Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara

This stuff is amazing. Usually when I want long, thick, volumized lashes I would reach for Clinique High Impact Curling mascara, which is $20. But I justified the cost by reminding myself I only used it every once in a while when I wanted my eyes to really pop. Now I can get perfect and amazing lashes every day with this $8 mascara. The brush is what makes this so perfect, not only does it resist clumping, but the bristles are so close together I can wiggle it back and forth when some of my lashes begin to stick together and this fans them out individually. My lashes have never looked so full, simply because they've never been able to be fanned out by a brush until now. I love this stuff so much. My new go-to every day. Most definitely worth a try!

I cannot say enough how much I HATE this product. Not only did it give me no results after a full 3 months using it, but it made me break out with cystic acne on my cheeks. This stuff is overpriced garbage, don't buy it.

Polishes -Revlon - Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel

I love the colors, I purchased Spanish Moss and Midnight, however the product simply sucked for me. The application was a sticky mess, and like others have mentioned, it just WOULD NOT DRY. 3 hours after my very careful application, and I got sheet marks, smudges and dings. The polish felt rubbery, after one coat of color, painting the other hand, then coming back, the polish adhered to itself and got all stringy, which has never happened to me before. Not to mention the odor...all nail polish has it, but this product's odor is so strong it actually woke my mom up! Sorry, but this is a definite no-go for me.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF30

This is my HG moisturizer, but I can understand why some people aren't into it. People are saying it's greasy, it didn't absorb, or it made them break out...it's not for everyone, it's designed for people with sensitive/dry skin. For me, it's absolutely perfect. It gives a nice glow, I can wear this and just concealer under my eyes and get compliments on my skin! I usually have 2 or 3 zits on my face too, so that's saying something! It keeps me perfectly soft, and I like the smell. I wish it wasn't $17 bucks for me, and a squeezy bottle would be nice so I could get every last drop, but hey, I won't complain after what it does for my skin!

Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Head to Toe baby wash

HANDS DOWN MY HG FOR EVERYTHING-cleanser, body wash, shampoo!!!! I have extremely sensitive skin, and fine hair cut into a pixie, so it gets greasy pretty fast, especially with all this heat here in Chicago this summer. I used to use Purpose face wash, and only bought this for the little girl I babysit, but once I was in a pinch and this was the only stuff in my gym bag. I checked out the ingredients and saw that it's pH balanced and fragrance free, so I figured it wouldn't do much harm for only one wash, right? Well, after using it all over, my skin was super soft and didn't feel stripped and dry like some other products leave me, and my hair was super soft with no greasiness in sight. My boyfriend could not stop touching my hair that day, and asked me what I used...and I've been addicted to this stuff ever since! I have the huge 28 oz pump bottle which I use to refill my smaller 9 oz bottle I take to the gym and my 15 oz bottle I keep in my shower. Smells so good, not at all like baby powder or anything overly baby-smelling, and is cheap and easy to pick up at any drugstore, super store or grocery store. Also, you can't beat travel with this stuff...one bottle that does everything!!!

Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Refillable Buffing Brush (Black)

Okay, first off, filling this brush with your bare minerals foundation is an absolute NIGHTMARE. You're supposed to use the enclosed "spoon"s pointy end to pull the sifter off your bare minerals product. I don't know about you guys, but that wimpy plastic thing did nothing in the way of prying the sifter off my foundation. I had to use a metal tool for my nails...the powder got everywhere...might I mention that it's not cheap so I'm not happy about wasting it. Then you're supposed to fill up the clear container by scooping the powder into it. Yeah good luck with that. Then once you actually get all that stuff done, pretty much no product comes out of the brush head. Plus the brush is too long for me, I like to put my bare minerals on with a buki brush and this definitely was not. I'm really disappointed in this, it shouldn't be this difficult to make bare minerals portable. You would think with all the money they make from their best selling products, they would be able to research and develop a product that actually works for on the go, convenient make up application.
