Masks -Origins - Out of Trouble

love this product! after 10minutes of masking, i wipe it off with wetcloth, and you can see all the grime (blackhead, etc--ew!) coming off. it just feels good (for me) when i apply it on--my face feels lighter. it doesn't work as a spot treatment for me tho. so far, it's better than any other masks i've tried (to be honest, i haven't tried a lot of masks tho, lol XD).

Scrubs -Origins - Modern Friction
rated 4 of 5

i love this scrub! at first, it was a bit harsh for my face, so it broke me out. but i think my skin is getting used to it (either that or i was eating too much fried food the week i got this :p), now i like feeling how smooth it is, i think my pores are a bit smaller too. i switch between this and Origin Out of Trouble Mask. so, pretty decent results.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup
rated 3 of 5
hikaridoll 7/8/2010 4:52:00 PM

i was looking for a new foundation to swtich up my routine, and i heard so much raves about this product, so i'm giving it a try. i have oily skin, so when other reviewers said Revlon PhotoReady isn't suitable for us... i should've listened. i love the fine shimmer in this, but on me, i look like a greaseball! i had to constantly blot and puff my face all day. as for coverage, it's not too bad, it's buildable--but i don't like to layer my foundation, it feels too heavy. at the moment, i mix it with my old matte foundation to balance everything out. but for the price and packaging, it's not too bad.

Cleansers -Vichy - Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser 3in1
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 7/8/2010 4:45:00 PM

i really like what it does for my skin. i don't know how well it removes dirt and make-up (i follow with soap cleanser anyways), but after wiping it off, my skin feels really soft. i also love the smell.

Moisturizers -Vichy - Aqualia Thermal Light
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 7/8/2010 4:40:00 PM

i have oily skin, but still flakey--so i needed something light but moisturizing enough. this Aqualia Thermal Light, doesn't disappoint nor impress me much. after applying it, my face feels and looks greasy, that said, i think it helps calm my red and flakey skin. i actually quite like the smell--reminds me of the Nivea cream :p. all in all, it's alright. i prefer if it gets readily absorbed into the skin like Clarins HydraQuench Cream Gel though.... i would've gotten Clarins, but it's quite pricely. Vichy will have to do for the time being XD.

Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser
rated 3 of 5

i'm just trying this out because i ran out of my Clarins make-up remover but didn't want to fork all that money for it. so far so good. i would recommend that people with oily skin to rinse afterwards though. it takes off my make-up, but doesn't feel as clean as i wanted it to be.

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:42:00 PM

i must commend it for giving me the lash length and volume i wanted that a department store brands mascara can't. i actually don't mind that it takes longer to apply, as long as it doesn't droop or smudge on me during the day, then i'm content.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Tricolour Lipglass
rated 3 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:38:00 PM

the tricolor lipglass do look really good. unfortunately, the color on the lips are so identical, tht if u really have to get a lipgloss from this collection, one is enough. i'm afraid to shove the brush in and out though, i didn't want to mess up the color pattern, lol XD. the texture is alright though, it's not as sticky as your traditional MAC lipglasses.

Fragrances -Clinique - Happy In Bloom
rated 5 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:34:00 PM

this is the scent i've been searching for! i've got tons compliments and no complaints of it yet XD. Clinique's perfume (or counter) usually don't get my attention, but on one fateful day, i was bored n tried the fragrance--and i'm in love with it! it's light and fresh, i don't mind Clinique's Happy, in general, but Happy in Bloom is just right. although, the smell fades pretty fast; after a short stroll, it justs... doesn't stay. as for the packaging, i'm pretty sure most women wud prefer something more crystal-y and maybe more sparkles (hehe), and that's also my case. the print on the bottle is cute though :).

Moisturizers -Chanel - Hydramax + Active Moisture Gel Cream [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:27:00 PM

i must say i really love the smell of the cream. it also looks really good, kinda like rubbing blue aura into the skin (cheesy, i know ^_^"). the only reason i won't buy it again is because of the price. it hydrates me enough, but it's something a little less cheaper brands (Clarins, etc) can also do. i wud prefer it in a pump bottle though, i'm don't really like dunking my finger into the jar--and the spatula just takes me forever.

Cleansers -Clarins - Pure Melt Cleansing Gel
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:20:00 PM

it feels good, with it changing from gel to oil to milk to whatever. all that aside, i think it's pretty decent for a make-up remover. it doesn't feel squeaky clean, but my skin feels hydrated after i rinse. having said that, i always follow it with a proper cleanser... you know, just in case it doesn't get all the dirt.

Moisturizers -MAC - Studio Moisture Fix
rated 3 of 5
hikaridoll 3/30/2009 11:15:00 PM

i was hopeful for this product because... it's MAC! :p unfortunately, it doesn't do much in the hydrating department; my face gets tight and dry. i think it's too light for me even though i have pretty oily skin. i wish i had kept the receipt so i can return it.

Mascara -Clinique - Lash Power
rated 4 of 5
hikaridoll 5/11/2008 4:43:00 PM

i'll give it props for not smudging at all while i'm exercising and sweating away! (considering i really layered it on.) it did lengthens and makes my lashes fuller, however, it does feel kinda sticky when i blink. it did make an effort to try and curl my lashes, but i don't blame it because my lashes are stubbornly straight. i think removing it is pretty easy, since when u rub it w/ warm water it just flakes off. compared to ordinary mascaras that just smudges everywhere and takes a lot of effort to clean it off completely, i prefer this.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer
rated 2 of 5

I think this product is not good for dry skin, especially if your skin is constantly flaking. It's true that it's good for hiding dark circles, but it does really bad with hiding acne (mainly because it enhances the skin dryness). I'll go back to using MAC Select Moisture.

Cleansers -Origins - Checks and Balances
rated 2 of 5
hikaridoll 5/3/2008 1:45:00 PM

I think it's an average product, not good-not bad. It has a smokey mint scent, which is refreshing. It cleans well, leaving your face squeaky clean, it might be too drying for some. in my case, i think it's too strong for me--it kept breaking me out; a new zit keeps popping up after each wash.
