Skincare - Face -St. Ives - Scrub Free Exfoliating Pads
rated 4 of 5

I really enjoy these pads! I cannot say that they are making a huge difference in my skin, but they're helping for sure. I have combo skin with an extremely annoying t-zone that constantly has pimples. I have scars like crazy from my obsessive popping of pimples as well. My skin seems much brighter and I'm more confident without makeup with these pads. I can't say they've cleared up acne or faded my scars much, but my face seems more, I don't know, radiant. My biggest issue with these pads is the order I should use them in my skin care routine. If anybody knows the answer let me know! Should I use them BEFORE toner or AFTER toner (I use witch hazel). Usually, I let the product sink in for about 5 or 10 minutes before applying my toner if I can at night and I don't use them in the morning. Advice would be appreciated!

Treatments -Mario Badescu - Drying Lotion
rated 5 of 5

I'm so shocked by the bad reviews of this product! I'm 21 years old and my entire life I have suffered from acne. I mean cystic acne -- plus little bumps -- yes, I am blessed with BEAUTIFUL skin. Anyway, I decided to splurge a little for this after going to the derm multiple times and still not having the results I was pleased with. This stuff is amazing for bigger bumps. I wouldn't suggest this for the smaller ones because I feel as if it just doesn't do the product justice to compare on smaller bumps. For cystic acne or bumps that are aggrivating and refuse to disappear, put this stuff on for the night and watch them shrink considerably.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I'm a college girl. I don't like to get myself overly primped for class, but I also like to look presentable. This mascara allows me to look like I want to -- natural yet put together. I don't think I'd wear this mascara as a "va-voom" mascara, but it's fantastic for running errands/class etc. The best part? No smudging! I also live in Alabama, so I know about humidity. If there's no smudging here, I have a hard time believing that anyone would have a problem with it!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Million Lashes
rated 3 of 5
heyskankable 5/23/2012 7:44:00 PM

This product was pretty much what I expected it to be, as I never have extremely high hopes for mascara (HE or drugstore). I love the packaging, and that's what really pulled me in! It's so pretty and luxe looking. What's inside, though, was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't awful (it didn't flake or smudge or make my lashes brittle). It also didn't exceed my expectations in any way. I want a volumizing mascara, and this just didn't live up to it. If you're looking for a mild lengthening mascara, this is a good chioce, but other than that I wouldn't suggest it. I have yet to find that perfect mascara, but here's to hoping!

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
rated 5 of 5

I was on the hunt for a great makeup remover a few months ago and happened to stumble upon Kandee Johnson's blog. She had written an article about how she uses olive oil as a makeup remover. I've always been skeptical about this method -- it just doesn't seem like it would work to me. Kandee I trust, though. She reccommended mixing half olive oil and half witch hazel in a small spray bottle. It's the best advice I've ever taken. I spray about 3 sprays in a line on a cotton ball and hold it against my eye for about 10 second and everything's gone by the time I take the cotton ball off. I highly reccommend this mixture! It sound strange, but it really works!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One n' Only - Argan Oil Treatment
rated 4 of 5

When I first bought this product I was completely unimpressed -- but I was using it wrong! I thought that I should put this on first, but really it should go on LAST (but when hair is still wet). After I've used it after all of my other products (trust me, there's a lot...), I have fallen in love. It's seals cuticles in hair while creating a shine. It makes my wavy extremely thick hair managable, which is all I can ask for!

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - SS150 Large Powder Brush
rated 3 of 5
heyskankable 5/10/2012 8:46:00 PM

I bought this brush after reading and watching on youtube people rave about Sigma brushes. I got a few of them last Christmas and while I am satisfied with the others that I got, I cannot say that this one is my favorite. It's soft and it doesn't bleed like others have commented (not mine at least!), but it does shed. I use a liquid foundation and it's absolutely annoying to have to pick at these bristles on my face and mess up my foundation after setting it. I'm at a loss where to get brushes, though. I've had a MAC powder brush, and it was awful. Horrible. I'd much rather use the Sigma, although I know it's not the best out there.

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
rated 3 of 5
heyskankable 5/10/2012 8:42:00 PM

I bought the product a while ago and it's still lingering in my purse. I use it every once in a while when I REALLY need a cuticle cream. I must prefer cuticle oils to creams as I feel like they do a much better job of softening my cuticles. I have one from Sally's that I highly reccommend (the kind in the round nail polish). I'd much rather use that (even on the go) than the Burt's Bees cream. It's nice to have, but I wouldn't repurchase.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Concealer
rated 2 of 5
heyskankable 5/10/2012 7:55:00 PM

This is a tough one. I have both the creamy concealer and the corrector (which are supposed to go hand in hand), but I realy can't decide whether I like this or not. I'm on my second pot as it runs out EXTREMELY fast. A youtuber really loves this, and I thought I should try it out since I have a purple tone under my eyes (as most of us do!). I thought the corrector would help and it does..kind of. When I put the concealer on top of it, though, it feels so HEAVY. When the SA put this on me she kept telling me to use as much as I need to completely cover my circles, but when I do this I can't even so much as touch it as it will leave a mark because it's so thick! It covers, but it slides. It looks great for an hour, but I become overly obsessive about not touching anywhere near my eyes of fear that it will "dent" the concealer. All in all, I said I'd buy it again because I'm not saying no forever, but not for right now. I will probably continue to use the corrector as I feel like I can find a lighter concealer that does a fine job over top of it. Also, on a last note, DO NOT use the powder that comes with this concealer! It will show every crease and line around your eyes PLUS your pores. Trust me, not pretty.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
rated 4 of 5
heyskankable 4/6/2012 11:31:00 PM

People keep getting so upset with this product because it's not a bb cream. Let's all be honest though -- we want something to make our skin look great. This product delivers. I'm 21 and I don't need full coverage foundation all of the time, so this product is perfect for me. It comes off easily when you sweat, but it's also extremely easy to remove. It might not have all of the bells and whistles of a "real" bb cream, but it's a great product for what it is. I highly reccommend it.

Lotions/ Creams -Cerave - Moisturizing Cream
rated 4 of 5
heyskankable 1/9/2012 4:01:00 PM

I just recently found out that I have eczema on a few spots of my body. My dermatologist reccommended I use this cream because it has no fragrence and is moisturizing and will keep my eczema under control. I really enjoy this cream. I have to use a good bit of it, but I really think that it's worth it. When my spots of eczema clear up I have been told that it's okay to switch back to my normal array of body butters, and I probably will. I think this is expensive and therefore won't be purchasing it over and over again when I can use something that's cheaper and also extremely moisturizing (Korres body butter, Body Shop, etc..I get these at TJMaxx for super cheap). I will continue to use this as necessary, but I find that at 13 dollars a jar, which, yes will not run out any time in the next few weeks, really won't be a repeated repurchase. But for those girls with eczema spots like me, I highly reccommend!

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
rated 3 of 5
heyskankable 12/29/2011 12:26:00 PM

Let me start by saying that I agree with most of the comments that this really shouldn't be marketed towards dry skin, because it doesn't really help give back a ton of moisture. I live in Alabama, so even in the coldest winter it's still humid. I have acne problems to an extent and I use a topical B.P. cream which dries out my skin horribly. I've been using it during the winter and my face needs a pretty good moisturizer that will lock in moisture well. This just doesn't cut it. It adds a nice layer during the summer and I enjoy it when the humidity is at its highest, but for the winter I'd rather just use the Dramatically Different gel instead of this, which is way cheaper and simply a better moisturizer in my opinion.

Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
rated 4 of 5
heyskankable 12/29/2011 12:13:00 PM

I must say that people who claim this isn't even remotely similiar to orgasm/laguna you must not have played around with these products much. Laguna has a bit of an orange tinge to it in the pan but disappears on the skin for most. Orgasm is extremely shimmery on my skin. I prefer matte blushes, and so I know Orgasm is not for me. As for ELF's duo though, it's well made. It's cheap. It's accessible. The color pay off is pretty good and I would highly reccommend it for those who aren't up for paying more for a product that they could find similiarities in a 3 dollar product.

Cleansers -Biore - Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser
rated 2 of 5
heyskankable 12/29/2011 12:09:00 PM

When I first picked up this product, I really enjoyed it. It got rid of my few acne spots and kept new marks at bay. I kind of got to using it religiously though, by that I mean every time I washed my face I used it, and it dried my skin out like no other. I am so upset as this is a great product for clearing up acne marks. I would suggest using this only if you are EXTREMELY oily, which very few people are extremely oily. Or I suggest using it only a couple of times a week or when breakouts start. Then quit. The most important thing to know about this product is that it contains menthol, which I didn't realize before. Menthol is HORRIBLE for skin as it does dry it out. So be careful.

Polishes -OPI - Malaga Wine

I have an entire collection of red nail polish. I'm addicted to them, I can't help it. They're so classic and wearable any time of the year..it's hard not to love this classic color! This is absolutely without a doubt my favorite of my collection! Not too bright, but still a RED without looking too dark. A must have red for lovers like me!
