Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Latisse Lash Growth Drops

Possibly the best product i have ever used! Don't even bother with the Revitalash and others. Lashes are long, thick and black within about 4-6 weeks. Even better than the Jan Marini. I have the Latisse however its pretty pricey so next time i will buy the Lumigan. Don't worry about the applicators they are too fiddly, just use an old (clean) liquid eyeliner brush. You dont need to use too much. Great stuff though, big tick.

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

My lips were getting really dry over winter. All of the chap sticks and balms really were not doing much to help my situation. My lipstick was going on all flaky. I read about this product online but they do not seem to sell it in Australia. I bought one off E Bay and it comes in quite a big squeeze tube. It will last AGES! Seriously, it is the best thing for dry lips. Its not fancy, had no smell or colour but it instantly soothes lips and within a few days mine were nice and soft. I have bought another 3 tubes for family members and the girls at work. Best find in quite some time.

Powder -Giorgio Armani - Silk Powder Foundation

This stuff is pretty good i must say. It is very finely milled and does tend to give a flawless finish. It gives a much nicer finish on me than the Prescriptives All Skins mineral foundation. I find that mineral makeup tends to separate on my skin and talc based products work better.

Hmmm not great. Coverage is OK but (a) it makes me look a bit greasy (b) it makes me look sallow and it does tend to show up any imperfections. I cannot bear to look at myself under the fluorescent lights at work. I think i much prefer a talc based preparation to be honest like Armani silk powder.

Masks -L'Occitane - Express Radiance Mask
rated 5 of 5

I like a putting on a mask but I wonder whether they really do anything. Anyhow, I bought this one and it is lovely. My skin feels smooth and bright after use, I have normal skin and did not find it to be drying. It smells devine. As I said, don't know if it does much long term, but i really like it.

As others have said, vey runny so you tend to go through a bit. Smell is nothing special. Most of all, it leaves hair feeling clean but kinda like straw. Won't bother purchasing again.

Not great! Yes, it warms, but its thick and gluggy, kind of feels like a claim mask. Skin does not feel clean afterwards. Does notthing for backheads either.

Eyes -Jan Marini - Age Intervention EyeLash

Ok, I have been using this for about a month - religously! I think it actually works. I have pretty long lashes to start with but I think this has given me more lashes and perhaps made them a little longer. I can not say "oh my God" I can notice and earth shattering difference but there is a difference for sure. I do notice the skin around my eyes (where you paint the stuff on) is a little red, but this fades. I am going to keep using it and will provide an update.

I bought this because of its cult status - so I just had to have the bloody thing. I dont know if my review is being influenced by everyone elses rants but I think I like it. Its nice and subtle, maybe a bit shimmery but on the whole, looks good.

Cleansers -Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea Cleanser

Not a bad scrub. Does not rip your face to shreds. I kind of alternate between this and Microfoliant(Dermalogica) when I want something a bit more "scrubby". Does sting a little if you get it in your eyes. Feels nice and fresh and I hve not found it to be over drying.

Not a bad product. Very good colour for my lips but does not go on nice and smooth. Kind of "grabs" the lips. Overall though, not bad may repurchase.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

Love this mascara. I have fairly long lashes and lots of them. I hate the look of clumpy mascara. This one just separates the lashes nicely (like no other i have tried). It is a drk gray (not really black) but back enough. I have it in the non waterproof. Its pricy but i reckon its worth it. Also, a tip, after curling with my Shu curler, i go over the lashes with clear (cheapo) mascara and then put this mainly on the ends. Works well.

Tinted Moisturizer -DuWop - Revolotion Face
rated 3 of 5
hazel1705 3/22/2007 5:15:00 PM

I have never used a tinted moisturizer before. I never use foundation, just Giorgio Armani pressed power (which is great). I just wanted something to even our skintone, but not to heavy or greasy. This stuff is thicker than most TM's and has a slightly mousse like quality. It goes on a little greasy but this problem resoves itself and leaves a lasting finish. My skin is not oily and tends to get a tad dry at times. I dont know how this would go for people with oily skin but for me it is fantastic. I have it in "Nanci" the lightest shade. HOWEVER 3 months on this stuff has separated and turned into an oily mess - bugger, will have to piff the remainer out. I will try another brand - perhaps Laura Mercer I have heard good reviews about that one.

Skincare - Body -Bio Oil - All Products

Bought some of this a month ago ...love it. Makes my skin nice and soft and after going overseas i developed some freckles (or sunspots) on my shoulder, just really light. This stuff faded them completely. Better than that fading studd from Cellex C (which also stinks). This stuff smells dreamy!

Scrubs -L'Oreal - Pure Zone Deep Exfoliating Gel Wash
rated 4 of 5
hazel1705 1/19/2007 6:37:00 PM

I use Dermalogica microfoliant which I love on a daily basis - In fact I was using it morning and night so I wanted something a bit less expensive to alternate. This stuff makes my face tingle and feel clean, probably to harsh for everyday useage but, twice a week its pretty good and if anything, my skin is prone to dryness and i have not found it overly drying. I may well repurchase.
