Lash Extension, so I decided to try other Rimmel mascras and this kind is one of the worst mascaras I have ever used. The brush/tube design is terrible. The brush holds way too much mascara and my lashes ending up in a very a clumpy mess. I threw it away after two applications because it is useless. I would not use this mascara again.

Mascara -Max Factor - 2000 Calorie Mascara
rated 3 of 5

I bought this years ago and did not like it, but I have been searching for a decent cheap mascra and this one gets good reviews, so I decided to give it another try. Like before, I am not 100% satisfied with it. I do like the design of the brush, but the mascara still manages to make my eyelashes look too thick and somewhat clumpy. It is not terrible, but Rimmel Lyra Lash Extender is way better for the price based on the drugstore kinds I have tried. I would not buy this mascara again, but I will use it as a backup until I throw it away in three months, but I would not buy again. It just does not separate my lashes like I want it to or apply as easy as I would like. I think they test on animals...:(

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Nourishing Mascara Triple Effect
rated 2 of 5

I've been searching for a great drugstore mascara and I have been trying lots of brands, without much luck and this was no exception. It is very clumpy, the wand is not designed well. I had to spend too much time fixing my lashes that were stuck together. I used it for about a week, and hated it every time I wore it, due to the time I had to spend after applying. It does not lengthen or thicken my lashes. After I got rid of the clumps and my lashes sticking together it was ok, but I would never buy this mascara again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
rated 2 of 5

When I first pulled the wand out of the tube it was clumpy and the mascara was stuck to end of wand in a clumpy mess and to the brush. It has a very boring look on lashes, nothing special. It does not give my lashes fullness or length. The main issue I have with it, are the clumps and difficultly in applying. I had to wipe off excess mascara so it would'nt clump on the very first application. I had to wipe off the extra mascara and applying a second coat ends up in a diaster due to the fact that it makes my lashes too thick in a messy way. The wand/bush is not the best design for seperating lashes. It's not the worst that I have ever used, but it's FAR from the best or worthy of drugstore price in my opinion. Oops, I think they test on animals:(

Mascara -Rimmel - Lycra Lash Extender

Overall this has been my favorite drugstore mascara. It is not perfect, but for the price it really works. It does not clump at all, due I think to it's brush design. I have never had issues with clumping or it making my lashes stick together. I would not say it's a lenthening mascara like it claims to be, compared to others that I have used, but it gives my lashes a dramatic look and holds a curl fairly well. It is quick to apply without me having to stop and fix anything on my lashes and lasts all day without any problems. I have it in 001 Black and it's a very dark black shade that I think draws attention to my eyes. It is not my favorite yet, I still prefer Bad Gal by Benefit, but for a drugstore brand I think its the best that I have used so far. I have tried lots of drugstore brands and always throw them away within a week, but I used this the entire 3 months.

Mascara -Max Factor - Lash Perfection Volume Couture [DISCONTINUED]
rated 2 of 5
hrm5270 7/11/2008 6:32:00 PM

The first time that I used it, I was somewhat impressed by the length it gave my lashes and how it held a curl. It did not give my lashes volume. The second, third and fourth times I was so frustrated with its application that I refuse to use it again. I read a lot of good reviews about it, but I think its one of the worst mascaras I have used as far as clumping is concerned. I had to unseperate the lash clumps and reapply over and over. It is a sticky, slick formula that easily clumps and does not seperate. I have not spent so much time in the mirror fixing mascara issues in a long time. Prior to this I used Bad Gal Lash and Rimmel Lash Extender without problems. I just wanted to give this a try because I heard good things about it, but I do not like it.

Eye Makeup Remover -Christian Dior - Duo-Phase Eye Makeup Remover
rated 5 of 5
hrm5270 7/6/2008 1:10:00 AM

It takes off all of my makeup easily and does not irritate my eyes. I am very pleased with this product being so gentle on my sensitive skin. It feels very silky on my skin and I have used it for over 6 months without any problems. I made the mistake of using Almay makeup remover pads when I was out of this. ( it reddened and burned my eyes) I am rushing out to buy more of this and will continue to use it.

Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads
rated 1 of 5
hrm5270 7/6/2008 1:02:00 AM

I used the product two different times. Almay oil-free eye makeup remover pads made my eyes extremely blood-shot. It did remove the makeup, but my eyes are burning and red. I DO NOT recommend that anyone buy this product. I purchased when I was out of Dior makeup remover wanting to save money, but I am rushing out to buy a bottle of Dior Duo Phase again, because it never irritated my eyes. It claims on the container that it is ophthalmologist tested, hypoallergenic and good for contact lens wearers, but I find that hard to believe due to my eye reactions after using twice. Also it comes with 80 pads, but they are very thin and small. Hard to apply due to small size.
