Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I wasn't overly impressed with this as cleanser. I don't think it's the miracle cleanser that some make it out to be. Without seriously moisturizing my skin afterwards, I think its a bit drying on my already dry skin. I tend to remove my makeup before washing my face, but it does take off the stuck on mascara and eyeliner well. However, as someone with generally good skin, I just don't think cleanser as important as moisturizers and serums that stay on the skin, so for what it is, I just don't think it's worth the price. It's not overly expensive, but at the end of the day, it's just a cleanser. I was happy to use up my sample, but I don't need to purchase the full size.

Tinted Moisturizer -E.L.F. - Studio Tinted Moisturizer

I have mixed feeling about this product. I am very fair so in colder months, even the fairest shade is a bit too dark for me, so I need to spend a lot more time than I would like to blending a tinted moisturizer. WIth that said, for a dirt cheap product, it feels great on the skin and the coverage is good, almost on par with a light foundation. It's not as "moisturizing" as most tinted moisturizers. but on my dry skin, it does a decent job over a regular moisturizer. Overall, if you can find a color that works for you, I highly suggest giving this a try.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

I love this foundation! If my skin is particularly dry, I find that it sits a little funky on the skin, but as long as I am careful to thoroughly moisturize, I do not have a problem with this. I do find the coverage to be a nice light to medium coverage with just one layer applied with my fingers. With a buffing brush, it is more of a solid medium coverage. It does need to be set with powder, otherwise it has a kind of sticky texture. Overall, I love the product and woud definitely repurchase!

BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

Of all of the BB Creams I have tried, and it has only been a few, I do like this one best. It's light and feels nice on the skin. I did however use it up fairly quickly and the cost has deterred me from jumping right out and buying another tube especially with so many others popping up on the market, I have wanted to try out some others.

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Basics in Peach

I am very pale with dark bluish purple under eye circles. A makeup artist used this on my under eye area and it worked tremendously to correct them. It lasts all day long since it is the same formula as their actual eye primer, just with a peachy color instead of being flesh toned. It is incredible!

This shadow is amazing! It was given to me as a gift and it could not be a more beautiful color. it's a medium purple with gold shimmer in it. I adore it. i don't adore the price, but I'm going to suck it up and repurchase because I can't find a dupe and mine is almost gone. It's stunning! Particularly amazing over Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. Stop in Sephora or by a counter and check it out if you can!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Fit Me

This product is just...fine. Was I super impressed with it? no. Did it get the job done? yes. I just hit pan on my powder in 115 and while I love that it comes in such a light shade for me, it doesn't blow me away. It looks ok, lasts ok, and is just generally ok. I plan to finish it up because it doesn't offend me, but I do not love it and am not blown away.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush

This is a fantastic brush for applying foundation. I have been looking for a reasonably priced synthetic flat top brush for a while and was willing to spend more than the $3 that I did for this brush, but when I came across it in Target, I knew I needed to test it out. As soon as I brought it home, I used it to buff on my liquid foundation and it was amazing. It is so soft and has a great weight. I think I may need another because want a separate one for powder too!
