Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Enzyme Cleansing Gel

Overall Rating: 3 Price: 4 Packaging: 2 Would I buy it again? No. I bought this cleanser for my acne prone skin after seeing a lot of good reviews for it. I don't have major acne just a lot of small white heads and black heads particularly on my forehead and cheeks. Before getting my period I do break out more but hardly ever cystic acne. My main concern was to get rid of all my clogged pores, very oily skin (can probably cook a whole meal with it!), blackheads (bazillions on my nose), small whiteheads, and redness. I used the Enzyme Cleansing gel for approximately 2 months and at the start my skin was SLIGHTLY getting better and then for some reason it stopped working and does not work any more like it used to. I mean when I first used it I didn't see any miracle improvements just very slight changes such as less redness, smaller whiteheads, less blackheads. So basically I always still had acne. I am on the lookout for something that gets rid of all my facial problems. Obviously I will not be buying this again. But if it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. I guess it doesn't hurt to try. Unfortunately for me though all the try's I had were sadly disappointing.

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Tamanu Oil

I heard a lot of good things about this oil and went out in excitement to purchase it. I used it today for the first time and im thinking of selling it on eBay not because it doesn't work, I wouldn't know if it worked because I only had it on for about 15 minutes. The reason I don't like it is because it has the worst smell ever I am not one of those people who can take a smell in the name of skincare. This oil literally, im being serious, made me vomit. I just cant take the smell but to be honest i really did want to keep it on and I tried various methods like spraying the room with tons of perfume, rubbing vicks on my nose, eating! smelling lemon but I just couldn't do it and ended up washing my face and in the process vomiting :-( I cant recommend people to not buy it because it may be a very good oil but if your like me and cant take smell very good then I would not be purchasing this item and besides this is not the only oil in the world there's plenty more good oils that could be more beneficial to the skin. As for the price I paid $22 for a very very small amount of oil. So not a very happy shopper :-(

Let me start off by saying that I am acne prone but up until the age of 16 I really had no problems with my skin. My skin was so clear that I really had no idea what a pimple was and when I heard that other girls my age got pimples I was worried that there was something wrong with me because I had never gotten a single pimple. For all I know I used to wish I had pimples! My glory days ended in the year of 2006 when I first started experiencing these nasty little bumps on my forehead. They started off just above my nose then spread out all around my forehead. My cheek and chin were clear but my foreahead suffered. I didn't know what they were i'd never had a pimple so I decided to visit my doctor who told me they were in fact pimples. She prescribed me with some topical treatment which I had used but it failed to even show any sign of healing. I thus went back to my doctor and this time she prescribed me with some oral antibiotics which I had to take for three months. Now this was one miracle antibiotic because it literally cleared up my forehead acne within one month. Downside of it was that I was diagnoses with IBS because the antibiotics interfered with my digestive system. Now I need to live with that for the rest of my life! A couple of months later I started to get the same forehead bumps again and I immediately started the antibiotics and once again my acne cleared up. This time my IBS got worse. The next year I started breaking out all over my face not just my forehead but also my cheeks. I tried several products, to name a few; biore, clearasil, nivea, cetaphil, proactive, clinique, etc etc.. This process went on unsuccessfuly treating my acne until 2010 when I discovered a brand called clean and clear and a topical ointment containing clindamycin. These two products cleared my acne up 100% but unfortunately the clindamycin started to give me whiteheads and that was the day I decided to try jojoba oil and it has been one week of using it. I was my face with neostrata glycolic cleanser and then clean and clear face wash then dry my face and apply the jojoba oil generously. It is the last day of my first week of trying it and I actually love it! I haven't had purging yet but it's only my first week. The bumps on my forehead are reducing to a very small size and my cheek acne has also reduced not that I had much to start off with but I will update you guys on the last day of my second week but right now I'm loving my skin because it is clear of bumpy acne!!!

I ran out of my normal cetaphil face cleanser so i decided to try this soap. the first 5 days were going great and my skin looked okay and there was absolutely no breakouts but come the 6th day---GUESS WHAT!!!! i broke out with many little pimples and 2 cystic type pimples which i hadnt had since a year.. wow all that effort of keeping my acne at bay gone in just a whim :( now i have the trouble of getting rid of these horrible pimples and faithfully go back to my cetaphil cleanser. in conclusion it might work for your skin but it definately did not work on mine and unless you like acne then you can try this little bugger out. it might be better just for the body not for FACE!!!!!!!! take care

i have really thin hair so i bought this shampoo as the customer service lady said it was the best shampoo in their shop!! ive been using it for a while now and I wouldnt say that it gives volume but it makes your hair feel clean. i wouldnt reccomend it for people that want big hair. the price is pretty expensive and its not much content.

I really wanted to like this shampoo but it just didnt work for me. At start it actually did volumise my hair like a lot and that was with blowdrying. but then after a few weeks, it stopped working and i was finding that my hair kept falling out, so i stopped using it. overall it worked at the start but then will stop eventually.
