White Magic, from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2007 collection, is a really really pale, almost white lipgloss, with a hint of pink to it. There is very little pigmentation, a high shine factor, and it's pretty, but ideal for a look with eyes as the center, like a smoky eye or using the colors from the McQueen collection. It can be used to tone down a lip color nicely, and while adding shine, and has the McQueen printing on the tube of lipgloss, as well as the packaging. It is nice when layered over Masque lipstick, and pales Masque up a shade more. As for the smell and texture, it's the same as any other lipglass..nice vanilla-y MAC smell with gloss on the sticker side.
This is not my favorite bronzer ever, but it gives me a nice healthy glow. I like my bronzers to have less shimmer, though, and this one has a fair amount that I always have to focus on not overdoing it, which tends to get annoying. But it's still a great product and brightens your face up a lot, if you apply just the right amount!
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross
honeyclover 10/11/2007 7:22:00 PM
One of the best highlighters ever! It's sheer and adds a great pale glow to your face, and I love wearing it on my cheekbones above my blush to give it an extra pop! The texture is smooth and finely milled...just like all other Nars Blushes.
I like venom glosses, even if I don't love lip venom itself. I find that these glosses give me more of the tingly spicy feeling than lip venom, which doesn't work 100% of the time. Buttercup is a sheer nude gloss, and I really like it, and its texture. It seems to be a little too sheer sometimes, but it's truly a pretty color. It leaks very easily, which is a huge pet peeve of mine, and it's a bit runny. But otherwise, I really like it!
This is one of the most beautiful lipglosses I've ever had. It really goes with almost anything, since it's subtle enough for a smoky eye, yet it has a hint of pink and a hint of beige to it..it's really a great mix in between. I can wear this with anything, and it's a really great standby. I don't like the tiny size, and wish it were bigger for the price, but the shade is just so wonderful, I can't help but love it. It's a nude pinkish beige with some shine and no shimmer, which is also a reason it's so versatile!
Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pale Pink
honeyclover 10/11/2007 7:14:00 PM
This is my favorite go to blush for ease in the mornings. It has no shimmer, but it's a beautiful bright pink. When applied, it adds an innocent flush and it exactly the way I blush when I get warm or embarrassed. The texture is so creamy, and the packaging is darling and so chic. What more can I say about this? It's just so amazing. I want to try Powder Pink next.
This was my first brown eyeliner, and thank goodness it's a great one. A classic, this dark brown adds a rich depth to your eye makeup. It's so smooth and easy to put on, and it's also really long, which is encouraging when you buy this. I love using this to create a bit of a smoky eye effect, or on lazy days when I just feel like I need a dab of liner to add definition. It blends out really well. The staying power isn't great, and it smudges easily on my oily lids. Urban Decay Primer Potion is necessary for this to stay well.
Deodorants -Fresh - Roll-on Sugar, Deodorant and Antiperspirant
honeyclover 10/11/2007 7:08:00 PM
I've been using this for a year now, and I still haven't run out. The price isn't cheap at all, but it's worth it because it lasts so long, and it's good for you. I actually look forward to putting on deodorant because it's not strong, and the smell is not overpowering, especially over my perfume or any other lotion I have. It does a decent job of preventing sweat, and I never smell any body odor when I wear this. It's a little difficult to get out in the morning, but once you tip it over and apply, it's fine. Remember: just one thin layer of deodorant necessary!
This is a beautiful shimmery champagne with the slightest hint of pink. It's water resistant and has a long wearing time, as well as feeling weightless. I took this on vacation with me, and I didn't need another eyeshadow to achieve the natural, shimmery, I'm beautiful because I'm me, look. It also comes with it's own sponge applicator, but I think I prefer to just use my fingers most of the time. It dries fast, and looks very natural yet sophisticated on.
Lip Gloss -Lancome - Color Fever Lipgloss in Hot Number
honeyclover 10/11/2007 7:01:00 PM
I love the brightening effect this lip gloss has on my face. It really lights the face up, and makes my lips very shiny, but not like I drenched them in oil/put on a really bad lip gloss, but a wonderful, my lips just get drenched in sparkling diamonds shiny. This is a hot pink in the tube, but it's very very sheer when applied. The texture is not sticky and it lasts for a long time. And did I mention I just LOVE the applicator? It feels SO good. And it's so nicely precise. I just love this. There is lots of glitter, but you can't feel it on your lips at all. But for the more natural look lovers, this may not be for you.
Blush -Bobbi Brown - pot rouge for lips and cheeks- stonewashed pink

I would completely buy this again: it is just that great. At first, when I saw it, I thought it would be way too dark on me (from online). When I looked at it the first time in the store, it looked really bland and boring. But then, after reading all these reviews, I just had to have it. And now, after a few weeks with it, I don't know how I ever lived without it. I'm young, and I didn't want to have that really airbrushed fake looking look with unnatural blush, and this gave me such a natural tawny flush that I fell in love. I don't blush this way, but this gives me a nice glow that I adore. On my lips, it's not that flattering, but the cheeks call this a winner. It really is completely fabulous. And of course, it doesn't sink into pores, which seems like a dumb thing to mention in the first place. (...what kind of cream blush would that be?)
Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Lip Color - Sandwash Pink #22
honeyclover 10/11/2007 6:54:00 PM
I love this lipstick! First, I thought it looked rather bland in the tube, but it is really wonderful. I love the faint almost milky vanilla scent, and I got this as part of the pink ribbon collection, which is the Estee Lauder companies' Breast Cancer Awareness line. I love this on its own, or with Pink Beige lipgloss on top. Even the lipgloss which comes in the set really complements this well, but I think the nude lipgloss rounds the lipstick out in a nice way.
Sunscreen -DDF - Moisturizing Photo-Age Protection SPF 30
honeyclover 10/11/2007 6:51:00 PM
This is really nice for moisturizing your skin and putting some great sunscreen on it, and it's pretty cheap for a really good moisturizer. It really combines two steps in my morning routine really well! The packaging isn't the greatest, and sometimes, I find that I squeeze too much, and the smell isn't the best either. I think this was designed to be scentless, but it ended up with a faint not really enticing scent. It also comes out really white, and you have to be careful and blend it carefully to make it become transparent. Sometimes, little flakes of it come off when I put it on my face. But despite all that, this is a great product. I would repurchase, but I think I'm going to try the matte one next time. I love that it gives me SPF 30 though!
I love Fresh, and this product was a great alternative to powder bronzer. I do love my powder bronzers, however, and I wouldn't describe this as a bronzer. It has almost no shimmer to it, is fairly light, and gives a subtle, lit from within glow. It goes on cleanly and smoothly without smears or lines, and it's really nice to have on those days that you just look lifeless and blah. Since this is a creamy liquidy bronzer, it stays on my face all day, unlike some of the powder bronzers, which show up on my hand if I don't think and put my hands on my face (which I tend to do a lot.) The packaging is all right, and the price is something I don't love, but it's Fresh, so I'll deal.
I love the squeaky clean feeling this cleanser gives me, and it's one of the best makeup removers out there. Though they tell me about the amino acids and how it helps the skin, I can't really tell, of course, but it's really nice knowing that it doesn't strip the skin of everything. This is really great, though. When I have a full face of makeup on that I really need to take off, I don't turn to Purity, but this. It's a fabulous product, and afterwards, I put on some moisturizer (for my extremely dry skin) and I'm ready to go! I can't believe Purity gets all the hype while this cleanser isn't!
