Liquid -Almay - Smart Shade Makeup SPF 15

I love this product! I recently got a tan and so my skin didn't need the full coverage foundation that I was used to applying. So, I heard that this was a light-coverage foundation, and I bought it. If you need full coverage, do not buy this! It won't be sufficient. But if you need something to just even everything out, as a lightweight foundation, then this is for you. I'd also say that it's more for dry skin; I have dry skin and the foundation gave me a dewey look, so I'm not sure how that would project onto already oily skin. But all in all, I'm satisfied with this purchase. Once my skin turns back to its normal pale state and becomes uneven again, I will probably have to stop using it, but until then, I am very happy that I bought it :)

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5

I absolutely adore this palette! I use it practically every day to wear my eyeshadow for school. I honestly have not touched eyeshadows outside of this palette for months. There are lighter colors for typical everyday use, but there are also darker colors for a night out. This gives the palette more usability and practicality. I don't know of any woman that this palette wouldn't suit. It is absolutely perfect. The formulation of the shadows are fantastic and the pigmentation will last all day. Urban Decay also has gotten their packaging right this time around with this sleek, easy-to-use palette. Well done, Urban Decay! I will be using this palette for a very long time.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

I was previously using Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation and while I liked it, it did not hold up as much as I needed it to. Even with a primer and setting powder, it simply wouldn't last. By the middle of my school day, I'd go to the bathroom and look in the mirror and see that my trouble areas were already showing up! This foundation will last ALL DAY. I am very satisfied with its staying power. I almost can't believe that it lasts so long. Yes, I can feel the foundation on my face, but it's not overwhelming. I can live with it. My main reason for needing a long lasting foundation is because of my gym class at school. My teacher works us a lot, and my foundation would often just slip off my face. I needed something that would hold up for me, and this has far exceeded my expectations. I only need to use a little bit of this product to get the coverage that I need. I use it with MUFE Camouflage Concealer Palette in No. 1 and the two work nicely together. I have this foundation in the formula for dry skin, and the formulation works really well. My only complaint is the lack of a pump. I feel like I'm wasting product when I'm pouring the stuff right out of the bottle. But still, I highly recommend this foundation. Even if you want to use it just for special events and not every day, it's so worth it. If you don't need the coverage, then opt out, but otherwise, this is a foundation that most women should look into to look flawless all day.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
rated 4 of 5

I really like this primer. It holds up pretty well, and makes my eyeshadows pop. I can put it on at 6am while getting ready for school, and it will last all throughout my school day and a four hour shift at my job. I do see some creasing at the end of the day, but it's not too bad, and I don't typically wear dark eyeshadows where creasing would show up a lot anyway. It's a good eyeshadow primer and I would definitely recommend it. In my opinion, UDPP is a little bit better, but Shadow Insurance has a better packaging method where you end up getting more product out of it. So, if you want more bang for your buck, then I'd recommend getting this over UDPP because you get more product out of it with the convenient squeeze tube.

Cleansers -St. Ives - Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser
rated 4 of 5

I'm really satisfied with this cleanser. I can confidently say that it helped out my acne. I have less breakouts now, and the redness in my face has significantly decreased. It does make my skin feel a little dry, but I already have dry skin in the first place, and besides, it's nothing that a good moisturizer can't solve. I would recommend trying this cleanser out, since for the price, there's really no reason not to try it out at least.

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 colors warm palette
rated 5 of 5

I'm a high school student, so I don't generally don't wear bright colors for school. I got the 88 matte palette first, but there were too many overwhelming colors (not wearable for school), and I ended up sticking to the neutrals it provided. So I found myself ordering the warm palette, and it's more than what I had predicted. I use this almost every day. It's that one palette that I immediately reach for a daytime look: a no-brainer. There are plenty of browns, yet there are some nice blues and plums as well. The pigmentation is amazing for the price, and I haven't had any problems with the packaging. A few problems I can live with, but buyers should keep in mind: -It could use a little less highlighting colors (they almost seemed like "fillers") -It blends alright...I'd say that you have to spend a little more time blending the colors. If you're used to very high quality eyeshadows, the quality of these may be slightly disappointing. -The eyeshadows are literally the size of a dime...the pictures on the Coastal Scents website are misleading and make you assume the eyeshadows are bigger than they are. (However, on a brighter note, if you run out of one shadow, there are plenty of similiar shadows.) If you are attending middle or high school I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for you! There are so many neutrals that you can make wearable looks for school, but you can always change it up...I mean there are 88 colors to choose from. And with a price like that, you can't go wrong! :)
