I don't think this product really does anything for me. :( I do have a few blackheads, but I guess not enough for this product to take them out? These strips do work really well for my brother. It does seem a bit expensive seeming you are supposed to use them weekly. I'm not sure if I want to recommend this... I would probably just stick to a mint clay mask. :)
I have dry skin, but I use this everyday as a nighttime cleanser. I love this product. It is a little harsh for my skin, but with the help of a thick moisturizer at night and it works miracles. I have used many cleansers from both high and lower ends. I feel like this cleanses my face the best for its price. I definitely recommend for non-sensitive skin.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

This product is great for freshening up your look. I found that this product does take some of my makeup off with it. It is great for removing oil from the face, but I like to touch up where I blotted with a little powder. I find that after applying the powder to blot without the use of these sheets, I feel cakey. To me, this product takes of the oil and whatever the oil is mixed in with. It does not take off my makeup where I don't have oil, but where I do it does. I like to use this when I have a long day at work and want to freshen up for a night out with the girls.
The hype about this product was so big I couldn't skip it, so I bought it. I purchased the waterproof Lash Blast. As soon as I applied the mascara to my right eye, it started to tear and turn red. I freaked and went to the bathroom to wash it off. I seem to be quite sensitive to mascaras so I am always careful this is going to happen. But I gave it a try again just to see what kind of affect it would give me. I find that it does not clump, but does not lengthen my lashes as much as I expected it would. I might have liked it for a natural look if my eyes weren't so sensitive to the product. But as far as I could have tried on my lashes, this didn't give me the dramatic lash effect I was expecting.
Bronzers -Rimmel - Sun Shimmer Bronzing Compact Powder (ALL)

I bought this on a whim with my roommate on a vacation in Cali. I loved the price and was in dire need of some warmth on my face. I got the one in Sunlight because I wasn't sure of what color to get, so I just got the lightest one. This product just warms my face up very nicely. It isn't dark and gives me that natural glow that I wanted. It does seem a bit orangey if i apply too much, so with a light hand I apply it over my cheeks, temples, and contour areas. I will definitely repurchase, if I ever run out... it is a lot of product that you get for such a great price.
I got this blush because of the rave that was going around. It is a great color, very pigmented, but very pigmented. I love NARS blushes because they are so pigmented, but this color just is too dark on my skin tone. I have to use a light hand, and powder over it to tone it down a couple notches before I escape from the clowny face it gives me. I do love the product and the whole idea of it being a wearable color for all skin types, but for mine... It does look great with the powder over it and that is why I give it such a high rating. I will probably just keep this one in my collection just to have it there rather than wear it.
This was my first mascara I ever tried. Back in middle school and all throughout high school this was all I used. I loved this, but I do have very sensitive eyes and this formula irritated them quite a bit. I still used it regardless of my teary eyes because it didn't smear. I think this is the only mascara in my life that didn't smear. I come back to it now and it irritates my eyes too much that I cannot wear it or I would have tears pouring down my face. I also found that it made my lashes quite stiff and dry. It did all the great things a good mascara is supposed to do (lengthen, volumize, shape, separate, etc.), but I just cannot wear it. It's a great formula except the fact that I am allergic to it.
I am surprised this wasn't rated higher. I actually really like this mascara. I do have very short lashes that need much lengthening and this does the trick. I like how it is applied while it is still wet. I really like how soft my lashes are even after the product has dried. The look is so natural, it looks like you have really long lashes naturally. However, one con is that it leaves smudges when I am not wearing eyeshadow. I have this problem with all mascaras, but this one especially. I usually don't wear eyeshadows because I like the natural look, but with this mascara it is a must. This product does give off the spidery lashes like others have said, but only if you apply much too much. It does come off quite easily. I actually haven't ever had a hard time taking off my makeup with my oil makeup remover (Bella Pierre Milky Cleanser). Actually, I take that back... Cover girl Lash Blast. That one took a bit of effort to take off, but that is for another review. I have tried all sorts of ranges including the higher end and the lower ends and even those that aren't known as well. I still think this is the best I have tried for my kind of lashes.
I bought this product because of the hype. It was in magazines everywhere, MA's recommended it and friends loved it. My roommate was a huge fan of this mascara so I thought I might give it a try. I have very short stubby lashes, but they are quite thick. I found that this mascara would probably work better with those that have perfect lashes like my roommate. For me... it really didn't do much. I don't hate it because it doesn't do absolutely nothing to my lashes. It does give them a good thickening coat, but the formula is quite a bit clumpy and makes lash combs a necessity. I think I would probably use this when I want something light, but as I do have very short lashes... mascara is a must. It didn't smudge on me like most mascaras do, so that is a plus... But other than that.... I have nothing to say. It was quite affordable being under $5.. So I guess you get what you pay for? I won't throw it away, but most likely will not repurchase.
Lipstick -Neutrogena - MoistureShine Lipstick - Angel's Blush

I love the packaging of this product. The clear tube is so cute. I actually really love the whole product. I found that the color doesn't show up as well without a primer. If I use a nude lipstick or spackle or any other primer, the color is so pretty. It is a nice pink, but with a little coral/ peach. I find that is is extremely moisturizing and a great everyday color. It even has SPF! I love this, if only it was a bit more affordable...
Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Mineral Face Powder
heeji16 9/1/2009 2:09:00 PM
I like this powder as a setting powder over everything on a day I want to look matte. It has great coverage, but the color is too light if I use as a full foundation(NC20-25). This powder seems to be the only one that doesn't break my mother out and that is what brought me to it. Overall I like it, but am unsure of who to recommend it to. I guess those with sensitive and fairer skin, this would be great. It is a mineral powder with SPF, so other than the color choices it is really perfect.
I love this product as a primer. It is great under a light dusting of powder or under liquid foundation. I don't have oily skin but I find that it is quite oily/dewy alone. But with a little bit of powder, a little bit of laguna and some pink lipstick, I'm ready to go! I actually really like this product. It smoothes out my face for a nice clean canvas for my makeup and it has SPF. I'm not in the sun much, but I feel SPF is a must in makeup! I would not recommend alone, but with any kind of powder to set it I recommend to all! Will definitely be purchasing again.
I like this color. It is a very nice nude pink. I found that it is the exact color of my lips, but if I apply Creme d' nude under it comes out as a nice pink. The consistency is creamy, but not as creamy as cremesheens. It is a frost, but the shimmer is very light and not too much. Very wearable, a good everyday lipstick if you like pinks. I normally stick to pinks and nudes, so this fits right into my collection. I recommend to those that are just starting with lipsticks.
Blush -L'Oreal - True Match Superblendable Blush in Baby Blossom
heeji16 9/1/2009 1:18:00 PM
I like this blush. It is a bit shimmery, but if you buff it out it's not so bad. It's a light pink that is super girly for younger and fairer skin. This is a nice color to have in a blush collection. I tend to go for a pink blush than a peach, so this works out great for me. Will most likely purchase again.
I had been wanting to try an Almay foundation for the longest time and I found this one on sale for only a few dollars. I read that this was 97.4% natural and it sounded interesting so I bought the one in naked. I found that the color is a perfect match for my skin, but the consistency is quite runny. I used about a full pea size to cover my whole face. Te product felt sticky on my skin and had a flowery scent. The coverage is very light which is great for days that I want a no makeup look, but not for everyday. I do like a dewy look, but this just doesn't seem like the natural "dewy", more like a sweaty? I wish this product had SPF, I would have liked it if it protected me from the sun. This foundation is nice, but because it makes me feels sticky and sweaty and I probably won't purchase again. I will keep using it as a base, maybe tinted moisturizer, and add something on top of this to not feel so sticky. I guess for only a few bucks, it was a good buy.
