Polishes -OPI - Liquid Sand: Stay the Night
hiy0hiy0 2/4/2013 3:22:00 PM
This polish dries to a sandy finish. It's different from all other polishes I've tried. The instructions said to apply base coat and then nail polish, no need to apply top coat. This polish dries to be a dark charcoal / black sandy rough base with red glitter. I personally like the wide OPI brushes, as it applied nice and even. The formula dries fairly quickly and I feel my nails are harder too. I am pretty rough on my nails and this polish has good stay power, has yet chipped and it's been 4 days. Like the previous reveiwer, you'll need some elbow greasy when it comes to taking it off as with most glitter polishes. If you are looking for a dark Winter shade with a subtle glitter catching the light, I would recommand getting his polish.

Eye Makeup Remover -Sonia Kashuk - Remove
hiy0hiy0 4/17/2012 4:03:00 PM
I use this Eye Makeup Remover for my waterproof mascara and it does a wonderful job taking everything off. Apply a liberal amount onto a cotton pad/ball and gently wipe off. To avoid leaving a film of grease in the eye, try not to soak too much product onto the cotton pad as the excess may easily get into the eyes. I finish off washing my face with a cleanser. Remove by Sonia Kashuk is comparable to Lancome's eye makeup remover and cost less. I will continue to buy this product as it's effective and affordable.

Polishes -Essie - Marshmallow
hiy0hiy0 4/17/2012 2:25:00 PM
This is my favorite summer color and it looks wonderful on tan skin. Marshmallow is my default shade for my French Manicures, but it's even more lovely worn alone. I use 2-3 coats to get the opaque color and finish with a top coat for extra shine. It's shiny enough w/o a top coat but I feel that the color will last longer with. It's an effortless summer shade and goes nicely with any outfit.

Polishes -Essie - Chinchilly
hiy0hiy0 4/17/2012 2:09:00 PM
This is a Gray with a Taupe untone, I think it's a great Fall/Winter color. I start with a base coat, then 2 coat of polish and finsh off with a top coat to keep my color and for extra shine. Generally, Essie polishes are watery (especially the lighter shades), Chinchilly is thicker in comparsion and doesn't streak. Essie's brush head is smaller compare to OPI. Keep in mind there products aren't "fast-drying" so make sure you give it enough time to dry. A bottle will last me a while and I will repurchase again.

Mascara -Tarte - Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara
hiy0hiy0 4/17/2012 10:41:00 AM
This is buildable waterproof mascara, 2 coats goes a long way. Gives good volume, definition and adds length. I like that it holds my curls and doesn't clump. I have oily lids so I tend to use waterproof mascara to avoid having the product smudge off giving me raccoon-eyes. Haven't had a problem with this mascara smudging and it survived a workout. I wear contacts and this mascara doesn't flake off and gets into my eyes like others I've tried before. I have no problem taking it off with eye make-up remover and a cotton pad. However, it does take longer to dry so be patient and it's pricey. I will repurchase this mascara until sometime more amazing comes along, so right now it's on the top of my list.

Primer/ Corrector -Tarte - MultiplEYE Lash Primer
hiy0hiy0 4/10/2012 4:57:00 PM
Bought this Tarte Multipleye Primer with high hopes only to be disappointed. The product did thicken my lashes BUT it also took out my curler so i end up with super straight Asian lashes and my lashes clumped together making my lashes extend out like spider-legs. I will not buy or recommand this lash primer.
