Very suprised at how good this is. I've used UD Primer Potion and MAC paint pots as bases. Both are decent. This blows them away. My shadows pop, stay on and stay true. No creasing. And even worn alone, it makes my eye area look "clean".
LOVE! I don't have blemishes or scars or deeply uneven skin tone that needs full coverage. Sometimes I wear foundation because it makes my other makeup stand out more. But most days I just need "something" as base, and THIS is it! It blends perfectly into my light NC20-25 skin, does not feel heavy at all, it's matte, and makes my face look alive, rested and perfect. Little dusting of powder and lasts all day. And my skin feels awesome, cushiony, well cared for. Not comparing it to anything else, have never tried an Asian BB cream. I used my regular serum and moisturizer under it. I used a pea sized amount and spread with fingers over my face.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
hipchick66 12/31/2012 5:24:00 PM
Hands down, best foundation I've ever tried (and I have tried lots from low to high end)! I have never liked foundation, and thankfully I have good skin so I used to be able to get by with concealer and powder foundations of varying sorts. But I've noticed that my skin needed something more to look finished. I grabbed this on a whim, and so glad I did. Color match is perfect, True Ivory, can't feel it on my skin it just makes me look finished and flawless, and makes my other makeup last and look even better. I use this with the Rimmel primer and a dusting of Stay Matte powder and it lasts all day and doesn't transfer to clothes or phone!
After my Dad's death in December 2011 and the subsequent grieving, I noticed that my face and neck were showing serious signs of stress. I don't have a lot of time or energy to try different products but since I have to face the world every day I needed something. Grabbed this on sale and am very impressed with the results. I noticed a difference the next morning. My face and neck didn't look so old and tired, in fact, I looked very fresh. I've been using it for a week now and am still seeing results. Only need a drop and use Cetaphil Moisturizer on top.
Hair Styling Tools -Conair - Infiniti Spin Air Brush

Love, Love, Love this Spin Air Brush!! I am usually skeptical of all gadgets, but was intrigued by the concept. There is nothing like a blowout with a round brush and dryer for volume and smooth shine, but since I have a LOT of hair and only two hands it's near impossible to do correctly. This product does EXACTLY that for me. I have shoulder length, sort of bobbed hair and it takes me about 15 minutes to do with this. I've used it a few times, and pretty much have it down pat now. Receive many compliments on how great my hair looks :)
Powders -Clinique - Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder
hipchick66 3/16/2009 10:58:00 AM
Preface: I only used Clinique Blended Face Powder as my base for years, until I joined MUA (and you know what happens after that, I own enough makeup to start my own store.) Anyway, I've gotten really tired of the makeup look, just wanted to go back to something simple: pretty skin (that looks like skin), mascara, blush, gloss. This powder helps me to achive that look with little effort. It makes my pores disappear, covers redness on my cheeks, and makes my skin feel cool and comfortable. I do use City Block Sheer SPF 25 underneath, but it works without that too! I'm going to put some in a little sifter jar to take in my makeup bag. It does what is says, and makes me happy. What else could I ask for?
Lash Blast sucks! I searched all over, finally found it, wore it today. The Very Black is a nice dark shade, but that's the only good thing. It didn't do much at all for my lashes (even afte 3 coats), and at the FIRST drop of moisture around my eyes (was lightly raining today), it ran straight down my cheek. I've tried all kinds of mascara from low to high end in search of the perfect thickening mascara, and I'll still be searching.
I have to disagree with the other reviews. I've been using this for about a week, and LOVE it! I use my regular styling cream, blow dry, then use this (a small amount sprayed into my hands) as a finisher. It gives me light volume, and does NOT weigh my hair down at all. I have a lot of hair and most finishing products weigh my already heavy hair down. However, this gives me some bounce all day long, and even helped to keep the frizzies down during very humid days.
Powder -Clinique - Perfectly Real Compact Powder Foundation

I LOVE this powder foundation! Great coverage, but not cakey or powdery looking. Lasts all day and gives a gorgeous finish to my skin. I apply with a brush and still get great coverage. For reference, I'm an LLL, MAC C2 and use shade #108 in this. Far superior to StudioFix in my opinion :)
I hate the feel of foundation on my skin, but alas, I need coverage. This is my new HG! I bought this in the Combo skin formula, shade Buff (LLL, NC20ish) and it's a perfect match. It blends easily, great coverage without being mask-like. Lasted through a really stressful workday with no touch up, and looked just applied even at the end of the night. And the best part...I couldn't even feel anything on my skin!
When I first opened the box I thought "oh no, it's too dark" (me: blonde, LLL, NC20ish), but I used my skunk brush to apply to my cheeks, and it morphed into this gorgeous sunburned pink! It's actually much more pigmented than Dandelion and Georgia. Mixed with a touch of High Beam, my cheeks looked glowingly healthy.
Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Style Surf Hair
hipchick66 4/16/2005 2:57:00 PM
I absolutely LOVE this! Used on dry hair, it gives me nice subtle definition of my layers. Used on wet hair, then roughly blown dry....well, my hair looks exactly like it does at the beach...curly, wavy and windblown with lots of volume!! It's not stiff, sticky, dry or flaky. Hair heaven in a jar :) For reference, I have thick, wavy, short layered hair.
Oh my, I *think* I have finally found my HG mascara, and that means alot, since I'm such a mascara 'ho! Got this in Black, it's dark black, glossy, makes my lashes fatter and longer, and doesn't cost a fortune!!
Why did I wait so long to try this? It is everyting I wanted....great color match, just enough coverage, weightless on, just perfect in every way. Highly recommend!
So far, so good with this one. It fans my lashes out and does give a slight lift. Got this in Black Brown and it's dark, like a soft black. I think this is a good everyday mascara :)
