Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Vaseline Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Lotion

Amazing, wonderful moisturizing lotion. This is definitely one of the better Vaseline lotions. I have tried both the unscented and the one that does have fragrance in it. I prefer the one with fragrance because I don't like the way unscented lotions smell like. This lotion is really creamy and extremely hydrating, especially when my skin is dried out in winter. I still feel it on my skin the next day. However, during the summer its a bit too heavy but during winter, this is a must for me.
Your classic standard green clay mask. While it's not my favorite mask ever, I continue using it because it does do a great job of making my skin feel really smooth and clear looking. It is great on my forehead and nose where I get the oilliest. It is a tad drying on my cheeks and chin, I feel like I have to slather on the most moisturizer there. As a spot treatment this does nothing for my pimples. However this mask smells great, it's really inexpensive and you can find it anywhere. By they way I have the tube, next time I'll pick up the jar version of this.

Feels oily on my skin, I have tried more moisturizing lotions than this. My skin didn't feel so great after a few hours compared to other lotions I've used in the past. It doesn't smell that great either and the scent lingers on my skin.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Deep Action Cream Cleanser

I completely changed my mind about this cleanser. I really don't like it. Let me explain, the first few weeks I thought this was helping with the few pimples that were starting to pop up. Now months later and after almost finishing the tube I have broken out on my entire left side of my face, my chin, and my forehead (and I never get pimples there.) Plus the menthol in this no longer feels refreshing instead it burns and irritates the dry parts of my face. Also this cleanser left my skin rough and bumpy. I won't use this anymore and I'm going back to using my trusty Cetaphil. Which never gave me problems. Won't repurchase and I don't recommend it.
Does what it claims. Using this and mascara only. My eyes look bright and awake. I really like it, I just don't like the price.
Styling Products -Aussie - Dual Personality Mousse plus Leave-In Conditioner

I use this everyday whether I am going to straighten, curl or leave it on it's own. Brings out my natural waves. Tames my frizz while leaving it soft and not sticky. I like the scent too and I like that's also a leave in conditioner a nice bonus.
This is the first Aussie product I tried. Since for awhile the only conditioners I have tried have been from Herbal Essences. But I decided to give this conditioner a shot because it was so cheap at my Target and I have heard great things about this conditioner. First, it's very creamy and very moisturizing. I have very long hair, some split ends and I regularly use heat on it. This conditioner has left my hair really shiny, soft and not frizzy at all. At first I couldn't quite place the scent until I read the reviews on here and I agree with everyone on how it smells tropical it reminds me of a pina colada which I love. I am sticking with this and I can't wait to try some Aussie shampoos.
I hated the smell, product scents really lingers in my hair and this was no exception. Left my hair really sticky and after straightening my hair it wasn't as soft as when I use my other heat protectant spray. For the price it's not worth it, my three dollar Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray works better than this and I can use it that one for blow drying, straightening and curling it. This iron guard is really only suited for straightening your hair.
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

I use this cleanser morning and night. I have combination skin and I rarely get pimples but I do get a lot of blackheads on my nose and chin. I still don't get any pimples from using this but my blackheads are still there. Still it's a great cleanser its really gentle takes off all my makeup and leaves my skin really soft not tight or dry. So many people and dermatologists recommend it and I can see why. The packaging is great the pump makes it really convenient and it lasts forever.
Favorite toner ever. I have combination to normal skin. My nose and my forehead get oily and my cheeks are perfect not dry and not oily. This toner really refreshes my skin and I really do think this has helped prevent any pimples and has reduced the blackheads on my nose. I use it morning and night. It takes the remainder of my makeup off at night and in the morning helps get rid of the excessive oil that has accumulated over night. I can see how this how would be harsh for someone who has sensitive or dry skin since this contains alcohol and it's quite strong. But my skin isn't sensitive at all so I can use it with no problems at all. I recommend it you have acne or oily skin. I also really like the scent. Its very refreshing.
Styling Products -Clairol - Dangerously Straight Flat Out Finishing Spray

I remember using this product long before really knowing how to use it or what is was for. From what I remember is this, left my hair feeling really soft and silky. It also made my hair easier to straighten. The only reason I stopped using it was because all the drugstores stopped carrying it and I couldn't find it anymore even Herbal Essences doesn't have it on their website anymore. It's a shame because if you use it correctly it really leaves your hair nice and silky. Sort of an alternative to using heavy serums that can weigh down and leave your hair feeling greasy. But just recently on a trip to Big Lots! I saw this product for only $2.50 and it brought back memories of this product which I thought was long gone. I didn't get it, but I am tempted to pick up a few bottles of this stuff up.
My favorite conditioner from the Herbal Essences line and I have pretty much tried them all. It's so creamy and it turns my dull fried ends soft and manageable . I only use it on my ends so it doesn't weigh my hair down since it's quite thick. The scent is amazing they describe it as red vanilla and whipped aloe sounds strange but I am a sucker for anything vanilla scented. The only negative for me at least is when I use this I have to be careful because this conditioner makes my back break out, gross I know. It's incredibly moisturizing and leaves my hair soft and without any frizz.

Great scent. Leaves my hair really shiny and holds my curls. If I use too much my hair does get crunchy, but you just have to use a little bit at a time and your hair will be great.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences- Hydralicious Reconditioning shampoo
heiditeafan 9/16/2009 2:18:00 AM
I pretty much have tried all the Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners since I switch them out often. This is a great shampoo its smells good but to me the scent reminds of the hello hydration shampoo and conditioner. The ones in blue bottles. But I don't mind. Leaves my oily scalp not greasy and my dry ends soft and conditioned. Good shampoo overall plus it's purple.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo

This is a wonderful shampoo if you have dry hair, its dirt cheap and the conditioner that goes along with it is awesome too. It smells great and leaves my hair well conditioned and soft. My only gripe with this is it builds up in my hair, leaving my scalp greasy . I have an oily scalp but my ends are really dry. I still use this shampoo from time to time but I make sure to use a clarifying shampoo like the drama clean from the Herbal Essences line. Hence why I rated 4 lippies instead of 5. But it's still good and it smells wonderful.
