Lipstick -MAC - Burnin'

I got this in a swap and I swapped for the color only because I wanted to try MAC lipsticks just in any color. I am a PPP and when I looked at it I was thinking I could not pull it off, but for my surprise it looks really good, especially blotted and applied with finger. It does not look too goth on me just because there is no brown in this. It is really a dark berry shade and when you blot it you can blot it to a violet tone and I cannot see any brown chocolate tone. Otherwice Id look like goth or zombie with this. This is the color I can wear to be fall trendy. It does however require a nude eye look maybe a winged liner. I am a huge Gwen Stefani fan and I am planning on recreating her red lips look but replacing it with this black cherry shade.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer/Hyacinth

It is a very cool light lilac shade, yes kind of like a pink hyacinth. I tried to compare and wore it together with a shade called Girlfriend Michelle and found out that girlfriend michelle is slightly warmer light pink with golden shimmer. Very nice color.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer in Nude Beach

It really is not a warm color at all. It looks greyish in the jar and looks like uncolored shimmer in the lids. It is not really flattering or really unflattering but it makes me look made up. I wanted to give it some color so I scrabed my almost finished Chanel Venus shadow in the jar and mixed, Now it is a nicer nude color. But I would not buy it again. It does not give an especially clean look that I am after.

Yet I am sure itis great quality I did not quite like the color on me. It was too warm and maybe even too orangey to look natural on me, dont get me wrong I have used way more other prodycts that looked worse on me but as this looked like makeup it was not the big hit on me. My colouring is NW 20. However I do not agree that this looks wrong because the color is too strong or deep, no way, this is very easy to adjust in my opinion. Id say if your NC 20 you could pull it off.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Skin

I bought several NYX eyeshadows while back and most of them were light close to my skintone, you see, I am often drawn to nude looks as I have gotten older I am too tired on the morning to play with color. It is surprisingly difficult to find a great eye brightening colors that arent too frosty or do not have the wrong undertone. Some colors just look plain chalky being so matte or too light others are so frosty that they look pretentious to me. This is perfect shade for my NW 20 skintone. It is not too matte or chalky and not too yellow or golden (I cant do gold shimmer or I look muddy) or too frosty. It is perfect for brightening the eye area. I got rid of all other NYX shadows, this is the one I still have. Some NYX shadows were sheer but this one has a great pigment.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Creme de Violet eye shadow

It is really seldom that I can wear purples. There are only few ones that I have succesfully worn without looking like I got punched in the eye. Thsi is one of them and it is quite similar to discontinued Chanel "neon" Irreelle Ombre Eye shadow. However, the unevitable, getting old happened to me too, and I now cant seem to get this work, it might be my state of mind that stopping me liking it on me but it is a MAC shadow that has a great shimmer and great easy to blend and pigmented texture. I think it is the BEST MAC eye shadow I have used. But then again I have only used a few random ones. I think it is bright and it would be great for green eyes because it is fuchsia based purple.

I cant think of any other nicer bronzer for me than this one. If youre familiar with Nars Multiple in malibu, this gives you the same color bronzing effect, it is not peachy or colorally or yellowy at all. It is shimmery of course and much more pigmented than you would expect especially if you have had other Shimmerbricks that are more sheer. I must admit I do not use this everyday but I cannot bring myself to get rid of it either because it is the only think that has a believeable color of bronzer, I do not really mind looking shimmery because at summer I see other girls wearing some shimmery bronzers I really prefer the look to those who are wearing something matte and streaky. I think shimmer often helps the product spread easier and avoid streaks if youre not a makeup artist and can apply stuff properly, as most of the people really arent pros. So yey for shimmer!

Blush -Shiseido - Accentuating Color Stick - S2 Peach Flush

Ahh, a dream for dry skin. It feels so cool and fresh whan I apply it. And after using the Nars multiples, it really blends like a dream too and pigment is WAY better than with multiples. I think this might be the most pigmented of the Shiseido Accentuating Color Sticks colors. The price for this one was about 30 euros, even tho I received mine in a swap. I am cool toned and some peachy colors leave me looking too orange or just sick but I can pull this off. I think many people could pull this off easily. I do not use this for anything else as blush but it is truly a lovely cream blush. Really worth it!

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Basics in Buff

I am really disappointed with this. I used to love the older eye basics but Laura Mercier did some changes other than just packaging. The older eye basics never creased on me and I trusted them as a base. They would be more thick and dry faster than these new ones that seems quite slippery and take longer to dry. Also when I wear this this one creases easily. With older ones I had, I used one alone and applied Clinique quickliner on top of my lashes and my makeup lasted all day! Not so with the new formula. I am really disappointed now. The color Buff is nice for the light to medium skinned ladies. Great nude color. If only it would last.

You know I swapped for this without really knowing what the color was like. I am NW 20 and I can wear this shade. It gives me an effect of bronzer, without all those yucky peachy, yellow or orange tones. It is so sheer and buildable, I have so many different MAC blushes and I havent yet tried one shade tha looks awful on me!

Lovely. It is lot like Nars Angelika on me maybe bit darker but it looks totally natural on my NW 20 complexion. It is easy to blend and easy to put it either sheerly or build up for the more intensive result. If I had to choose my favourite blush, it would be MAC blushes in sheertone formula for sure because they are so easy to use and adjust, even the stronger colors can work on pale skintones here, unlike the NARS blushes that are so insanely pigmented.

I am NW 20 and I wear shade Honey and the shade is perfect for me, because I need to cover blueness and I cant pick anything too light because it would enhance my eye bags. However it is not super pigmented at all. If you dont mind spending lot of money and you arer particular about Stick formula Id recommend YSL cover stick. Max Factor also makes one that has a great coverage, but it is more greasy. This is really not super greasy and this one stays on way better than the MAX Factor one I have, but I really prefer the liquid formula concealers over sticks.

It is a very reqular eye pencil thats like grey in color with slight shimmer.It is not any better than something you could get from Rimmel. It smudges like normally kohls do. I would not buy this one again.

It is ok, white color, basic. Looks bit chalky on me. I have actually found my HG white and it is Paula Dorf Strapless. This is quite sheer one also.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cranberry eye shadow

I was disappointed how sheer this color was. I also wanted it to be more reddish not brownish as it turned out on my skin just like any brown eye shadow, dirty and muddy looking. Made me look tired. I actually had a Revlon Primal instinct eye shadow that was way better than this one. Some MAC eye shadows are great but for me this was not.
